What a darling garden space that is now (drum roll) a beer and wine garden too. Does it get any more small town beautiful than this? I think not. Been a few times to this inviting location. The garden itself is beautiful- full of plants both free range and potted. They have it all- big and small. They even sell seeds and gardening supplies. There are a ton of picnic tables outside for you to enjoy the atmosphere. Many nights (mostly weekends) there is live music. Free. Live music in a flower garden? Heck yeah. They have porta potties that are quite clean and a water station. Dogs are not allowed sadly. This is because some people did not respect the "no peeing on the plants for sale" rule. Understandable with how that could get dicey. Nobody wants a dog watered plant in their living room. I'll review the wine and beer bar in another location. For not I just want to note that it's a win- a huge selection for all and affordable prices. I got a tiny adorable wine for $5. Most beers are the same. Unheard of for this town. Woot woot. THE BEST customer service! Mellie her self called me after I left a message and she spent at least 20 minutes going through ways to help with some tough plants that are not doing well in my garden. She also is searching for a great horticulturalist within the Charlotte area that I can work with to help preserve my plants. She also gave me two other nursery and garden names within the Asheville and Weaverville location that might carry the plant I was specifically looking for because they currently did not have this plant. If I could give them 10 stars I would... I will definitely be contacting them in the future and cannot tell you how much I appreciate her expertise but even more so, her kindness and time that she spent talking me through different ideas to help get my yard back in shape.
