I took a chance on these guys and I can't be happier. I needed my wheel bearings fixed (I guess) and they were able to do it in my time frame. When they got everything apart they noticed a leak and when they called... I said here we go again... to myself. It was a small leak in my oil pan and they were able to fix it for almost nothing. They did what they said and my truck is purrring just find now. I wish I would have known about them earlier. They do my oil changes now and it's near my work and it's nice to know I've found a good, honest spot that doesn't BS me or show me shit I don't need. read more

My Chevy truck needs some serious work and I choose wisely who I bring her to. Professional and well-run business right from the first impression walking in the office. The shop area is clean, organized, well-maintained. I needed air-conditioning, steering, brakes, tune up & oil change. Also needed the coolant system, radiator worked on.. it's 110 out here in Phoenix Arizona, so staying cool is key. The mechanics were all nice guys and knowledgeable and communicative. Honest & fair, IMHO. Price was fine and I was left a happy customer with a truck running better than it has in a long time. Thanks guys! I have never experienced the level disrespect on the phone that I got with this place. I called to ask if they could press a wheel bearing on my car. The guy said, we do not except outside parts. And I said okay, that's fine. We'll could you press a bearing on my car, and before I could even get the words out of my mouth. He cut me off and said " hey son, listen. I've been doing this for 30 years I know exactly what you're trying to do. You think you can call me up and save money" i couldn't listen any longer. The guy had the nerve to call me "fool" before I hung up. This guy has no business when I comes to working with customers. I was ready to spend money and do business here. Called this place because it had good reviews only to be disrespected for absolutely no reason. The guy kept saying who is this in an annoyed and rude voice when I just wanted a quote/confirm location. He hung up on me and said he didn't want my business even though I had done nothing to aggravate him. Huge mahalo to army vet Mike M. @ Mello Motive for savn my bacn after my van's rear transmission seal blew out, spun the bushing and dumped trans fluid all over I-10 on the way to Travis AFB from Texas. He reached out to multiple contacts and found a good used tailpiece and bushing for the trans and had me back on my journey before nightfall. He even worked past closing to wash down my undercarriage and back doors/windows which were coated with leaked fluid and road grime. What are the chances of getting that type of quality service late on a Friday afternoon!!! Had a oil change and all four tires changed. Tim at the desk took very good care of me he had mechanics working on my truck within minutes. Also found small leak in a/c I was concerned about cost they found valve bad fixed it sent me on my way. I will be bring my wives vehicle in soon. I got a nail in my tire which caused a slow leak. I had just enough air to make it here. They happened to be where I needed them when I needed them. The tire could not be saved so I got a new one installed. The price was fair and the wait was not too long either. They also made sure the rest of my tires had the proper air pressure before I was on my way. I can wholeheartedly recommend Mello Motive. They never tried to sell me more than I needed and they seemed to understand that I needed service to be prompt. read more

Honest mechanics are hard to come by...at least that has been by experience in the past. I really liked that they showed me the parts and explained what was going on. I had a crack in my head gasket and was quoted almost triple the amount from another mechanic that said it needed to be replaced. Mello Motive didn't even try to sell me on that. They said they could repair it and seal it with no problem and that it was very minor they had pictures and showed me the difference. I really appreciated the education. It was very refreshing to work with an honest company that could have very easily taken my money due to my lack of car knowledge. read more

These guys are great!! I had several issues with my truck that is fresh out of warranty. I was expecting a very high repair bill. All right at Christmas time. I brought my truck in and met with Tim and Mike. They quickly diagnosed my issues and gave me a very reasonable estimate to get it all fixed. They have a very nice waiting area so I was able to relax while they quickly got to work on my truck. Not only did they finish it in a timely manner they came in UNDER what they estimated! How often does that happen?! Josh worked on my truck and was very thorough going over the repairs after the fact and recommended maintenance I should do going forward.
