During a recent visit to this store, I received what has been absent from Customer Service. I encountered an error during a transaction at the Self Serve Aisle and to my surprise an Meijer employee named Mary C. immediately rendered the best customer care, she helped me with my transaction and explained my error. Due to Covid 19 and my household being at high risk, we chose to order our Monthly grocery list by delivery from Greenfield Meijers. The list was 100 items, and took a great amount of time to order. There were numerous items that needed substitution, or weren't available, so this generated many text over a 2 hour period. Then when the order was concluded I got a text that my order had been cancelled, check your e-mail. I phoned customer service and they speculated it could have been that my credit card bank had flagged the transaction. Instead of giving us the option of using another credit card & delivering our groceries, the Customer Service Representative said we would have to order each item again, & choose another delivery date, which I thought was most unreasonable, & a gigantic waste of time. She suggested to call your bank in advance of any order which we never had to do with any of our many similar previous orders. We happen to have a AAA credit rating and a zero balance on most cards. 99% of businesses would have afforded us the courtesy of taking another card, and or letting us phone the card location. In the past I have had my card declined at Meijer only to phone the number on the back of the card and have them say there are no red flags, or freezes on the account and that the problem must have originated at the store. As a direct result of a lack of consideration for their customers a elderly woman in her late 80's who had postponed her lunch, because she imagined her food would be delivered, along with her Ensure and Icy Hot pain spray was baffled and inconvenienced for no apparent valid reason. Instead of customers phoning there bank in advance of ordering, perhaps, the store could be more flexible, take another card or cash, or perhaps check for these mysterious red flags in advance of pulling the order, & consider their customers. read more

Lots of rude employees. Not willing to help customers. And u ask for help or for them to check a sale cause it's clearly marked and they r lazy. Sales are never marked right. Either it's on sale and it doesnt ring in the computer or they didnt take down sale. The sale for the week also doesnt start till 6 am. I tried at 10 min to 5 am to get a sale the last working self check out said that she didny want to call her manager cause shes mean and even was willing for me to walk out on sale. Or u ask about a sale and they r so rude and say that it was clearly marked. The fitting room people are also crabby and rude. read more

Let's focus on the big picture... Meijer thanks for coming to Greenfield. If not for you neither of my local Pick n Saves would have remodeled or stepped up their game. I've upgraded my one stop shopping from Walmart to Meijer, and can feel that the employees have pride in their store and their jobs. Grocery wise the bar has been raised thanks to Meijer. This store getting less than 5 stars has never been my experience in attitude, price or product. Haters gotta hate. read more

The Burleigh store is awful. The Layton store is much nicer: cleaner, better organized and the staff is trained for much better service. I have stopped shopping at Meijer because the phone app is terrible. It never works when I get to the store. I much prefer the plastic cards that so many places use. The cashiers cannot pull up anything using a phone number so you are out of luck. I find the prices for groceries i buy frequently to be lower at Walmart or Pick N Save. read more

I just started going to Meijer,and liked it until the day I picked a few groceries and used my quest card and they said it would not cover the frozen pizza..when I questioned it the manager,she was rude.so I ended up at pick n save and got the same items.with my quest.no hassle. read more

I have given this store a fair run over the past three months since it opened. The grand opening met customers with great service, but this has sadly gone down hill. I called corporate and the store director to issue a complaint regarding a 27 minute wait in the customer service line on a slow Sunday morning that was clearly understaffed. Employees seem to give the brush off when asked where to locate products. My most recent visit was met with a dirty self-checkout and an employee who was just standing there with idle hands. Sorry to say I'm no longer impressed, but the location in Wauwatosa is great! read more

I like Oak Creek store better. This location is very very convenient but twice I have purchased items that were being shown to be on sale and when I got home found out they were not. First time was pre cut and packaged fruit. Price on shelf said $3.99. Entire shelf was marked. Price on package was $7 plus. For $3.99 I'd purchase not at $7 plus. Well rang up at the $7 plus. Yesterday 3 different brands of ice tea on same display shelf marked 2 for $5. Well I bought 2 of the Arnold Palmer brand. Get home and was charged $2.79 ea. Will the difference break the bank. No. But don't group like products on same display with others if they are not all the same price. Also tried their fried chicken. Awful. All breading. Very little chicken. Yesterday my checker was great! Time before checker was so chatty she could hardly stop talking long enough for her to take the time to bag the groceries. A post script for Oak Creek. I started doing self check out because the checkers were sooooo slow. I will shop Meijer for their meat. I will continue to shop Aldi and Woodmans for everything else related to grocery items. I find Target has better prices on drug and beauty items. read more
