This was my first visit to a MOD Pizza. The pizza was large for a personal pie. The crust was thinner than expected and desired which resulted in a crunchy cracker like texture. Despite the large variety of toppings I chose, the pizza lacked flavor. It doesn't compare to my favorite, Blaze Pizza. The staff was nice and knowledgeable. The dining room could have used some attention (trash emptied, lemonade fountains refilled, and some soda options were flat.) read more

We went here for dinner today (our first dinner out since moving to Madison). I am gluten free and my husband is not, they took great care of us! I had no problems with my gluten free pizza and the staff changed gloves and everything! The pizza itself actually tasted like a real thin crust pizza which is rare for a gluten free pizza. I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at MOD was so disappointing that I feel obligated to share. The customer service was absolutely terrible -- the staff seemed uninterested, unhelpful, and even a little rude when we asked basic questions about the menu. It felt like we were an inconvenience just for showing up. There's rodents under the line they serve food from!! I'll insert a picture that an ex employee showed me. I wouldn't touch this place with a 10 foot pole. To make matters worse, the place was noticeably dirty. Tables were sticky, trash was overflowing, and the floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in days. Even the soda machine area was a mess, with spills everywhere and no one making an effort to clean up. It's a shame because MOD had potential, but I think the constant change of management and now owners has really deteriorated the value of the experience. It's unclean and the staff just seems to hate there jobs, go get pizza anywhere else !! read more

This is my first time visiting Mod pizza and I was completely satisfied with the value and quick service. They really have a great product and the price is amazing. I had the gluten free crust and requested it to be cooked "well done" so that way it would be nice and crunchy on the edges but softee towards the center. It came out as expected. There isn't much more that you can say about this place other than it was also nice and clean. I will definitely come back many more times. read more

Service was lacking and rude around noon on Saturday. Ordered and paid for pizzas online. They werent ready on time altho we were there precisely on time; we had to wait 12 additional minutes (they hadnt even put them in the oven yet). When pizzas were ready, we decided to order a black cherry drink. I was told to stand in a line to pay first. Fine. Three people ahead of me. The pizza oven guy leaned over and whispered something to the cashier who LEFT without a word when he got to me. The pizza oven guy came and took my money but didn't tell me I'd need to get a cup and to bring it back for him to fill; I had to ask what was up after waiting on him to help several others first. (Oddly, the drink was poured out of a pitcher - which I didn't expect because the display shows a bottle.) Lastly, when we arrived home, we discovered the pizza oven guy unaccountably MASHED THE LID DOWN ON one of THE PIZZAS so that much of the toppings were stuck to the box top. Our experience, in short, was ruined. Altho the pizza was good, the experience left us with a bad taste in our mouths. Staff needs training! read more

This is our go to out of the house Pizza it's very good. It's the best. My grandson loves it so we go there a lot even if the line is long it goes by quickly. Everybody knows what they want and everybody there is friendly. I love going here. the pizzas are nice and crunchy and hot and delicious. The pizza here is actually really good! It is definitely on par with Pieology and Blaze. They have a wide variety of toppings to put on the pizza. The inside of this location has an industrial/artsy vibe which is nice. I would definitely recommend trying! One thing to note is due to the customization of ordering your pizza, the line can be somewhat long. read more

We ordered some pizza on doordash and was happy all the pizzas were correct. It was very nice that they have gluten free crust option. I also liked the vegan cheese as well. MOD Pizza doesn't disappoint. It's become our go-to place to eat when we don't feel like cooking! You can build your own with as many or as little toppings as you want. Our total is usually right over $30 and that's 3 pizzas. My kids split a mini and my husband and I get our own. You really can't go wrong here. They have plenty of tables and booths, so we usually eat our pizza there. They also have a nice patio in the back! The staff is on the younger side, but I haven't had a bad experience. We decided to eat outside on their large patio out back which was perfect for a gorgeous day. Nice radio in the background, and overall pleasant atmosphere. The food, well it was very good. I'm not sure if it's because they are new or if it's the way they handle orders but our order walked out the door without us. They seem very disorganized which for a place advertises super fast pizza this doesn't bode well. Hopefully at least they taste good. The manager did get involved and gave us a free pizza. We finally got our pizza and it really was very good. They have a pesto that was very good. We went back to take advantage of the free pizza the manager gave us as a result of our first visit. I honestly want to give a higher review but I was disappointed in the customer service and availability of toppings. I have eaten at a few Mod pizzas across the country and this one is my least favorite. The food was good, seeing how I built my own, but the staff lacked emotion and I never felt welcomed, more like an inconvance. I also noticed they were missing toppings like roasted peppers and onions which I love on pizza. My last gripe is that there was no way to tell what some of the ingredients we're.
