    Build your own vegan pizza
    Erik A.

Went to this location and had a custom/build your own vegan pizza (portobello, peppers, and black olives). Could have used more mushrooms! But it was tasty. Very glad our server pointed out that some mushrooms were cooked in butter (good warning!) and made a note to keep butter and Parmesan off the crust (another plus). Overall friendly and customizable.

    Funky decor!

A funky little outer space/UFO joint, but I was digging the homey weirdness. THE FOOD. - Mushroom Soup | Creamy and earthy flavors. I'm a fan of this. - Holy Shiitake Pie | The white sauce is amazingly creamy and Alfredo-like. I loved the bubbled-up crust; crispy on the outside, soft & chewy inside. And although there is no meat on this pizza, the shaved parmesan and shiitake mushrooms are perfectly satisfying. Highly recommend. THE DRUNK DRINKS. - Sunset in Paradise | Sweet Bacardi coconut rum, rimmed with toasted coconut flakes, and garnished with a pineapple wedge. Tropical vibes. Loved it. - Jekyll | Subtle pineapple flavor and habanero spiced. Really hoppy. Alyssa was great at helping me figure out what to eat and even let me sample the beer before narrowing down to what I wanted. She even brought me a to go box before even asking. Awesome service and great food. Oh, and parking is easy to find. 100% coming back for another meal!

Pacific rim pizza . (Jalapeños, bacon , Canadian bacon , and pineapple. ) omg it's so good .

We always loving going here at least once while in Huntsville. It's a chill atmosphere in which you can good beer, a great pizza , and super fresh salad. The wife and I shared a large salad and had this pizza . Even had some leftovers for later . The pizza crust is really good . It's looks like it's a partial wheat but still taste like a regular crust . The service is average , the cleanliness is average, but in the 4 times I've been here I always enjoy it and will continue to go back if they continue to do a good job.

Pizza was made wrong and it got trashed where it belonged!

Please listen to customers when they order a pizza and not just make it however you want. It's super annoying!

    Crostini for bruschetta

Mellow mushroom, or just "mellow" as my husband and I fondly call it, is often hit or miss. Usually hit, but this time a definite miss. Tonight's problem started with my order. I ordered to-go in store. The waiter told me to go wait in the bar and they'd bring it out. I don't mind waiting at their bar, the have a pretty darn good house margarita. Well, I finished my margarita and waited. And waited. The bartender finally went to see if my order was ready and it was. And judging by its temperature, it had been ready for quite awhile. I got my not so hot pizza home and took a slice. We wavered from our usual Holy Shitaki and opted for their Kosmic Karma instead. It was a basic cheese pizza topped with spinach, roasted tomatoes, Roma tomatoes and feta cheese then swirled with pesto. The swirl is usually an enhancement to the mix of flavors but tonight the pesto was so thick that it completely overpowered everything else. We usually eat two slices each but the pesto was so completely overwhelming that we ate only one slice. It took us too more lunches to finish a 6 slice pie. I also ordered a half order of pretzels. Since the pretzel box was on top of the pizza box, they were almost room temp when I finally got them. By the time I got them home, they were much more chewy than they should have been. Another disappointment We were three for three tonight. I ordered bruschetta to go along with our meal. The tomato mixture was delicious but we only received four small slices of crostini - definitely not enough to scoop up the toppings. We ended up using the pretzels to finish the tomatoes. We usually have a good meal and a great pizza when we visit mellow. That's why I gave them 4 stars instead of the 2 tonight deserved. I'm glad that I know what to expect because if I didn't, after tonight's meal, I wouldn't be back.

My friend and I split a half half pizza and we each got a salad. I started with the spinach salad. There were so many dried cherries! It also had feta cheese and candied pecans. I got it with the pomegranate açaí dressing per the menu recommendation. My friend got the house side salad. She liked it. It was really good!! Then, for my half of a small pizza (2 slices), I got the cheese pizza with triple mushrooms. It was yummy! The mushrooms had a lot of flavor. I liked the red sauce too. The crust was crunchy yet thick. I wish they served it with a sharp knife versus a dull butter knife. And I would have liked more pizza versus the very wide crust. But overall really good. I would come back and order the same thing!

Their pizza is made on SOURDOUGH! Huge points there! In the back of the restaurant, there is a small library for both children and adults; as well card and board games. This was helpful for us to keep our two children entertained while the best pizza we have ever had was being prepared by none other than the Pizza Master himself, Eli! We ordered The Rocket. It was a creamy base, topped with bacon, pear, chèvre, arugula, fig spread, and then ( drum roll, please) lemons! I have never ever seen anything like it. And it was so delicious!! out of this world. Along side our pizza, I have a chicken bacon ranch salad. So fresh, so good. We were grateful to also meet the owner Heidi, who is such a sweetheart and has passion in her product. There's street parking and several parking garages within a block or two -- I used the one off Jefferson St by The Moon, but there's also one on the corner of Holmes and Greene Street. It's not a bad walk at all so don't let parking scare you! The one on Jefferson is free for 2 hours and the one off Greene is cheap and free on the weekends. Anyway, now that I'm off my parking pedestal... Razzo fills a great niche for good pizza downtown. Perhaps better than that for me, it fills the niche of "place that is actually open and serving food from 2-4 PM downtown." I'm salty because of my frustration over finding adequate late lunch spots, but sincerely, I was so happy to be able to walk in and get a bite before an appointment a few weeks ago! They have specialty pizzas that you can order in whole pies, as well as a semi-rotating selection of specialty single slices. You can always get a pepperoni or cheese slice though, which is usually what I prefer anyway. They have a really nice weekday lunch special for two slices, a soda, and a small oreo calzone for dessert. They do have some craft beers on tap, and a few other dessert and appetizer-y options. The whole pies are a little pricy, but that's because... The quality is awesome! Chewy but not doughy sourdough crust, gooey, look-at-the-pull mozzarella, a healthy drizzle of olive oil, a gorgeous subtle tomato sauce, and nicely smoky pepperoni: that's how I'd describe the slice I got when I visited. It was so good! I'd say this place is definitely among my picks for best pizza in town. Service was nice and my slice came out quickly. The inside is approachable and comfy and has a few diversions for the kids if they come along. I also think they deliver over to The Dirty Olive just up the street, so if you'd like a pizza with your craft cocktail, well...you know who to call! Two small things I would change, if I could: the prompted tip on the tablet at the end of each transaction is really high for counter service (like, I wanna say starts at 25% high). I'm not personally too pressed about it as it's easy to change the percent and at any rate I believe the workers deserve a healthy tip anyway, but I can see how it could be off-putting. Second, more importantly for me, I wish there was real silverware for use during dine in. The individual slices are quite large and appropriately semi-floppy and very cheesy. In these types of situations, I much prefer to cut my pizza into smaller pieces and eat with a knife and fork. Plastic ones were provided but they really didn't get the job done with how chewy the sourdough crust was. Ultimately, these nitpicks are pretty small for me. I definitely look forward to stopping by in the future for a quick, simple, and delicious lunch or dinner!

I ordered a large supreme pizza to go. We arrived home with the supreme and it was mostly warm. With all the people moving here, it takes much longer to get to many places these days quickly. Congestion is the norm. The crust was flavorful and chewy. The red sauce was good. As for toppings, they were good. I thought the pizza was light on toppings. I am used to Donatos pizza. They put a lot of toppings on more often than not. Between the two of us discussing the pros and cons, I determined 4/5. I could not taste pepperoni because it was thin. I could taste the sausage. I will return again since Dave has proclaimed Big Ed's his favorite.

We ordered The Patriarch which is like a supreme pizza and the Italian salad. We were given a pager and told when it went off we could pick up our foods at the pick up counter. The Patriarch was a thin crust pizza similar to a supreme. The toppings were good but sparse. I would have preferred more meats and red sauce. The crust wasn't as crunchy as I like. I cut the pizza with a knife and fork. I didn't get the wood taste like I did on the other pizza I ate that was wood fired. 3/5 The Italian salad was made of fresh greens and included basil and some shaved Parmesan. Seriously tough call on the rating here. I think I'll settle on a 3 but it was super close to a 4,…read morejust several minor frustrations added up. I came here with one of my best friends who was home for Thanksgiving to have a girl's day out. BeeZr advertises a nice-looking brunch on the weekends so we thought we'd try it out. She wound up not being able to meet until later in the afternoon but I'm not opposed to a late brunch, so we got there around 1. It was a gray and dreary day on Thanksgiving weekend, so I get it being slow, but the restaurant was literally empty except for us and the servers. We joked it was because we'd rented the whole building to treat each other. The vibe is...fine inside. It definitely looks and feels more like a brewery than a restaurant, with large equipment and a sort of dimly lit atmosphere and a few large TVs by the nice bar. They have a small patio on the square which is REALLY lovely and definitely would've been my preference if the weather was nicer. Our server was okay. He was soft-spoken and not unpleasant, but did sort of have a knack for appearing at inopportune times during the conversation. I get that it's not always possible to avoid, but a little more discretion would've gone a long way, especially since we were the only ones in there. Our food and drinks came out in a timely manner. My biggest frustration was definitely the menu and item availability. I pre-read it and came knowing what I wanted (bananas foster French toast) only to discover that they were running a limited Thanksgiving weekend brunch menu and therefore it wasn't being offered that day. The first thing my friend ordered also wasn't available. I had my heart set on brunch so I asked for the breakfast burrito instead. Our waiter had to go check and make sure the kitchen could do it. Turns out they could - yay. But then I asked for potatoes to go with it -- and there were no breakfast potatoes available. I went with fries instead. When my burrito arrived at the table, there was no salsa or sour cream, which was supposed to come with it. Any component part of this experience is not a HUGE deal, but it all added up to be rather disappointing. My friend got the bulgogi tacos, which came in an order of two sort of small tacos. She liked them and said they were really good. She also got first a French mimosa and then a classic mimosa; I also had a classic mimosa. Both were generic but enjoyable. My breakfast burrito was decent, but I really missed the salsa and sour cream. The bacon inside was cut into tiny crunchy pieces, which I liked. The eggs were cooked very well but needed more salt and pepper. I enjoyed the bright burst of peppers and some were even a tiny bit spicy. It was a large serving but I wish it came with some side item instead of me having to order one. The side of fries was generous and they were really good -- super crispy but still fluffy inside. I thought the bill was a little high for 1 mimosa, a breakfast burrito, and fries -- almost $40. The burrito alone was $18, which seems like sooooo much for a brunch entree with no sides. Idk. Maybe I don't do mid-scale dining enough. Overall, I thought the quality of the food was solid enough that I'd consider returning, but I'd call ahead to see if they had what I wanted to avoid frustration.

My daughter and I split the 16" Clemenza. It was was delicious -- the pepperoni and italian sausage pizza was great. I particularly enjoyed the thinly cut bell peppers (usually they are a tad raw and huge - these were very thinner sliced and cooked well). If you love sauce, I'd get some pizza sauce on the side to dip crust, that was the only downsides of the meal. The wife ordered the Da Vinci pizza which I was not a fan of; why would you order a pizza and then put a salad with balsamic vinegar on top? But she loved it and thought the pizza was very fresh. My youngest daughter got the kid's cheese pizza and it was awesome. It had great cheese pull and she scarred the whole thing. This was not one of those 'kids will eat whatever' meals, this was a great pizza in its own right. We got some Tiramisu to go and it was also delicious later at home. Our server, Danielle, was awesome. She was the only server on thr outdoor patio and she was super busy taking care of seven tables but our drinks never went empty and she was VERY attentive. If only all restaurants could have servers as good as Danielle I would be much happier when eating out. The pizza was great, a little on the pricier sode but worth it.
