I have visited several times and selection at this location isn't the best- no outrageous finds here. Strangely enough, the nearest other World Mission Thrift store is MUCH better. It is my favorite thrift store for clothing in the Wyoming/ Grandville area! It is located on Burlingame just North of 28th St. This one has way more clothing on the floor and offers 2 colors of tags half off each day! Not sure why the location listed for this review does not do this, since they are both World Mission Thrift stores. That said, if you are looking for good clothing finds, drive down to the other location, as it is much better and you will find better deals if you look.

It is well organized but nowhere near as nice as the location in Comstock Park (which isn't on Yelp for some reason, but it's at west of Alpine & 4 Mile. They do have sales just like the others, not sure about daily but the last Tuesday of every month, everything is half off. This applies to the Comstock Park location as well; not sure about Burlingame. Books are VERY well organized, but if you're looking for a more current selection check out the CP location (again, sorry) -- it's set up like a bookstore and is amazing.

Pros: A very easy to understand layout (Men's and Children's clothing on the left, Women's seasonal clothing in the middle, and women's clothing on the right). They are very good at stocking for the seasons. Great selection of home supplies, decor, and electronics. Very good selection of records, CDS, and DVDs. Clean store. Very nice and helpful staff members, they are very willing to help answer questions, and if they are unaware of an answer, they are not afraid of asking their manager without needing to ask them. There are always new items coming out during the day. Great pricing The pricing: (Applicable as of 2026) The clothing is priced using solid universal prices (e.g. Men's pullovers: $7.99), and they are clearly labelled on the ends of each rack. Electronics are well priced ranging from ~$4.99 - ~$7.99 for keyboards, radios, alarm clocks, phone cases, boomboxes, and CD Players. For Speakers, you should expect to pay ~$7.99 - $10.99 for desk speakers, and ~$40 and up for stereo system speakers and higher end/vintage systems. AMAZING PRICES FOR PHYSICAL MEDIA! A part that could go either way: There is a very fast turnover for items in this store, which is both positive, as if you don't find anything one day, there is a very good chance if you come back the next day you will find something; however, it is also negative if you leave something to think about if you want it. For me, it is a positive because I enjoy going thrifting very often. On average, clothing prices range from $5-$8. Obviously, don't buy the Walmart brands because they aren't worth it. But, this location is in a wealthier area, and there are some real gems to be had for a low price. This is one of their larger stores. But, it's in a more popular location, so it harder for me to find deals. This is one of my four favorite local GW locations. I'd rank it #2. PRO TIP: Sign up for texting Tuesday AND email. They are separate, and send out different coupon offers.
