This happened over a month ago... woman manager there needs some further instruction on listening, hearing, understanding customers when there is a problem or misunderstanding. her apologies also need some touchups. She needs to understand she is dealing with ill people sometimes under great distress for themselves or loved ones. She can learn that true kindness and caring goes a long long way towards making someone's day easier or distressful. After 3 wasted trips my frustration level was over my red line. I have had so many bad experiences with Meghan, an employee, who always screams at me..."I know who you are". Very rude, especially when she screams so loudly. I have owned a legal office my entire lifetime and perhaps she was a Defendant in one of our cases. When I called to inquire why she always screamed the same thing at me, three different male employees got on the phone and did a great job in covering up for Meghan. The supposed head of the pharmacy was on vacation. I had to call my doctor's office four times to finally get the situation straightened out....basically took my entire morning/afternoon. Count your pills! Learned a hard lesson to check my pill count. Recently had a 90 pill refill completed, but after a month realized l was running out if pills. (l will skip one once in a while) When l called Meijer they said their checks are foolproof and that l received the 90 pills. If l did, why am l out after a month? ! Must be sleep pill taking or something. My scripts will be fill elsewhere from now on. Too bad because l like their counter techs. read more

I always call first to make sure my prescriptions are ready for pickup. I arrived 10mins after they told me my prescriptions would be ready. The woman at the window loudly yelled over the speaker that my prescriptions were canceled by my doctor. I said I had just called and verified my prescriptions we're ready for pickup. She then proceeded to chastise me and yelled over the speaker my dosages and asked if they had been canceled. My doctor had increased my dose. Rather than admit she made an error she continued to patronize me and never apologized for her mistake, rudeness or scaring me with false information. I'm going to be filling my prescriptions elsewhere. read more

I would give zero stars, except for one young man and one young woman there who were both kind each time they helped me. Were it not for this young man, I would have never been told why my dentist had to send my rx four times, three of which they claimed were never sent to them. At this point I had an abscessed tooth that was very painful. After three tries and 5 whole hours of this ridiculous nonsense, my dentist finally called and had to speak to them and give the rx that way. The final time I called, the nice young man told me that their system had been up and down ALL DAY LONG. Which no one on the phone bothered to mention to me in my several calls previous. Instead they insisted that my dentist had never sent it and never offered that as an explanation or bothered to tell me she would need to call it in. When I got to the pharmacy, I got the woman I dreaded getting every single time. She was always unkind, uncaring and deliberately rude. I asked why no one told me that their system was down all day, and instead of simply being nice and apologizing for the trouble caused by them, she was very rude, did not care even the slightest bit (as always) and said that they wouldn't have known until they rang it up - meaning she hadn't cared to even listen to what I was saying, let alone caring about the 6 hours it took to get it. I explained all of this to the store manager, who was incredibly kind. However when I asked Walmart to transfer my entire prescription file to them, Meijer pharmacy deliberately held it up for SIX DAYS. Six days I had to go without my RA medication, in a great deal of pain because of their rudeness and childishness. I would recommend to anyone thinking of using their pharmacy that they don't. They have some nice people, but they can't save you from the others. If you don't mind rudeness and unfilled prescriptions and going without your medication for a week while they hold onto it, they by all means, go right ahead. read more

My prescriptions are cheaper and I get them timely. Staff is courteous and helpful. I have had no negative issues with them.

Worse pharmacy ever. Understandably they are short staffed, still it very important to start your prescriptions. I had dental surgery and my provider called in Rx and left a detail message on vm. When, I arrived at pharmacy 4 hours later, no one had listen to messages. They said if we don't call you in two hours then call us. Really, this is the beginning of fiasco. Typically we have prescriptions filled at other pharmacies, but when our dog needs medications we turn to Meijer. Lately our dog, Franks, has needed a crazy number of eye drops and oral steroids. From the initial check in process, to the ordering process, all the way to the paying and check out, Meijer pharmacy does a really solid job. The pharmacists and techs have all been very kind and understanding. As a bonus Meijer has really great hours on the weekend and a drive through. They have these handy alerts that notify you either through a phone call or text message if your medications are back ordered, ready to be picked up, or if there are questions. If you are in the store shopping, these alerts are super. As pet medications don't fall under insurance it's also nice to have the mperks program when we check out. After our first prescription we got $20 back! After five scripts we get more rewards. Franks is a member of our family, so when the vet says he needs medications, we pay for the medications, no matter what the cost, but it's nice to know there is a little reward built in along with a whole lot of convenience. read more

Great, polite service. Their free antibiotic program is excellent. The most commonly prescribed antibiotics are free to all, even without insurance. There was only a 40 minute turn around despite being very busy. Great experience, will shop again. read more
