Their tube slides are extremely dangerous. My youngest hit his head multiple times on the yellow slide. The other slides are made from concrete and scraped my children's toes. There's little to no shade and seating for parents. The park is tiny and always packed with little kids so trust me if you're looking to relax look somewhere else. These slides are not safe and not well built to not bring your children to these death traps. read more

Great location! Best lifeguards we've experienced at any water park. The guards are always attentive and providing a safe environment for lots of children to play. The one & only downside to this location is limited seating & parking areas. The overflow parking was $26 for the day, in addition to the cost of the park admission. BUT the park is reasonably priced, especially for all day fun! They have 3 large water slide areas and the lines move pretty quickly. read more

We came to the Waterpark for the 4-6 PM pricing ($10 per person) one evening during our trip. Our boys (4&6) loved the water slides. The employees were super kind and helpful with our boys. They allowed our youngest to ride the raft slides with us. It is small but enough to enjoy for a couple hours. read more

Amazing all the way - it's run well. It's an iconic staple of the island and if you're a first timer on the island or a tourist regular or adopted local and you've never been, YOU'RE MISSING OUT- great way to spend the day allowing your kids to play while you can sit back and relax ( very safe environment- not huge like six flags etc ) and we all know that the biggest let down and false hope of dragging all that stuff down to the beach - only to realize your beach trip would be a bit more relaxing if the kids were vacationing at another beach. We visited the park with family and had a great time. Staff were friendly and helpful and looked out for safety. The park was clean and the owner seemed to be very involved. Bathrooms were clean as well. Grabbed a bite from the snack bar and the food was good. We will return next time we are in town. read more

This is a well run water park that gives families a break from doing the ocean everyday. The staff is super friendly and very aware of all the people around them. Guards pay attention while still saying hi to everyone. All in all a great park. It is small but often crowded. Best deal is the twilight time from 5-7pm, for half off. All the staff from 10am to 12noon on July 22, 2021 did an excellent job and I hope management recognizes this. read more

This small water park is fabulous! Perfect place to go if the kids are bored with the beach and pool. The tubes are fast for the bigger kids and the channel slides are perfect for the younger kids. The staff was friendly and the lifeguards were fantastic. All the beach chairs and tables were taken so I had set our group in a shady spot behind the main building and someone came around and brought us chairs. So incredibly nice and thoughtful. We stopped in at Salty Pirate water park near the end of their season. Great place for kids (under 12). The older kids were bored after a few slides. Only 3 Boggan slides, 3 tube slides and a kiddie play area. Great presence of lifeguards. At $20 a day it's a bit expensive, especially since you aren't likely to stay the whole day. Although. They apparently offer a half price for the last two hours of the day. Fun for a few hours of play for the youngers, they loved it! read more

It was a fun experience. I thought that the water slides were fun, the wait was long to go on the bigger slides which is ok. The bigger slides or the tube slide were so much fun! I would recommend the blue one for a fast ride green for a little twist and yellow for a long ride and my sister loved playing in the kiddie part! The carpet slide was also fun; not a long wait and all life guards were polite and keep everything in a orderly fashion way! I hope to come back soon! read more

So I have lived in this area for 20+ years and I've never been to this place. So I won some tickets for free admissions. So I decided to take my two youngest ages 9 and 16. We stayed for about 3 hours and they had a blast. If we didn't have other things to do we could have easily stayed all day. The price is reasonable for it being a All day pass, 10am to 7pm. You can come and go as you please as long as you keep the bracelet on. They have slides for all ages. They have a indoor snack bar and little arcades games. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of shade for those who weren't going on the slides. We will definitely be returning. read more

This place is awesome. We got the kids that traveled with us week passes. The prices are awesome! The staff is top notch and help the kids have a great, safe experience. The water park is ok i guess the only good thing is, are the water slides and I know people who work there, they tell me how rude the owners daughter is who does the managing of the place and they are firing people who are good employees. Kinda sad how they are begging for the people who they fire because they don't have enough employees. Some employees are slacking off and I don't tolerate that. What kind of business does that? Who hires people who doesn't do there job right? I don't recommend coming here if you want a bad experience. The manger I guess who's related to the owner treats everyone like crap and thinks that she's better than everyone else who works there. It's sad how the work environment is soo negative and toxic. I feel bad for my friend who works there. If you wanna work here, I suggest you not applying here if you want people who steps on you for no reason. You get fired for no reason. Some people didn't have a reason why they got fired, or they just fire you because they don't like you, or they just don't want you back because you suck at being a life guard which makes no sense what so ever. So they decided to not let you work there and get in trouble for the dumbest reasons. Some life guards who work there last year didn't do anything like 1 person who worked her but off and decided to not bring her back? I guess they don't like people who work almost everyday. They just want people who don't work at all even though they are being to put people on the schedule. Even the girl sucks at managing the schedules. She ruins people schedules and fire them. Parkings horrible , and if you don't have kids under 7, it's only worth staying an hour. Only takes cash. It's very clean& lines for slides move very fast. Prices are reasonable, all day pass is$19. An hour is $10 . And 2 hours is $16. read more

This is just a small, locally owned water slide park, but I've been coming here since I was a kid begging my parents to take me, and now my 5 year old does the same. It's truly great for kids of all ages, and while a little pricey for someone who may be looking for thrill rides, it's worth a half day away from the beach in a different environment. There are plenty of chairs and tables, and unless you go on a Saturday you should have no issue finding some shade under an umbrella or palm tree. You can bring snacks and drinks, and there's also a little cafe and arcade. Most of the lifeguards are well trained and focused on ensuring safety. The last time I went I had one that looked like she was just there to tan, but another who was amazing in the water at the bottom of the big slides. The kiddie area is awesome family fun...I've had my two month old and five year old there at the same time with plenty of fun for all. We will continue to enjoy our yearly visit during vacation to have a break from the sand! read more

I've been here once and it was very good but just a few tips a.if u go on the big slides too many times without taking breaks u will get a headache b. Another fun time was had by all. The 1/2 price option ($10) from 5PM to closing is a nice option to get some slide time in and not get dinged for $20 a kid. I can't remember where I read it, but someone was complaining about being charged admission when they are not using the slides. We did not encounter this when we went. The girl at the booth said we could come and go and there was no charge if we weren't sliding. It is great for what it is: 3 slides, 3 mat slides, and a kiddie pool. Go from 5-7 for twilight hours for half off. Parking is terrible, very shallow pools made for small children, no shade, EXTREMELY friendly and enjoyable staff. They took credit cards for entry. I'd say take young kids there during 5-7 for half off and not hot and sunny. Who ever is doing the hiring is doing a phenomenal job! read more

Great water park for a few hours of fun. I don't think you need more than the two hour deal unless you are just really trying to avoid the beach. There are 3 fast slides, 3 medium slides, and a kid zone with several fun slides and play area. The kid zone is perfect for kids under 8 who may not want to ride the faster slides again and again. We didn't go inside, but there is a snack bar and video games. You can bring in your own food and drink so I recommend you save the cash. Admission is not cheap and they do not take credit cards. Our family visits this water park every summer when we visit relatives, and every year we have a blast. It's a great place to spend the day if you need a break from the beach. Since my child is older, we usually go during twilight hours, which is half price. We still have plenty of time to spend on the 3 larger slides...lots of fun! When he was younger, we stayed all day, so he could play on the smaller slides and in the pool. He really loved it. The Water boggan is a great place to take kids! The lifeguards and owners are all very helpful and nice. It's one of the very few places in Emerald Isle left for children and if you are like me it's important to have a safe place for kids to play. My husband and I really enjoyed this water park! Would be five stars but the price of $20 a person is pretty steep to not have a pool or lazy river at all. Don't like how snack bar entrance is in the front. It should be accessible from where the lounge chair area is. They close at 5pm which is lame. If the added lighting for night time that would make it more fun. Also could use a splash pad, sprinklers on slides and a pool just to chill in. 6 water slides gets boring after a minute. read more

It's a great place to take the kids. It's small enough that you can see most of the place from one point. Letting the adults rest as the kids go on the slides. Of course the slides are fun for adults as well. They updated some of the place as well. New chairs, fence and repainted the place. We enjoy it very much. read more
