This review will focus on an order of a oven/microwave combo and their customer service. When our wall oven/microwave stopped working, we began shopping for a replacement that preferably could drop right in the existing opening without any cabinet modifications. We shopped all over Grand Rapids as well and we were surprised to find Costco had the exact model we were looking for at a dramatically lower price. In addition, delivery and installation was included. I was a little nervous ordering this way but went ahead. I placed the order and in less than a week, the oven was delivered followed by the installation a day later. Unfortunately the oven was defective so I had the option of a refund, replacement or a repair. Repairing was definitely not an option for us especially on a brand new oven and I didn't want to begin shopping all over so we opted for a replacement. Amazingly the team at Costco worked some kind of magic because the new oven was delivered and installed five days later. Costco communicated with me many times updating me during the process (shipped from manufacturer, arrived at Costco warehouse, earliest possible delivery, earliest possible installation, etc.) Really, their communications were extraordinary and over the top from what I expected from such a large organization. The installers who are independent contractors who don't work directly for Costco were also amazed as they do installations for other stores. They said a replacement usually takes much longer. I've long been a huge Costco fan. This experience made me an even bigger one.

There are people lined up through the store creating difficulty navigating the various aisles. Knowing the store well I zipped over to self checkout and was checked out quick. I felt bad for the people lined up back to the meat dept probably not knowing what they are lined up for. This is by far a 1st world problem and I'm kicking myself for even writing this review. But the reality is please do better Costco.

So this is actually about the GAS STATION HERE instead of the actual grocery store but i am just…read moregoing to write it here. -------------------------------------- This morning, I went to the gas station to fill up before I went to Work. however, my gas hatch wasn't opening and I was getting really frustrated, so I went inside to ask for help. I explained my problem very politley to the woman and she just gave me a blank stare like and said "well what do YOU suggest i do?" (WHATTT??) then She gave me a screwdriver and told me to try that. she said it could break the hatch and I was genuinely terrified. I didn't want to break my Car!! after a while with the Screwdriver, nothing was working so I went back in to tell her and she just gave me a blank stare and i was seriously holding back tears. I had to leave and she wasn't helping! she told me to try AGAIN so I went back OUT to try again and finally got it open. not once did this woman go out to help me. when I told her I got it Open, she just shrugged and didn't seem too Happy. I'm not sure if she was just having a bad morning or what but she was very mean and un-helpful. It's not that hard to just help a customer, it is your JOB, but this woman clearly didn't want to. I really hope managment sees this because from now on, I will be getting my gas elsewhere, not here. Thank you.

Target 44th St., Southwest in Wyoming. Thought I would run…read moreinto the store and get some shaving cream and I found this really cool comforter that was on sale. You don't find very many men's pattern comforters so I grabbed this one and promptly ran up to the checkout. So there are two people ahead of me in the checkout line. The first person had a cart load of groceries and of course there was something that wasn't scanning so we all waited for five minutes and nothing apparently got fixed. I finally asked the checkout person if she could call somebody else to open up another line. Another five minutes later, so this is a total of 10 minute standing in line with three people ahead of me by now there's five people behind me. Nobody else has coming up to open up any checkout lanes. Again, I asked the cashier is somebody coming only to get snapped at finally I asked for a manager and they said something about they only have so much staff and this is they're doing the best that they can why find this to be BS target can do better target has good products. Nice clean store but their customer service is very disappointing The sad thing is it doesn't ever seem to improve no matter what time of the day you're going to the store that's always gonna be a line and not enough cash register is open. So much time in lines!!! Out of all product I went to get again. Was listed in stock online but any employee was too busy to stop and help. 3 employees was all I saw, and 2 were chatting at register. Once again, management outside smoking because they were unavailable. Zero value. Store has nothing to offer you cant get 50 percent cheaper at Meijer. Unless you support the bare minimum a store could do, shop anywhere else.

Why I'm officially stopping buying Miller Amish Chicken I wanted to share a quick heads-up for…read moreanyone else who has noticed the quality of their chicken changing lately. If your chicken has been tasting weirdly stringy, chewy, or rubbery, you aren't crazy! After looking into it, I found out that Miller Poultry uses fast-growth chicken hybrids (like the Jumbo Cornish Cross). Because these birds are bred to grow their breast meat unnaturally fast, it causes genetic muscle defects known as "spaghetti meat" and "woody breast." The muscle fibers literally break down and turn into tough, fibrous connective tissue. Even though they are raised on local Amish farms without antibiotics, the fast-growth genetics ruin the quality and texture of the meat. I can't keep spending money on chicken that is completely unpalatable. From now on, I'm switching to brands that explicitly use slow-growth heritage breeds or pasture-raised chickens. Has anyone else noticed this texture issue with their chicken recently?

Deli staff has a lot of turnover and the service has been mediocre over the past eight years. However, a young woman named Max waited on me yesterday and she was phenomenal. Produce is always fresh and I love the discounted bananas. Beer and spirits are rock solid in terms of offerings and the gentleman who runs the wine/ spirit area is a gem.

They carry other store brands and products not only Hispanic centered products which is nice and gives options. Note the prices feel a little higher than when going to a larger grocery chain but that is to be expected. They have a wonderful selection of pan dulce, beans, dried chilies, fruits and vegetables. You can find all the spices you need to make your grandmas famous dishes! So many imported goods. You can also find many different cuts of meats, hot foods and cold prepared food items for easy dinner options. Overall the store was clean and very organized. Everything was nicely displayed and the aisles were spacious. Staff was kind and friendly at checkout. Parking is easy given they do have a larger parking space compared to their previous location.

I was pondering about getting churros today but at first no one was behind the counter. But one of the staff who was stocking a shelf nearby asked me if I wanted anything. I told her I am a regular and I always have to tell myself to stop myself from getting churros. She actually convinced me to get churros today haha. Just found out she drew a heart on the bag. So cute! The staff are friendly! I love this place so much. My husband too. He really misses the pumpkin seeds covered in chili powder!
