The cracks could've possibly been from potholes, curbs, etc. What I liked about that interaction is that they were completely honest with me. I've had my car there 3 times for service since they first opened their doors a few months ago. In…read moreeach case, I was totally satisfied with the quality of the work done. The first time, I had a coolant leak and the mechanic actually SHOWED me where it was leaking. Actually seeing the problem with my own eyes when the car was on the lift immediately made me feel that they can be trusted. They fixed that problem, did some other overdue maintenance work, and the car's been running much better now, zero problems. The only minor problem I had was that I asked for the parts to be returned to me, and they weren't. That really wasn't a big deal since my driveway isn't full of coolant spots any more. I thought the price for this repair was entirely fair. The second time was a problem that couldn't be duplicated when I was driving it while the tech was in the car with me. Ah well... They didn't charge me for that visit. The most recent visit was exceptional. I managed to get the end of a gas funnel stuck in the neck of my gas tank. This caused all kinds of problems when I'd fill up with gas at Kwik Trip. I tried to fish it out myself, but couldn't. I brought it to the dealership, and they told me they couldn't see it or get it out after allegedly scoping it out. The dealership charged me for that visit. I know they have bills to pay, so I was OK with that. On a whim, I brought it to the new Meineke (formerly Pope Autoworx). I told them what happened and that I wanted them to try to get it out, but I'd pay for an hour of time, no matter what. I told them that I wanted to save the part so I could see it. Well... THEY GOT IT OUT!!!!! The dedication, time and effort that they showed me in actually FIXING this problem impressed the hell out of me. I do my own oil changes and brake jobs, but for nearly everything else, this Meineke garage will be my first call.

This time I needed a new tire for one that had sidewall damage. It's a special tire, but they were able to locate one and have it delivered and installed in a couple of days. When picking it up, I was running late and they said, "No worries, we'll be around a little longer -- stop by as soon as you can." I really appreciate their focus on the customer, setting realistic expectations, and getting the work done as promised. They gave me a quote, but could not do the work that day. I called a few garages I've used in the past and Lincoln Auto Service, which was a new repair shop I learned about earlier this year. Lincoln Auto Service won the job. I drove past it on the day of my appointment, even though I had the address because I didn't see their sign above the garage door and didn't know they shared the building with the gas station. Now you know, too. While I waited, I walked around the neighborhood and had lunch at the gyro stand across the street. There is also a bar next door, if you prefer to wait there. The work was completed a half hour earlier than quoted, and they saved me $150-$200 compared to the other quotes I received. It's been a few months, and I've had no issues or concerns. I'll be using Lincoln Auto Service and Tires for any of their other services that my car needs, and I recommend them!

But when it was time to pay, the total was about $200 more than Costco. Then I was told, "I thought I told you that was just the tire price." That felt very misleading. Got out the car and didn't see a flat and my tire pressure light was not on. This flapping sound became a little louder the closer I got to her drop off point and now I'm nervous. Checked again no flat so after I dropped my passenger off I went to my job blocks away to grab my laptop and contact someone for a ride as I still don't see what's going on. I called my friend about it and she advised to contact Luckey's because she was told from a friend of hers they are super reasonable and to have them inspect the issue. I called them to explain the issue they informed me that they can take a look in the morning as they are closing in 45 minutes. I safely got my car up there and they gave me a call the very next morning around 8:15 and informed me they were able to locate the issue right away. I had a long bolt of some sort in the tire and the sound I was hearing was this little bugger rubbing against the tire well. They were able to get the tired replaced with a new and got my car that same day! Not only was Kurt and Bryan professional and kind, they were able to save me a little money with my issue. A new tire, labor and tax it came to $125 and you can't beat that with a stick. Because of their price and service, I have a new go to for my car needs and love the fact they're local.
