    Wow. Awful. I'm on the bus right now and will update later. Where do I start? Baltimore to NYC 8:40 bus Seats as uncomfortable as possible. Tiny. No leg room. Horrible. No place to store anything ... No overhead storage...not built that way. Seat back pockets torn. Floor so dirty and disgusting that we hesitate to put anything underneath but we have no choice. Workers were polite but not too helpful. My seats were double booked. Their response was sort of "oh well. See if you can work it out w the other people.". Fortunately we did Got to the seat ... Mine had some rubber cover on it which had a large puddle of something ... Oil? Extreme body sweat? Pee? Don't know. Driver said she couldn't do much about it and to find another seat (I paid the fee for these seats and the bus is full). Couldn't find anything onboard to help clean it. We discovered that the rubber cover could come off. Pulled it off which pulled the seat cushion off of its rails. Got that back on but left rubber thing on the floor Now driving... Broken skylight (the glass part that creates shade broken but the upper glass is ok) but pieces of glass tinkle down, it blocks no sun so we're all blinded and it has created a greenhouse in the top level ... Everyone is miserable from the heat. And still an hour to go. Good gosh

    I have to hand it to Megabus...they were on time! They departed and arrived within one minute of the scheduled time on each end. I really appreciate that. This is my first bus ride from DC to NYC, so some of my observations might be "normal." Here go the positives and negatives... Positives: On time! Comfortable ride. Pleasant staff. The schedule has the most options. Negatives: I arrived 30 minutes early as suggested. There was no one there until about 10 minutes before we left. Not too big of a deal, but it was 21 degrees and windy. Next, the price was fully double what it was on the carrier we returned on (same day). I really didn't see an appreciable difference in comfort or service. I'd probably take Megabus again, if for nothing else due to its reliability and scheduling choices. Taking everything into account, though, it was a good trip.

    No air-conditioning or ventilation. Several passengers complain to the driver about the issue, but he did nothing.

When I forgot my suitcase after waking up from a nap (another bus company), I realized their call center is outsourced to India, who could not help me reach their ground office in D.C.. I had to be very resourceful and ubered directly to their parking lot to find my suitcase (luckily). Ever since that, I try not to choose bus companies without robust customer support. My experience with BestBus was a breeze. I filled out the lost and found form on their website and called. I was quickly helped and received an email confirming my iPhone was identified within two days. I provided an USPS shipping label and they shipped the phone back to me safe and sound. I'll pay it forward by recommending Best Bus to everyone I know!

I was thrilled to see that the 7am bus from DuPont Circle was waiting when I arrived at 6:45, and that I was able to board immediately. Not only was there a working electrical outlet, but the WiFi signal was strong and effect. Those were the "best" parts of the expert - it was all downhill from there. I didn't realize there was an additional stop at Union station, and that took quite a while. The driver was very friendly and courteous, but the 15-minute rest stop that turned into 20 minutes made it clear that speed isn't really a priority for this service. We arrived at the stop on West 34th Street and 9th Ave at 12:10pm, and while it was much quicker to park there than it is near Penn station, if I have to walk to Penn station anyway, this isn't much of a plus for me. Probably the most annoying thing about today was that my 5:30pm return trip was cancelled due to technical issues and I had to cut my trip half an hour short(er) to get the 5pm replacement trip instead. I appreciate getting an early notification about the return bus snafu so I was able to adjust my plans accordingly, and I know these things can happen, but if I'm going to be on buses and trains for 12 hours in a day, losing that half hour of planned productivity really isn't great I'll allow that BestBus likely has the best service I've experienced on an Intercity bus in terms of courtesy and communication. And the DuPont Circle is super convenient for me before the metro is running on a Saturday. Beyond that though, this isn't my preferred choice for travel to New York.

I tried Google and yep of course to look up and research different companies in the area that would service the DMV. Needless to say DCPath kept coming up and so I reached out to see if this would be an option for our special event. I sent them an email with some specifics and received a quote immediately. The company communicated effectively the plan of action for the special day for my daughter and my family. They also made sure everything was broken down and explain as far as terms and conditions. On the day of services are driver arrived 15 minutes early and advised via text that they were outside waiting. When we came out the driver was very cordial and also helpful in getting everything that we needed for the entire day loaded into the sprinter that we rented. The sprinter was very clean and up-to-date. Once we were all loaded into the sprinter the driver got us to the arena very safely and early. During the day we went to several stops before returning home later that night. The entire day was absolutely perfect thanks to DC path and our driver. The driver called and communicated all day long during different drop offs and activities that the family had throughout the day. The Google and your reviews really don't do DC path Justice as they definitely deserve a 10-star rating for providing great customer service, effective communication, excellent vehicle options, and pricing. Whether you are just looking for a ride to the airport or special events DC path is the way to go! Mastewal our driver was absolutely great. Yikes! -- After 2 positive experiences, things unfortunately took a negative turn with Next Destination Transportation. The owner, admittedly, is underway in a busy season and sent zero text messages (as he has done in the past) to confirm a scheduled pick-up. Miscommunication on both ends perhaps and the terms and conditions are spelled out on the website but it seems he picks and chooses when he wants to follow them. In the spirit of fairness, the cars have been clean and the drivers have been professional...until now. What I won't do is stay on the phone for 20 minutes repeating myself. I simply encourage all of you to get confirmation by phone, email, AND text if you don't want your full payment to be a donation to the business. =)

I used the YC mobile app & web app twice to get him a ride. Both times it said the driver would arrive in 4 mins--guess that's their default--but actually arrived in 15+ mins. When you book, they just tell you the ride is confirmed, but don't give you any information about the driver or how long it'll take for a few good long minutes. After a loooong wait, it says your driver is 4 mins away. The last time I booked with them, I watched the car on the app that had confirmed just sit, not move an inch, for probably 5 minutes solid. Geographically he was super close. Then for about 8 minutes he just inched along until he did finally reach the neighborhood. BUT, he whizzed right by the school and went down the street and just sat there. I called the service number 3 times-- it's just an automated machine. You can request to speak to the driver. Each of the three times I selected it, hoping to let him know that the school was behind him, it ring once and then hung up. After waiting for 16 minutes total for a car that was in the beginning had been like a 6-minute drive away, I cancelled the ride and ordered an uber for $8 more, which arrived in precisely 4 minutes.

I called him and he had no explanation except "Call Uber". BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE. I was unable to cancel the ride for another because your app thought my ride was "in progres" AND it wouldn't let me log in to make a phone call through the app or get help. Over and over again for an hour I tried to get help from Uber and couldn't reach a SINGLE PERSON. When I finally did--all they could do was charge me $30 for the trip you forced me to cancel THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE WHEN I ARRIVED and then charge me $78 for a new ride--$30 MORE THAN THE RIDE I HAD SCHEDULED. I've now paid $100 to wait an hour to get home when I should've paid $40 to not have to wait at all. They stole money from me, failed to help me when they left me stranded at the airport, finally *did* connect me with an agent only to charge me more than double for all the difficulty, and then made it impossibly difficult to even ASK for a refund--because there's no phone service for customer support. Just their circular AI and a series of multiple choice options THAT DO NOT COVER ALL POSSIBLE PROBLEMS. They're obviously trying very hard to take ZERO responsibility for your failures. So please know that I will NEVER use UBER again. I'm so done with them that I'm copy-pasting this review anywhere else that I can and giving them as many 1-star ratings as humanly possible.
