I drive for Uber and on Tuesday this week as I was driving my passenger to her destination to the Marquette campus, 2 minutes into our ride I noticed a flapping sound that sounded like I had a flat. Got out the car and didn't see a flat and my tire pressure light was not on. This flapping sound became a little louder the closer I got to her drop off point and now I'm nervous. Checked again no flat so after I dropped my passenger off I went to my job blocks away to grab my laptop and contact someone for a ride as I still don't see what's going on. I called my friend about it and she advised to contact Luckey's because she was told from a friend of hers they are super reasonable and to have them inspect the issue. I called them to explain the issue they informed me that they can take a look in the morning as they are closing in 45 minutes. I safely got my car up there and they gave me a call the very next morning around 8:15 and informed me they were able to locate the issue right away. I had a long bolt of some sort in the tire and the sound I was hearing was this little bugger rubbing against the tire well. They were able to get the tired replaced with a new and got my car that same day! Not only was Kurt and Bryan professional and kind, they were able to save me a little money with my issue. A new tire, labor and tax it came to $125 and you can't beat that with a stick. Because of their price and service, I have a new go to for my car needs and love the fact they're local. I was visiting friends in Milwaukee and noticed my '06 Grand Caravan was leaking oil. Every other place I called said they couldn't look at it for a week. They returned my car with scratches and dings that were not there before and they covered them (very poorly) with paint marker. Maybe that's why you didnt charge me when you said I should take it to the dealership. Waste of time and you damaged my car! read more

Great service, staff was very helpful. I had to get a tire replaced and they had it available at an affordable price, cheaper than other big chain shops. The replacement took less than ten minutes once they had the tire available a few hours after I came in to have the tire checked. Make sure to plan ahead when getting your car taken in for other car stuff, you would plan to leave the car for the day so plan for transportation if you need to be elsewhere. read more

This place is on point, and not looking to try to sell you extra stuff. Ex. I recently went in to get my back 2 tires changed, they called me back saying definitely want the back 2 changed and told me how much it'll be labor included- I proceed to ask if i should get the front 2 tires as well and they told me they both still have solid tread and don't need to be replaced. There's several instances where I always think I'm going here and it's going to cost $500-$600 and the total comes out to less than $200. SUPER fair pricing and always great service. read more

Honest business. Needed a good reliable garage for my 2015 Hyundai Azera. Mechanic communicated with me while they worked on my vehicle and price was as quoted and reasonable - no surprises. Two weeks later my girlfriend's Honda Civic started to make grinding noises when turning the steering wheel when backing up. We expected the worst and were pleasantly surprised when it was a minor brake adjust for $80. I can't imagine what a dealership would've quoted. Came to Luckey's and at first they quoted me $750, better than $1200. When the job got finished ended up paying $650. After having my tire blow out on the highway on my way to work, I decided to find the nearest tire shop that would be able to service me. Found one not too far, drove over and waited outside for 45 minutes until they were able to open at 8am. Two other cars arrived as well, when we entered he informed us that it would be an hour because he had two waiter ahead of us even though we were there first and he saw us outside waiting the WHOLE TIME. Couldn't really elaborate on what waiters were, told me I could leave my car. I just chuckled asked if he knew any places near by, OF course he insured me there were no other places but by my surprise I was able to find a place not far to better service my needs. Would not recommend to anyone not of Caucasian race AT ALL! read more

We live out of State and my wife was in town on business when her tire pressure light came on. She took it in during her lunch break, a gentleman inspected the low tire right away. Never have I been so pissed off at the mechanic!! I took my car in to have the heater blower resistor looked at. I had no heat and I needed to get fixed before winter. Unfortunately when they called me for the price that it was going to cost to get a plug and the resistor fixed and I was unable to fork over the money (420.00) ,so I just got an oil change and got the car back home. LATER.. I took it to a backyard mechanic whose father IS a mechanic and ask him to take a look at it he found out that the 4 plug on top of the resistor was a little melted and I need a new one, We cleaned the plug and started up the car and I had heat! He figured out after taking off the resistor that it wasn't busted or broken because if it was broken I would never have gotten heat on either of the fan settings... Not only was I almost duped but we also figured out I had a small short in the wire that made the car turn off and on when we were screwing around with the plug and resistor. I have gone to Luckys for small odds and ends jobs for the past few years and now it makes me wonder how many times they took advantage of me and didn't do an honest job. So now I'm going to go buy the plug for $55, I have heat now but just to be on the safe side I better to get a new plug. If I could give them no stars I would! read more

I've taken both of my cars (and both of the cars we owned prior) to Luckey's for maintenance. I've seen no reason to believe that they are doing anything but great stuff. They are friendly on the phone and in person. They've been up front with costs and the amount of time it will take. They've told me on occasion that something is coming up, but that it's not necessary yet. I've even had them make minor repairs that they didn't charge me anything for. Went to Luckey's to have a flat tire fixed. I was told that the tire was irrepairable because I have driven it about 2 miles with the flat(it was a 6 months old Goodyear tire...fairly new). The Toyota Sienna that I have purchased months ago didnt have the spare tire,(I just found that out now) so I had no choice but to buy a different tire to replace the irrepairable flat tire. Initially, the man who helped me said that he doesn't have the size that I have, P215 65R16...but I told him that I do not have a spare tire and if he could find a spare tire in his shop. He finally found a tire, Doral P215 65R16 SDL 65A...He said it was a display and he told me that it cost $97 including the mounting/installation. the bill came to $102.43. The service was fine, the problem that I have was that when I checked the tire online...the tire was selling for $46-60 brand new. SO, even if I have bought the tire for $60...it cost me about $42.00 for installation and tax....which I feel is overpriced. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are looking for a reasonable price for your service. read more
