I got their bulk mail flyer regarding the damage to homes from the series of fires near Inland Empire. From start to receiving settlement check in mail was about 2-3 month time frame. Super easy. 1. Spoke to them initially about process. 2. Called me to set up appointment for inspection. 3. Last call was advisement of settlement and payout. They mailed docs with thorough explanation of settlement and how the insurance company tallied the costs. Some of these reviews I see are very unfair and should be removed by Yelp. Businesses have right to send bulk mailers to attain business and offer services to help folks. Also, having dealt with various lawyers over the years for various services, and if you are new to using a lawyer, these law firms aren't going to call you regarding every waking detail of your case. Also your case will not be identical to anyone else's hence waiting on insurance companies, inspections, and payouts can vary and take less or more time. You have to be patient too! Very unprofessional, false advertisement, would promise to fight for your case but they won't. My case took very long time and I had to call them every time to get some updates, they either wouldn't answer my calls/messages or the person whom I wanted to talk just stepped out right now was their answer . I got a letter from this firm, at first I thought it was some kind of scam ... after calling them and talking to some neighbors on Nextdoor.com I decided to give them a chance. When I called john answered the phone, he gave me some good information then he emailed me the client agreement . Once I signed and completed the document the law firm contacted me 4 days later , scheduled an appointment with me. All I had to do is open the door , suddenly after 3 weeks I get a call saying my check is ready to be picked up or delivered :-). First I got a letter from them and didn't pay much attention to it since the fire is so far from my house , once I decided to call them zori picked up the phone and explained the process to me in great detail. Once I filed the claim they sent out mike to meet with my insurance adjuster and he knew more about fire claims than the AAA adjuster that came lol. So after the Santa Clarita brush fire, my house which is located at Glendale, was filled with ash and smoke. Right after that, I started receiving letters from different law firms. The first few offices seemed so pushy and I didn't feel comfortable, but my experience was completely different when I talked to Mike from Megerdomian law office. He explained the process to me and guided me through the contract. He made me feel comfortable and re assured me that they will be doing all the negotiations and leg work for me .
