I am one of THOSE people who are terrified of the dentist. After serious pain in my tooth, I had to go in. Isabelle (I hope I have that right) was amazing taking my xrays as I totally wouldn't shut up. The anxiety talking was at an all time high. She totally calmed me down with her patience and kindness. She made the visit a much more calm situation for me. She told me what she was doing and what they would be looking at, since I mentioned how not knowing makes me nervous (nervous-Er?). Dr. Marino seems to lead by example, as she too was warm, friendly and comforting. She referred me to a specialist as what I described wasn't back by evidence in my xrays. And she told me she didn't want there to be something deeper we weren't seeing or to do a procedure that may not be needed-although my pains fit the root canal textbook. Thankfully, she was right, I didn't need a root cana!!! Yay!!!! Anyways, from the first time I spoke with someone over the phone to make an appointment, every person I spoke, met or who worked on me, they were all so helpful, calming and reassuring. I may still be terrified of dental offices BUT if I have to go, it will continue to be at Dr. Marino's office. They are so professional at this office! Not only honest and forthright regarding their billing and insurance policies but they are just the most caring and nicest people! From the front office ladies Lindsay and Clarissa to the doctor's assistant Dee and Dr.Tran herself, they all treated me with the delicacy I need without judgment, to get me through my dental phobia and to the dental procedures I am there to accomplish. For those of you who do not to wish to read a story, I will say that I have never really enjoyed going to the dentist office, and honestly still don't. But the team here will make your visit or in my case, visits (many, many visits) as enjoyable, effortless, and efficient as possible. And for those who enjoy reading, here's my in depth review. From initial contact, Lindsay or Peng has always gotten me checked in with a smile making me feel welcomed and comfortable. Now, in their new office we've even got a huge tv to watch for the little (if any) time you'll wait. When it's time to get in the chair, the comfort doesn't end. The assistants are really kind and will help you feel even more at ease during prepping. There's a tv you can watch while your procedure is on its way. If you're going in for a cleaning the hygienists are top notch and will leave you with a smile that you're proud of. Both Dr. Golshan and Dr. Marino are very professional and hospitable. During the procedure, they'll get what ever it is that'll need to be done in a timely manner but are sure not rushing anything. They'll repeatedly ask you if youre comfortable or need a break (for the multiple times I've gone in for a 3+ hour procedure). In the chair, you'll have to try hard not to smile even if you've got 2 hands, a drill, suction, and a rubber guard in your mouth. When it comes to leaving, and you're back up front again the ladies at the front desk will do anything to keep the cost incurred to a minimum. If you've got insurance, they'll fight for every dollar that you deserve and then some. Personally, on multiple occasions when my families health insurance have denied a claim, Lindsay has gotten in contact with them and worked it all out. And for that I cannot express my appreciation, which has brought me to leaving this lengthy review. Now, a year or so later after the original consultation where Dr. Marino thoroughly examed my mouth and showed me 2 full pages of work that was needed to be done, we've FINALLY finished the procedure plan. Again, a huge thank you goes out to all of y'all on Team Marino for all you have done for me and my teeth. Y'all have been awesome. read more

I'll admit I HATE going to the dentist. So much so it kept me away for 10 years or so. I was noticing some build up and decided I needed to get over my anxiety about the dentist and do something before it gets too late. I used Yelp and then my Dental Insurance portal and it led me to Dr. Marino's office. I am so pleased I came! As expected there is quite a bit of work needed on my teeth and some damage that is irreversible. But my hygienist Kayla was AWESOME! She went over everything with me before she started and explained some of what she was going to be saying to the assistant to set up my chart. She consistently checked if I was ok and was sure to give me breaks. She gave me a good solid plan for what I need to be better at doing at home and explained how we can work on some of the issues I have and reassured me that with proper care and preventive maintenance moving forward, my teeth will be just fine! Dr. Marino actually also came in before Kayla started cleaning my teeth and welcomed me to their office, I loved that part! My exam was done by Dr. Golshan. She was very good at talking with me about what needs to be done with my teeth and was very kind. Having known Dr. Golshan prior to her becoming a dentist I knew how passionate she was while in school and it still shows! When I had initially found Dr. Marino's office I did not realize this was where Dr. Golshan worked but seeing her name as the other dentist in the office is in part what helped me feel comfortable. I had very bad experiences going to the dentist as a kid and this has hindered me from going to a dental appointments ever. Everyone is so nice and super reassuring. I would go in super nervous but the staff, dental hygienists, and Dr. Marino would reassure me and help me calm my nerves! I have super sensitive teeth and they are always so gentle and always checking in on me. I was referred to Dr. Marino by my endodontist after he finished my root canal, and I'm so glad he did. The staff at the front desk, Lindsey and Pang, are cheerful and incredibly helpful. I spoke with Lindsey the most as she found out everything there was to know from my insurance for me even without me asking. My hygienist was Jennifer, and she went over what I filled out on my patient information sheet. No other dental office has ever done that for me before! I thought those things were just a formality that nobody really pays attention to unless something urgent is listed, but Jennifer went over it all with me, double checking and triple checking to see if I had any questions about anything. After the cleaning, Dr. Marino came and saw me. She answered some more questions for me and made sure I was happy before she went to see another patient. Much better than my previous dentist who would walk out of the room while I was mid-sentence. Over all, this place is fantastic, and I very much enjoyed being with these nice folks. read more

Dr. Marino and her staff are amazing. I usually cringe when it comes to dental appointments. I have not had much of a good experience, but as soon as you walk in, there is a warm welcome. From the ladies up front to the dental assistants in the back, I felt like I was being pampered and taken care of. I have a small mouth, but during the full mouth x-rays, I did not gag or feel discomfort even once. I am glad to have found a great dentist with just as great of a staff. I went in for a scheduled cleaning today and met a newer member of the team. She was extremely kind, gentle and thorough. (Which also describes the previous hygienist there). I have been a client of Dr. Marino now for several years, but have decided to leave. The service is actually pretty good...however, I feel like I am being sold something every time I see them. They suggest fillings when I don't need fillings, X-rays when I don't need them, etc. Dr. Marino is rarely in the office, so you mostly see the assistants. I am very happy that I didn't continue my treatment here. I went to replace a broken filling in one tooth and she wanted to make 2 root canal treatments and 2 crowns!!!! Great experience during my routine cleaning visit today. The hygienist (unfortunately, I don't recall her name!) was excellent and explained to me how recent changes in my home oral hygiene technique helped improve my dental health. I received a thorough teeth cleaning and polishing with zero pain or discomfort. Dr. Sarah then made quick work of a minor adjustment on a crown that I recently gotten.
