The first time, I had a coolant leak and the mechanic actually SHOWED me where it was leaking. Actually seeing the problem with my own eyes when the car was on the lift immediately made me feel that they can be trusted. They fixed that problem, did some other overdue maintenance work, and the car's been running much better now, zero problems. The only minor problem I had was that I asked for the parts to be returned to me, and they weren't. That really wasn't a big deal since my driveway isn't full of coolant spots any more. I thought the price for this repair was entirely fair. The second time was a problem that couldn't be duplicated when I was driving it while the tech was in the car with me. Ah well... They didn't charge me for that visit. The most recent visit was exceptional. I managed to get the end of a gas funnel stuck in the neck of my gas tank. This caused all kinds of problems when I'd fill up with gas at Kwik Trip. I tried to fish it out myself, but couldn't. I brought it to the dealership, and they told me they couldn't see it or get it out after allegedly scoping it out. The dealership charged me for that visit. I know they have bills to pay, so I was OK with that. On a whim, I brought it to the new Meineke (formerly Pope Autoworx). I told them what happened and that I wanted them to try to get it out, but I'd pay for an hour of time, no matter what. I told them that I wanted to save the part so I could see it. Well... THEY GOT IT OUT!!!!! The dedication, time and effort that they showed me in actually FIXING this problem impressed the hell out of me. I do my own oil changes and brake jobs, but for nearly everything else, this Meineke garage will be my first call.

Now you know, too. While I waited, I walked around the neighborhood and had lunch at the gyro stand across the street. There is also a bar next door, if you prefer to wait there. The work was completed a half hour earlier than quoted, and they saved me $150-$200 compared to the other quotes I received. It's been a few months, and I've had no issues or concerns. I'll be using Lincoln Auto Service and Tires for any of their other services that my car needs, and I recommend them!

But they were all either too busy or didn't have the matching tire in stock. Finally, I called this Midas in West Allis, and the technician told me to bring the car over. When I arrived about 20 minutes later, they were waiting for me. They quickly checked the tire to confirm its specs, and they had the new tire installed within an hour. I was so impressed with their attentive customer service that I went ahead and did an oil change there too and canceled my appointment at my regular Midas. The shop was busy. There were many other customers there. I could tell a lot of them are regulars, and I can see why. This place does good work at a fair price, and they genuinely care about their customers.
