Unlike the previous contractors--one assigned by SLWA and another highly rated local company--Mr. Ed's team took the time to thoroughly investigate rather than guessing or rushing through the job. (Please note, Mr. Ed's was also assigned by SLWA after a continued issue) Adrian from Mr. Ed's was professional, patient, and methodical. Even when their sonar equipment couldn't pinpoint the tiny leak, he recommended a careful exploratory dig instead of making assumptions. During the exploratory dig, both Adrian and Ed (business owner) personally inspected every possible source, including indoor lines and the garage slab, and ultimately identified a combination of a very small leak, a branching pipe, and a faulty valve. I want to highlight that Ed and Adrian are exceptionally knowledgeable, and their extensive experience in the industry is evident. They were able to provide solutions and recommendations that other companies could not. Throughout the process, the office staff was respectful and helpful, especially as we navigated SLWA delays. When it came time for repairs--ultimately out‑of‑pocket--we chose to proceed with Mr. Ed's because of their thoroughness and integrity. Considering the quality of "service" and the sheer rudeness I experienced, I am certain they are ripping people off. They claimed they tested everything before leaving, but just 20 minutes later, water started leaking from the supply line. The next day, they returned to "fix" the leak with some blue glue. I wanted to wait a few hours to ensure the leak was truly resolved this time, but the owner, "Mikey," spoke to me incredibly disrespectfully, saying, "if I am done with my crap he needs the money." Literally this is what was said to me. This experience clearly highlights how money-oriented and completely lacking in customer service these people are. As great as that was, i should have done more estimates as they charged way more than it should have been. Word of advice, get a toilet through a store, then have them install it for cheaper. Anyhow a different tech came to put the new toilet in. He was nice and did a good job. However, should have checked the upper tank and it was wobbly a bit. I messaged them and ask if that's normal. A different tech came and temporary fixed it. I believe it's that type of tank that is just not steady in the upper part (top flush button) I ended up again using a towel to put behind to make it sturdy. Imagine that, a pricy toilet that uses a towel to keep the upper part sturdy. As annoying as it is to get estimates, you should definitely do that before you settle for one that's more pricy than it should have been. And all they care about is you rating them and keep asking you to rate them through email and phone.
