Trust the reviews on this one. On Long Island we have some of the best bagels. Unfortunately they are not at this place. Bagels are subpar. Cream cheese is a little off and I ordered a toasted bagel with butter and as you can see by the picture it is barely toasted. The staff was very friendly and nice, but the processes of how they operate are not efficient. Not yo mention it took almost 15 minutes for a toasted bagel with butter and a bagel with cream cheese. To note, there was no one waiting ahead of me. Just 2 people who had ordered prior to me walking in. They offer many other sandwiches , smoothies and other things that might be good but this is not a good representation of bagels on the island. Hampton Bays Bagels might be the best bagel I've ever had! It's in a strip mall and doesn't look like much but don't be fooled! It's super tasty. They have mini bagels and normal sized ones. I couldn't resist and got a normal size everything bagel. The outside is crispy and inside is fluffy - just the way a bagel should be. There's just enough everything seasoning on both sides. My husband had an egg everything and he said it was delicious. Their plain cream cheese is thick and creamy. I didn't love the veggie cream cheese - lacked flavor. But the bagel made up for it! We will be back for sure next time we're in town. read more

One of our fave brekkie to go spots when we're out at our place for the Hamptons season! Orders are always on time and they take every special request added to an item seriously. The shopping center it is in is a bit desolate feeling but infusing this place, it has 2 great places to take out from during this pandemic and a decent Whole Food's knock off, albeit a bit over priced, but that's for another review. Their signature sandwiches, be it on a roll or their bagel, are huge, delicious and priced accordingly. Their waffles are huge and delicious and everything is packaged nicely to stay piping hot. Bagels themselves are both chewy and soft too. We'll definitely be back time and time again! read more

Checked in and checked out fast. What is this Florida? Can't believe this place is in New York. Darkest, flattest omelette was on a diners plate seemingly being enjoyed. It looked like I'd not go for it. Kept walking. At the back is the counter and bagels are not heaped in the rows behind but instead a few below the counter. The palest bagels ever seen. They needed cooking. Despite this not possible to get a bagel experience.. the place had more sit down diners at there few tables than most places stopped in. Go figure! They all looked happy! So. This is my favorite bagel spot on the east end, mainly because of the sandwich in the picture, the Healthy Stacker! One egg, turkey bacon, cheddar, spinach & tomato on a whole grain bagel. Not too heavy & a nice combination of ingredients. Generally speaking it is like any other bagel deli around they just do a really nice job. FYI they also have Covid precautions in place, counter shield, mask, sanitizer available & a clean restroom. read more

Great bagels - super fresh and yummy! It's basically a deli in a strip mall, but it had a huge menu and they seem to be able to do anything from wraps, sandwiches and burgers to smoothies and salads. The place was spick and span and had a seating area up front with cafe style tables and chairs. It's self service but they will bring your food to you at the table if you let them know you're waiting out front. Huge variety of pre-packaged snacks and drinks too. Recommend for a takeaway on-the-go breakfast for sure! read more

Used to be good food but now that has changed and even the cashiers actitud is rude. Place is clean but i wont be bringing my family here again. The food and coffee were absolutely delicious (I'm still dreaming about that coconut cold brew), but the service was strange. We were in town for an event, and the moment we walked in the door, they were asking us what we wanted, before we had even had a chance to look at the menu. When we got our breakfast, we asked for silverware, and the employee said, "silverware?" and just stared at us, like it was a strange thing to request (luckily the employee behind him hooked us up). There weren't many seating options available when we went (there's a big room to the side of the main area, but it wasn't open), so we ended up sitting outside. But like I said, the food was so good, it'd be worth trying it again next time we're in the area. read more

Very conveniently located on Montauk Highway, this bagel store has very good bagels and they're served fresh. I had a lox & cream cheese here and the serving size was generous for the price. The coffee is also very good, so I recommend this place if you're in the mood for a decent bagel while in the Hamptons. read more

I've gone here a few times to get my usual order of bacon and eggs on a plate. I've been mostly happy with the food, but sometimes the meal looks and tastes like it was prepared in a rush. The last time I went, I had to put a bit of effort into sawing through the scrambled eggs with the plastic utensils. The bacon has been hit or miss so far. When the bacon is done right, it's crispy (but not burnt) and delicious. On one occasion, however, it tasted as if it was pulled off of a shelf and tossed in the microwave. The interior is pretty nice; there's plenty of space between each table, and everything is always clean and orderly. There's not much space around where you place your order, but at least you can wait at one of the tables until your food is ready. The price for my food has been consistent across all three visits, which is extremely rare as far as my custom order goes. The staff has been very nice and helpful so far as well. I'm sure I'll be back sometime soon after another mediocre workout at the Planet Fitness next door. I want to give this place a higher rating, so I definitely want to try the bacon and eggs a few more times. read more

This place is an embarrassment to delis. They just take advantage of rich people on their way to the beach. I'm not one of the rich people but I have been taken advantage of. After waiting 20 minutes for my sandwich it was wrong of course. I wanted an Italian hero and he asked if I wanted it on a bagel or roll and I said roll. So of course he brings a round roll instead of a long roll. So now I'm pissed bc I have to share this sandwich with my fiancé and I know I'll still be starving after. And also it was 9 dollars for what as exactly: two slices of cappy, three slices of salami and two slices of provolone. Of but there was plenty of lettuce and onion and three slices of tomato to fatten up a stale round roll with store bought vinaigrette salad dressing. Ordered the garden omelet and it was cooked well. Bagel was supposed to come with lite CC but they gave me butter instead. The bagel itself was okay. Not dry but just lacked some flavor. We are still on the search for a great bagel place for breakfast sandwiches and a mean iced coffee. We were recommended this spot by someone and to be honest, we were disappointed. When we walked in, there wasn't really a system for ordering, paying, and picking up orders. It was disorganized and customers coming in didn't know if other customers were in line, ordering, etc. The staff weren't very friendly and seemed confused as well. We ordered 2 bagel sandwiches, 1 iced tea, and 1 iced coffee. Our bagels tasted like they could have been from Stop and Shop and the contents were extremely greasy. Nothing tasted fresh or home made. The iced coffee was okay, but definitely was not cold enough. Needless to say, we are still on the search for a spot that was like our former Bagel Palace in Hampton Bays. ;( read more

I love this place. Always have, always will. Every time I return home I have- emphasis on HAVE- to go to HB Bagels, even though bagel palace is much closer (too expensive, not a fan!). I've been going to hb bagel since high school and since then it has been owned by the same people. It's always consistent, has a great selection of bagels (mind you, if you go early enough!) and an extensive menu of other breakfast items, all of which are made to order. I always go for a lightly toasted bagel with a "lot" of olive- and/or cucumber dill- cream cheese. So tasty. It always comes out perfectly. I came here with a group of friends for breakfast on a Sunday morning. There were so many great bagel options as well as breakfast sandwiches. The service was quick and the food was made fresh. Our regular bagel place is bagel palace in Hampton bay's but we were tired of the lines and long wait for food so we tried here. Hands down the winner in the area. Located in the wild oats shopping center on the way to quogue. Bagels are pretty much the same quality but the omelets are enormous and unlike their competitor not greasy. Large coffee and bagel is included so for 7.99 you eat quite well. They also bring your order right to the table. Added bonus... A Fresh squeeze orange juice machine.
