This is my first time at this optical store. It's located inside Meijer grocery store. It's convenient for many people to have grocery shopping along with eyes exam or glasses pick up. The parking lot is large. The store is clean and organized. It has large selection for frames and contact lenses. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We arrived at the store 40 minutes before closing time. I got an estimation price for my glasses from both our insurances. However, I found out it is better option for me to have my glasses done at Costco optical or Sam's optical. The store hours are: Monday thru Friday 11am to 7pm Saturday 10am to 4pm Sunday is close. They accepts many different insurances. I had a great experience with the staff. Words can not express enough, come to visit the optical office.

The office is super clean, bright, and has a cute, posh vibe that still feels welcoming. Bonus points for carrying Cartier glasses -- very chic. Hannah was an absolute delight: knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely personable. I was also really impressed with the technology Dr. Sayed uses. They take detailed images of your eyeball so you can actually see what's going on, which was incredibly reassuring for me after having an eye issue a few years ago. Being able to visually confirm that everything looks good gave me real peace of mind. Dr. Sayed herself was funny, knowledgeable, and made me feel good about being there and taking care of myself. The entire visit was smooth, and I was in and out in under an hour. I would absolutely recommend her.

In the past, every doctor-patient interaction has been robotic and it was such a relief to escape from that monotony. My doctors were very kind souls and helped me plenty. I was told my health results and given accurate and understandable advice. Duly also has an app where all my files are saved and I can view my test results at any time which I think is awesome. The app also has a feature that lets me talk to my doctors. Also, whenever i go out to events, it's sort of a funny coincidence that Duly sponsors so many of them. I love their helpful services and their community support. Thanks, Duly.

Sure the office and waiting room are beautiful, but that is it. Even worse, was the glaucoma "specialist", Dr Joshi, couldn't remember me from one visit to the next and constantly gave me bad information until I corrected her. After I was promised no wait, and waited 30 minutes, I decided to take my business elsewhere. When I received my chart, it was full of BAD information. There were illnesses I never had listed in history. The unforgivable is that I was diagnosed as having Glaucoma in December 2011. I received many tests, took eye drops nightly and even had a laser surgery. I met my new dr today. I do not have glaucoma.

From the start, everything was smooth and modern -- I was able to complete all paperwork online and upload records from my previous eye doctors ahead of time, making check-in effortless. Dr. Upadhyay was extremely thorough and thoughtful during my exam. She took the time to clearly explain my results, walk me through how and why my prescription has changed, and discuss my eye health in a way that was easy to understand. I never felt rushed and felt genuinely listened to. It's easy to see why she stands out. Dr. Upadhyay has advanced post-doctoral training, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO), and teaches at a local dental college -- credentials that are rare in a local practice and absolutely reflected in the quality of her care. The office is small, bright, and inviting, and the staff was kind, professional, and efficient, guiding me through each test seamlessly. They were also very transparent about insurance and costs, clearly explaining what was covered and what wasn't. The practice takes EyeMed, and everything was handled clearly and professionally. I left feeling confident, informed, and well cared for. I'm very glad I made the switch and would highly recommend Dr. Upadhyay to anyone looking for top-tier eye care.

Only one that seems to know anything does not look or talk like a human. The 'doctor' Andrea Grider who does the eye exam doesn't seem to know what she's doing. She was being rude and impatient and the prescription paper is incomplete with incorrect numbers and missing numbers in the table for OD and OS. The equipment looks outdated too. When I first called to confirm whether they accepted my vision insurance, I asked whether I should make my appointment online or with them on the phone. The woman I spoke with said she could do it. I made my appointment for 5:30 pm, and the woman said everything was set up in the system, including my insurance info. Shortly thereafter I received a text confirmation as well as an email. So far, so good. Fast forward to the day of my appointment and I received two emails - one asking me to confirm my appointment, and another asking me to fill out some paperwork online. I completed both requests in the early morning hours. Mid morning I received a call from them asking me to confirm my appointment and for my insurance information. I explained how they should already have that because I was told they set up my account during my initial call. The woman claimed there was nothing in their system for me, so I gave them my insurance information again and told her I would be there that evening at my appointment time. At 4 pm I received another call from them asking if I could come earlier, at 5 pm. I told them I could not and the girl replied, "ok, see you at 5:30 then". I arrived at 5:20 and there were three woman at the counter. One asked me if I was using vision insurance, which was quite annoying. Why did they keep asking me this but never take down my answer?!? Then some other women asked me what kind of exam I was there for. Once again, why did I fill out the form online if they weren't going to retain that information? I informed her that I was there for a glasses exam and also needed to have my eyes dilated. This woman SIGHED at me and said they probably won't have time to do that because it takes an hour. (Note: I had noticed when I came in the hours posted on the door say they are only open until 6 pm despite the website saying 7 pm). I got fed up, told them to cancel my appointment, and left. They are ridiculously incompetent! I told the initial lady I spoke with when making my appointment that I needed my eyes dilated, and I mentioned it again that morning on the form I filled out, so if they can't do an eye dilation at 5:30 pm why did no one mention that? And if that is why the person was asking me to come in early, why didn't they explain this when I said I couldn't make it at 5 pm so I could reschedule for a different day? Absolutely ridiculous! I will be going elsewhere for my vision needs.
