I would've liked to sign-on to continue a membership here, but due to my job requiring me to travel at different times, it didn't seem like that was a viable option. It's difficult finding gyms that can pause memberships for certain circumstances. (I get it, it's a lot to ask.) Despite this, I was instructed to complete another set. During that final set, I injured my back badly enough that I could not walk afterward. At no point was the exercise stopped, reduced, or modified when I reported pain. I still can't squat, my back isn't fully recovered. Afterward, communication was disappointing. When my husband and I later explained that we needed to pause training due to finances, we received no response. Regardless of certification or experience level, a trainer should prioritize client safety, listen when pain is reported, and communicate professionally. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Update: After posting this review, the trainer contacted me and offered me money to take my review down. Since he can't contact me he reached out to my husband regarding my review. They added combination locks to the locker rooms, and put in different saunas. They also changed out the weights and the dumbbell and barbell racks even tho it wasn't needed. I'm sure they'll raise our membership prices, and I'll be looking for a new gym. Management has failed their members on too many levels to list.
