Just had my car serviced for the first time there for several recalls. They really tried hard to accommodate with a loaner car and to squeeze me in before the holiday . Everyone was very friendly and professional and had me out of the door in time to make it to work when I dropped it off. There was a mixup with my contact number but they were able to reach me luckily and even delivered my car back to me at work on Christmas eve after fixing a couple of other things that they had found that were causing problems . I dealt with Field's BMW for the last 2 years. The treatment was so poor I opted for a different vehicle manufacturer. When it came to my end of lease return, I was terrified of dealing with them so I talked to an amazing female, Rachel, to handle it. She was a former advisor who changed carlines and roles. She was extremely accommodating and very professional. I also had the luxury of meeting Sean, the general manager. Everyone I crossed paths with was very polite. My biggest regret is that I already purchased another car due to the poor treatment at Fields. However, I will be back in a year or 2 when my other lease is up. read more

Truly awful experiences with both, sales and service staff. Sales staff could be best described as condescending. When the car was brought in for service, the service took 3 hours longer than stated - no explanation was provided for the delay. When I tried to inquire about the delay, the service manager became rude and continued to offer no explanation for the delay. She stated she would call back with an explanation - she never contacted me again. This is the opposite of my experience at other bmw dealers (and for that matter any other luxury auto dealer). I brought my BMW X 3 for an oil change, This was the first oil change I had to pay for as all previous oil changes were paid for BMW. I checked on all the invoices and when BMW is charged for the oil changes no shop supplies are added. However when the customer pays they added $30.00 in shop supplies. When they bill BMW they use shop supplies but do not charge BMW for shop supplies. However it is a ripoff to charge the customer shop supplies for doing the same job. It is just picking the customers wallet for extra charges.No more oil changes will be done at this dealership. read more

Purchased a used VW Passat. Sales person said car was inspected, and everything was great. Took the car to my local garage for an oil change a week later and they told me the rear brake rotors were severely rusted. Had the pads and rotors replaced. $300. ! A week later all the warning lights came on the dash. Took the car to my local VW dealer. They replaced rear wheel bearing, speed sensor etc. All due to severe rust problems. The car is a 2015 with 23,000 miles on it. I believe Melbourne BMW thought more of profit then selling a good used car. NEVER AGAIN read more

Bought a new BMW from this dealership. Beautiful car and we love it. But the Salesmen had an attitude even when not trying to negotiate price. But what was worse was their service department. It took months before they able to fix a simple problem. Once the problem was fixed, there was residual damage that they never fixed. No follow-up at all was disappointing. I finally just gave up. Took my car in because it would not start. Dripped it off Sunday night and they had it first thing Monday morning. They at first gave me a quote for new battery - somehow the person that wrote up the order thought that was what I wanted. In the end it required a new starter (over ($1000!) and it took the three days to do it. I finally got the car back late Wednesday. Every time I called asking status someone else would speak with me and when I called Saturday the service manager never called me back. I had a pre inspection on my 3 yr lease end today for a 2015 BMW 428i. Dustin, the inspector said I needed 3 new run flat tires at the cost of $900! The runflat tires that BMW is trying to charge me at $300 per tire at lease end should have a 60k mile wear warranty on them. This car had 30k! Im a woman, moderate driver and not in the habit of spinning tires, lol! These run flats are known to wear very uneven, predominantly on the sidewall eventhough rotations were done (or so they claim) by BMW during service intervals. Toyota and Honda were involved in a mass suit last year that paid back owners/lessees the excessive costs and wear on run flat tires. I had 4 tire incidents during the 3 years and had to buy 2 new tires already. I will dispute the lease end charge. Car had no dents, dings, interior issues, was clean inside and out. I am disappointed, yes a dealer can insist, but I just turned a VW GTI in next door to them that I leased at the same time for my son (same dealership) and they were far more lenient plus I had a really nice guy inspecting it. Dustin is the weak handshake nitpicker you dont want at the end of your lease. I would lease elsewhere next time. read more

Hello Yelp Bought 2017 BMW X3 on July 20 2017 form BMW in Melbourne Florida and great experience with salesman, but Finance Mgr. needs some training on how not to upset customers and to honor his word to what was communicated. Great that both my wife and I were present, Finance Manager recommended to add all the insurance at signing since they are all cancelable and very difficult to add later to the Financing. Email was sent the next working day to cancel all the extra insurance after my wife and I felt that an extended warranty 4 years from today, it would be difficult assure that we would keep the car that long. I do have an issue that is still pending with BMW in Melbourne that is being resolved by GM Sean Dunn concerning GAP Insurance and extended warranty that was added to the purchase price of the vehicle and the BMW Financing. Emails was sent on the next business day that both insurance policies should be removed from purchase price of the vehicle. Finance Manager ignored the request and now the GM has to get involved since Finance Manager no longer works at dealership. My understanding is that Finance Mgr. no longer works there, and earns most of his commissions on these fantom insurance policies. All my issue are being resolved by Sean Dunn, the GM, and salesman knows how to treat a BMW customers and I would highly recommend him for any future BMWs. Once all my issues are resolved, I will change my review to 5 stars, no reason to blame a business if you have a rotten apple in the barrel. Stay away from This dealership!!!!!!! we all understand that BMW prices for service will be high but this is disgusting. I took my car to them two months ago when i purchased the car and had it inspected. I was told I needed some minor things done like a oil change, brakes etc. Brought my car back two months later because I am having some concerns with a leak and now am being told that I have to pay $600 for a diagnostic fee. Not one repair done and I have to pay $600?? The repairs that they are suggesting is well over 3 times the amount that the repair should cost. I wanted a inspection done so that I could get a llist of the repairs that needed to be done and I could schedule an item at a time to be done according to my budget. Now I am being told I must pay $600 for my car to be picked up without one repair done ???? I have had it compared with over 10 mechanics who are Certified to work on BMW and am being told that what they are doing is illegal. I have attempted to reach my advisor Jamison for now 2 days and have not gotten to even speak to him. I am receiving intermittent texts that are very curt. If I am to pay $600 for a repair i believe that BMW should give the me courtesy of calling me to discuss the diagnostic. I cant even reach my advisor!!!!!! I will continue to place poor reviews on this business and about my service advisor. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. I write this review as my car is still at the dealership and I await a call back from my advisor for the third day. My advisor seems not to have common courtesy in calling their customers back- but want to charge $600 for a diagnostic fee. read more

This is my experience: I have a home in Califonia and Florida and needed to purchase a car since they had what I wanted. I worked with a sale advisor to coordinate a purchase well I was in Califonia. I was able to finance the car (which hit my credit) and of course they were quick to take my money for a deposit. To my demise they sold the car right from underneath me. Now I'm trying to work with these people to get my money back. So far they have done nothing but refuse to communicate with me. When they say buyer beware this is the type of business you should be aware of. In my opinion they care nothing about the customer and only about money or they wouldn't have sold the car from underneath me. Now I don't have a car. Thanks Melbourne BMW. This dealership has gotten the worst ever. I had been getting my cars from them since 2007. I leased around 10 cars from there for me and my family and referred them lots of customers. As my current car's lease was coming to end, I asked them to get me new car. First they told me I couldn't build the car as no chassis available...... strange....BMW offers the car and allows to build your own car then how the chassis not available? Then I asked them to see if the same car available in market. They told me that none was available while my son found the exact car I wanted that was on sale by another's BMW dealership in 5 min using his cell phone!!!!!!!!!! I asked them to get me that car. It took them a week to strike a deal and they told me that my car was on the truck on a way here. I inquired few days after about the status and they told me again that my car was on the truck but it would take little longer as truck loading unloading more cars. 11 days went by. No one informed me anything. Finally I inquired again 11 days after they told me that my car was on the truck and that time I was informed that my car never got on the truck as they had issues with the other dealership. So, horrible. Very unprofessional. If I didn't inquire who knows when I was informed about the issue. I am totally in shock. I'm in limbo about getting my car. Extremely poor customer service and unprofessional conduct on their part. I won't believe the single word they say. By the way, they failed to inform me that BMW didn't have any early lease pull out program even though I told them that I wanted new one bc of that program. read more

Took car in for first oil change. This is my third experience with Melbourne BMW service, all three were bad. First was the installation of a hitch on my new X3. The car was damaged in the install. The sales manager took a photo of damage and promised to have it taken care of. 10 months later still not taken care of. Second experience was a screw in a run flat tire. They stated the tire could not be repaired and tried to sell me a new tire. I contacted Goodyear the manufacturer of the tire and the tire can be repaired. Goodyear provides a repair service bulletin outlining the procedure. Also discovered that the tire repair and or replacement if it was not able to be repaired would have been a no charge warranty item as the tire was less than 12 months. Not only did I get bad information information but they attempted to sell me a tire that should have been warranty. Third experience was for oil change and 2 minor issues. Oil was changed I guess, no dipstick on this vehicle so cant look at oil to validate. Loose fog lamp was repaired. Interior squeak in center console was stated as repaired but was not. The vehicle was returned to me with 4 spots of bird crap, oily hand prints and a ton of gravel dust on the car. Not what I expect from a luxury car line. Have owned Toyota's and Chevrolet's in past and both brands and multiple dealers in multiple states have always washed the car when in for service. Is that expecting too much? read more

An employee at the BMW dealership unplugged my BMW I3 and went on to tell me that it was more important to charge a 5-Series plug in hybrid. That would be fine and all if my car wasn't fully electric and had a gas backup but sadly I have a Bev model I3. He justified unplugging me by saying that the 5 series was E-Drive and was unable to operate without a fully charged battery. He doesn't realize that the internal combustion engine within the hybrid has the capability of charging the battery. And also is uneducated in the fact that an I3 can only go about 80 miles on a full charge where as the 5-Series can go hundreds on gasoline. I suggest the employees at this location learn the basic mechanics of how a car works because I'm a novice and evidently am more knowledgeable than the employees at this dealership. I also politely asked the receptionist why the employees are unplugging customer vehicles and she declined to say anything about the problem and didn't even apologize. I suggest you go to Coggin BMW because this place is so mismanaged and the staff are unknowledgeable and rude. read more
