This is a very small shop, but the owner has some fabulous jewelry in here for sale and he really knows what he's doing. He recommended that I replace the entire head that holds the diamond, rather than just try to repair the one prong. He showed me how the prongs had been repaired multiple times and were not strong enough to hold a 3 carat diamond safely. So we went ahead and replaced the whole head and I am so glad that I took his advice. The new head is much stronger and more substantive than the old head and I feel like my Diamond is really safe now. He did a nice nice job. It looks great.

The request for a return was basically ignored but I was told that they usually give an appraisal letter when someone purchases a piece from them. I was emailed an appraisal letter. They said they would send one in the mail along with a small gift, which happened to be the same 2 pairs of tiny earrings Alex gave to me in the store. This is part of the phone message I received: "...to check with you because we did send the physical appraisal as you requested and also send you a nice gift in it as well. So if you can please reach back to me or just take down that review, I would really appreciate that." I would appreciate a refund. Oh well, neither one of us got what we wanted.
