I called to ask a simple question about my insurance after the front desk told me I should speak with him directly. Instead of being helpful, he was incredibly rude and dismissive right from the start. Joe came across like a complete douche -- angry, hostile, and acting like he had a chip on his shoulder for no reason. It honestly felt like he had me confused with someone else because his reaction made no sense for such a straightforward question. I've never dealt with an office manager at a doctor's office who behaved this way. He should not be working at a doctors office where people should be empathetic. He lacks empathy. He speaks as if the patients owe him something and seems critical. When patients are just trying to understand their insurance or get basic information, the least they should receive is professionalism and courtesy. Unfortunately, Joe delivered the exact opposite and left a really terrible impression. This whole office from the doctor to the office manager to the front staff are all horrible and lack customer service. This was the last straw and I stopped going to this god-awful place. Her office runs like a finely oiled machine. She keeps appointment times. Her office staff call you back quickly and they care as much as Dr. Adelman does. Her staff is fabulous just like Dr. Adelman! Dr. Adelman bends over backwards to ensure her patients get the best possible care and in the most timely manner. If I was old enough to see her, I would. Additionally, although Dr. Beeve seems nice, in the 4-5 years our elderly family member has been his patient, he never ordered a blood panel for her yearly or semi-annual Physical. We just realized this, and had to ASK for the blood panel. Poor communication with the woman at the front desk in relation to where the Lab was located, how the order for the blood panel would be obtained, etc. and she had an "attitude" over the phone. We received the results of the blood panel and many things are out of range! I am sure some of these issues could have been addressed several years ago if a blood panel had been ordered by the doctor back then! As a relative of the patient, I was told I would not be able to communicate with their office on behalf of the patient without filling a form out. With my elderly relative in the car, I walked up to the office, filled the form out and left to have her/him sign it and immediately went back into the office and handed the form to the unfriendly person at the desk. I went back to the car and within minutes received a nasty phone call from that person at the desk, accusing me of signing for my relative who was in the front seat of the car. My relative was angry and told that woman that it was fine that that was signed. I'm disgusted with the doctor and the staff at this office. We have also had issues with getting prescriptions filled and me running back-and-forth to CVS because we were told they were filled when they were not. This happened several times in one day.

Instead, I was left waiting for an hour and a half without any meaningful communication about the delay. This was not the first time I was kept waiting. I understand that medical offices can have unexpected delays and emergencies, but waiting 90 minutes without a clear explanation or an update is not respectful of a patient's time. After waiting that long, I ultimately had to leave without being seen. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and improves communication with patients when appointments are significantly delayed. Patients' time matters too, and I expected a much more professional experience. You lost a patient and I will share this experience with anyone I meet.

Trying to get a timely appointment now is near painful -- and if you have to move an appointment, it will be double the time getting the next one. My past few experiences have been just that, and I find it super disparaging, especially as a longtime patient. Also, the call staff I find could be a bit more friendly and accommodating. Sometimes I feel like they don't even try and I'm told to go to Urgent Care.
