Arrived early as a first time customer to Honor Health in Anthem, AZ. Was called back to the exam…read moreroom - Nurse (I think) started asking me some questions, then remembered we walked past the scales without stopping. Had to go back out to get weighed. Took my blood pressure, stating that is strange, I do not get a reading. Went and got a 2nd machine and that reading was really high. Doctor buzzed in the room, looked at my nose (wanted a mole checked), then said the real problem is your blood pressure. Did not ask me any questions, prescribed meds and had me take a ECG. Guess what, 1st machine could not get a good reading. Brought in 2nd machine and it did not give a good reading, but a 2nd doctor (Dr. Dill, the 1st doctor was busy) came in and said it is really not give a conclusive reading, but wanted another blood pressure reading, and it came out even higher. I overheard them talking and he was going to send me directly to an emergency room. I told him no, I was going to get the lab work and go home. Was met again by the nurse in the waiting room and told I had to sign a form refusing care. I refused that, and she pushed telling me I had to. Finally put an X on the paper. The 2nd doctor came back out to the waiting room to talk to me, then asked that we go back to the exam room so he could talk to me more. Went back to the hallway and I said he needed to hear me out first. I said the first blood pressure machine didn't work, the 2nd read high. The first ECG machine didn't work, the 2nd was inconclusive; why would I trust anything they were doing and saying. He then said, that is why I want to take your blood pressure manually, to see if it is really high. No discussions, not even ask me if I ate or drank coffee this morning, just assumptions. The lets do it manually to see if it is true. Longer story short - I left, no lab work or manual test. Went to a 2nd place only to get a much much lower reading on my blood pressure. Will never use Honor Health again.

The office is clean, friendly, professional AND they are able to take your labs right there in the office! No need to go off-site. Although I live in DC, I fly back annually for my appointment with Dr. Stephen Williams. No one can match this physician's care. You will not be disappointed!

At HonorHealth, Williams was a fair doctor, listened, seemed to care, no real bedside manner though. After the move, even worse. He didn't listen to either of us, often had to ask what was in our medical files (um, why don't YOU look, since you're the doctor), and usually wanted to rush us out. Often we'd have to say, yes, there's more we came here for. Doesn't seem a very good doc anymore.

They were great in the beginning, but then something went wrong. They NEVER return calls and only phone number is answered by a call center in India. There's only one number to reach them. I called for an urgent appointment and spoke to a man. He asked me for reason I wanted to see my Doctor. I told him it was a personal urgent female matter. He kept pressing me for a reason. I told him that I wanted to speak to a medical professional and not a call center. He told me that if I didn't tell him what the personal female matter was he would not put me through and could only leave a message. (Like he was ever planning to put me through!) A perfect stranger at a call center demanded personal medical information before HE made a healthcare decision for me! You could tell by the sound of his voice that he was enjoying this. I was in severe pain and at my wits end. I asked him for the soonest appointment and he CHUCKLED (yes! he CHUCKLED!) and said sure, The soonest we have is September 25! This was the beginning of July! I couldn't take it anymore so I hung up. I felt powerless, humiliated and in pain. When I called back a couple of days later I was told that I could get a video appointment with my doctor the beginning of August so I jumped on it. The call was scheduled at 11:40 AM. No one had called me by noon so I called the office. The nurse informed me that she was just about to call me and wanted intake information. I gave her the info and she said he was running late but he would be right with me. I waited on the line for over an hour. I finally got to talk to him at 1:10 PM. This company's negligence has caused me a great deal of physical and psychological pain. My physical pain and symptoms kept increasing & now it's too late! I visited ER twice and I am looking at surgery next week This would've all been prevented if I would've Gotten a chance to speak to my doctor or his staff. This is inexcusable behavior. It is not the doctors fault. It's Village medical's fault. They are owned by Walgreens and are really struggling financially. They're trying to sell these clinics off. There is a substantial language and cultural difference between the US & India but never took this under consideration, just saving money. the calls are answered by both men and women. Most of the time when I call I get man. It is Very hard to understand the people at the call center. If you call and ask a question they will put you on hold and tell you that they will call the office. When they come back on the line they give you an answer that had nothing to do with your original question. When I informed him of that he said he really didn't understand my question and would leave a message. Never got a call back. This could have been avoided if I would've just been given access to speak to my doctor or one of his nurses. It's all about the money here. It's not about the patients. I know I'm not the only one this has happened to. Check their reviews on Yelp, & Instagram. They are HURTING people!!!!! Shame on you Village Medical!

She was extremely rude and argued with me over my own medical condition even though she stated she did not have my records to go off of. She claimed that the procedure that I didn't want to get done wasn't that bad and that it's not that big of a deal. My first experience at this honor health and I will not be returnin, I don't know about the other providers there but at least for her I don't recommend.

So my appointment was only for ten minutes. What a joke this was going to my primary doctor. I think I find another doctor that wants to meet me for more then 10 minutes especially for the first visit.
