Well weeks after he left, I found out that the irrigation wasn't working properly and several plants were not receiving water. Then I find out that all the Roses and other plants were just thrown in the dirt.. No fertilizer or grow mix. The lawn was not watering properly with the irrigation. This was something I told him would be a problem, but Diego said it would be ok ... He was wrong. Diego said he would come out and look at it he never did I still have several plants not receiving water the Roses all had to be replanted. I have to water several plants by hand. Also, the selection of plants he chose must have been the dregs of the nursery. most show little to no growth (possibly because no fertilizer was installed also) They are not what I asked for. I did not know a deal meant shoddy work, with no follow up. I just asked, "What it would cost to do my front lawn". I didn't ask what is the cheapest way you can do this"

After talking with other companies, Royal Tree came in significantly cheaper so they got the work! Scheduling was easy and worked well with the day I work from home. I got my invoice ahead of time (same day Victor came and quoted the work) Communication was great. When I texted, texts came back quickly. Victor paid close attention to my instructions during the estimate meeting and his team did a great job not just scalping the jacaranda but leaving some green on it so it wasn't as bare as other services have done in the past. He wanted my opinion again on one of the branches before doing the work. His team even ripped out the remaining roots of an old pomegranate tree we had removed years ago but kept coming back. When the job was done, he had me come check it all out to make sure everything met my expectations. His crew was nice enough to clear out a bunch of old fence pieces that were laying on the side yard as part of their clean up though I would say, my only note is that there were still a lot of very small branch pieces left on the front yard so a double check when cleaning up would be helpful. Finally found a tree service I will use with good work and honest prices that is local to my neighborhood. I would never use this company again! we hired their…read moreservices about three years ago to conduct a study and issue a report. With the delays of the city over the past year, the city would not accept the "aged" report and asked for a new one. When we called James and asked him to revisit the site and update the report, he claimed that it would cost about the same as the original report. Alt nothing has changed at the property, while waiting for permits from the city, James said it would take even longer to issue a report as he would have to explain any changes from the first report (although the city refused the original report and NOTHING HAS CHANGED ON THE PROPERTY) We decided to reach out to other companies for a competitive price and obtained a price for a totally new report nearly 65% of-this company's price. Now remember, there is no issue of quality of the report as both companies just issue a report on the trees on s and there is no "good" or "bad" repor and hardly any justification for the inflated price and same price for updating the report. Anyway, the conversation with James was far from "giving a dam" about a customer; we paid him over $3k for the report and will now have to pay a little over $2k for a brand new one. Either way, I would never use their services again and suggest that you do the same.
