Now that it's built out and new, I really have no negatives as a customer. Everyone at the pharmacy has been attentive and helpful. I would t say anyone is over-the-top friendly, but that is almost never my expectation. They've always been professional and kind enough when I pick up prescriptions inside or at the drive-thru pickup window. I hope this continues to be my experience and I don't have to update with a less-than review!

This is a very busy pharmacy in a densely populated neighborhood. Staff is often harried, "on the…read morerun," and "in the weeds." Customer service reflects this. If everything runs smoothly and you're the sort who's not looking for a friendly face, there's no problem. I ordered my pictures around 7 AM online and requested to pick them up at this location. It stated on my email that the photos would be ready by 10 AM. On top of that I was being the best Coupon Carla I could be and had a 50% coupon applied to my order. SCORE! By 9 AM I received an email stating they were ready for pickup. Way quicker than I anticipated. I walked into the store and a young guy working at the register cheerfully said "Hi, welcome to Walgreens". I walked over to the photo counter, pressed the help button and a minute later a girl came out of the double doors, asked for my last name and pulled my order. I paid with a card and was on my way. Pros: -Can order pictures online -Can pickup said pictures in the store -Ability to apply a coupon to your photo order -Quick and easy -Customer Service was friendly and efficient Cons: -Me waiting until the week of Father's Day to put together a gift. I know it was anxiety because it went away as soon as she calmed down. The pharmacist directed me to call her pediatrician to ensure it would be OK for her to still receive her 2nd dose there. Talked to her pediatrician, and he said it would be fine because she didn't have any breathing problems and it was likely anxiety. Called the pharmacy to confirm her pediatrician was fine with her getting her 2nd dose from the pharmacy. Arrived at pharmacy for the appt and was told they couldn't give it because she had an allergic reaction. Nobody told me that. They made it even worse by saying she could have an even worse reaction from the 2nd dose in front of her. I don't know if they were trying to make me feel like a bad parent, but if my doctor says it's OK, it's OK. Called my pediatrician who offered to speak with the pharmacist himself, and they still refused. No available appts anywhere, so now we have to wait another week for the second dose. I am beyond angry about the lack of communication. I could've made an appt elsewhere had I known they were going to do this. Below is proof of a text confirming the appt so again no communication they weren't going to give it. Why would they be OK with giving them at all if they are so concerned about allergic reactions. It was obvious there was no protocol of what to do should it happen. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

I find that Walgreens is SDM, but on an entirely kicked-up level. I tend to hit Walgreens to get candy and chocolate to bring home with me. It's perfect to share with colleagues and friends. I got white chocolate Reese's peanut butter cups. There was a sale happening where you can get two bags for $3. I got four bags. Two were these cups. The other two were assorted Hershey's chocolates. Let's just say that my team at work inhaled both bags that I had brought in (the cups and the assorted chocolates). They were that yummy. I loved the section of books that featured the history of Columbus. I stood there reading one of them. Perhaps I should have bought it. It was a good read. Ever since my trip to Charlotte and visiting a Walgreens there, I have a thing for Squishmallows. I saw the cutest festive penguin one that you can hook to your purse and got it. It was only $3. I got to the register to pay. I got a nice guy helping me with my purchases. I got my Walgreens rewards card scanned, paid with a credit card, and walked out happy with my purchases. This Walgreens has everything. I marvelled at the decent beer varieties. There's Shiner Bock, which I first consumed in Dallas roughly a decade ago. I also loved the Atari gaming console. I checked online and prices here were very reasonable. They have an app for orders and refills. Also plenty of social media. Looking ahead is the standard pharmacy counter, and to your right is a gender neutral bathroom. Fast service. Grab n go. Snag a treat for you and your pet on your way out. So the dog is going to need this med for the rest of her life, so I anticipate more visits. Hey I just revisited. My vet called in the refill. My card was still on file, so grab n go just went faster. Now I have the app to refill on my own. I'm getting so close to just driving by and having them throw it in the passenger window. LOL
