Katrina's reached out a couple times and we returned their call a bit late, unfortunately I had other priorities (my tire) at the time and didn't immediately call them. The owner had absolutely no empathy for loyal customers who have given good business in the past and our situation, he asked what he should do with the food when we said we wouldn't be able to make it, and told us when we return he will charge us for the total of our order (2 platters - probably $45+). Between this and their outrageously high prices that we usually settle for over convenience and decent food, we will not be coming back here. It's a shame how greedy and unkind people have become nowadays.

Schmidt's is a grocery store but also has a full deli counter service offering a variety of breakfast and lunch options, plus hot food like fried chicken, hot dogs, burgers, you name it. The store was well organized and well stocked. Serve yourself options like the salad bar were well maintained and sanitary looking. I ordered two breakfast burritos which were well made and hefty. On my way out I also grabbed some brown butter toffee cookies from the front at the cashier, and truly I am still thinking about these cookies on a regular basis. They were that good. It's a smaller spot than Deli Delight, but it's clean and has most offerings you could want if you're stopping in for quick breakfast or lunch to go. The bacon egg and cheese sandwiches here are solid, and the breakfast burritos are an incredible amount of food for just $8. The homemade hot sauces they have here will blow your mind and also your intestines, in the best way possible. I love their signature Hampton's Olga blend of coffee they serve and sell here, so much so that I bought a bag of my own to brew at home. My only criticism (or I guess, more of a consideration to make if you're deciding between Deli Delight and this spot) is that orders can take a bit of time to make. If you're in a rush, I'd recommend calling ahead and placing an order over the phone! Also, I wish they had iced coffee.
