    Garlic Parmesan wings
    Shayer S.

There was a short wait to get seated but nothing unreasonable. Service throughout was friendly and the ambiance was great. Pricing was about what I expected for the area. The Bee's Knees cocktail wasn't for me. It was way too sour. That said, I think that's more on me for ordering it than the drink itself since it's meant to have that flavor profile. The shrimp scampi was easily the best dish we ordered. So good. Make sure to dip the baguette into the buttery shrimp sauce. If you're sharing, I'd recommend ordering extra bread because you'll definitely want it. The garlic parmesan wings were excellent. We also tried the blackberry BBQ wings. I didn't really care for that flavor combination but I'm still glad I gave them a shot. Both flavors had big meaty wings that were cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese was really good. Definitely more of an elevated version with a lot going on. I enjoyed it but it was a little too fancy for the kiddo who prefers a simpler mac and cheese. The chicken tenders were very basic and the fries that came with them were pretty weak. We also ordered the garlic parmesan truffle fries which were much better than the regular fries, even if they weren't anything special. The lemonade was also too sour for my taste. We ended up adding sugar ourselves and after that it was much better. Overall, we had a good meal. The shrimp scampi and garlic parmesan wings were the clear standouts, service was friendly, and the atmosphere made for an enjoyable experience. I'd come back, but I'd definitely order differently next time.

    A very delicious chocolate cake!

Enjoyed a really good lunch with family this week. We started with the spreads (feta, hummus, yogurt) appetizer and then our group had burgers/fries, chicken sandwich/fries and a steak dish/poutine - good portion size. To finish off the meal, we shared a slice of a very moist chocolate cake (to celebrate my birthday), delicious! We all loved the decor of the restaurant. The staff were all helpful. Would definitely pop in again when I am in the area. Thanks for a very good experience!

Not my first time here, not my last time here, and looking forward to my next trip! When in the area I will make any and all excuses to come to Melzingah Tap House! There are many things on the menu that all look really delicious - ahi tuna nachos, the wings and spicy tuna rice all pique my interest. However, we went with the Pappardelle Con Gli Scampi and Salmon. These mains were very delicious! Salmon was perfectly cooked and the sauce with the shrimp was a tasty garlicky scampi. Our service was great and I recommend trying to get a table with a view. They've figured how busy they get and have really competent service staff. They're very knowledgeable of the menu and drinks, and were great at checking in. I'm glad we had a reservation as this place does get quite busy during tourist season and on weekends.

Cute little neighborhood gastropub! We loved the pulled pork sandwich and mussels. It's slightly elevated bar food but it was yummy! The short rib French onion soup was unique and I recommend trying it or splitting it (the taste gets a bit much after a few bites). Service was solid. Ambiance was OK. Decor was cute. They did miss some ingredients in our mussels appetizer and it took awhile to get our food (even though it was not busy). I would recommend giving it a try!

Not your typical tap house! Not only do they have a wide variety of beers (wine and cocktails too!) to choose from, but the food is phenomenal. Parking is tight so prepare for street parking and a short walk during peak hours. The inside is cozy and they have a patio out back for nice weather days. The staff is always friendly here and they're part of the reason I always come in when I'm in town! I've tried a couple of things off their menu and and have yet to be disappointed. I appreciate that they are always changing the menu too and have seasonal specials.

Melzingah Tap House is an awesome place to get lunch and a beer (or three). The service was great. They gave an extensive selection of draft beer. The chicken club was very tasty, as were the house cut fries. Lots of exposed brick throughout the restaurant, giving it a very cool interior.

I've been to this place twice. It has an outdoor seating area as well. There is a parking lot but it's quite small and will get packed quickly. As for the food, everything is really good! The service was pretty quick as well. I like coming here and I would definitely return and try other menu items. We tried the burgers on this visit, and they were delicious! The fries are also really good. My only complaint is that the ketchup is brought out in a small serving cup, so we did have to keep asking for additional ketchup.

This is a nice spot on Main Street. We had a reservation, and good thing we did because it was packed. The service, however, didn't make you think it was a full house. They were very attentive and kind. The place has a nice vibe to it, the cute lights give it a nice intimate feel. The food is very good. Certainly a good spot to grab a bite and drink!

Food was amazing. Got the Chicken Club and fries. The waiter was nice, and I liked the environment.

Melzingah Tap House is a cute date night spot in Beacon - good bites and drinks all around. Service was friendly and food was decent. You definitely pay New York City prices here. Cocktails were okay but could have used a bit more alcohol. For an appetizer we got the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice and it was massive! It comes with four pieces and they could have cut down the rice part a bit. The Chicken + Dumplings were very good - very homey, comforting taste. On the specials was the Lamb Ragu Garganelli - this was a hearty ragu that tasted great! Overall a solid spot for dinner in Beacon.

I loveeeee the food here!! Good atmosphere too, and their portions are so nice!!! I had to take all my dishes home bc it was a lot of food which is great bc u are getting what u pay for plus it was delicious! The service took forever but we were at the bar and it was kinda busy on a weekend so I get it. Def will keep coming back here

Always a crowd pleaser. Whether I'm looking to entertain visitors or to do happy hour/dinner, melzingah is always a winner. There's plenty of cocktails (zero proof options too), beer and wine options and the food never disappoints. The pretzel bites, macaroni + cheese and wings are my favorite go-to appetizers. Reservations recommended. It gets busy, especially given the prime location to Beacon's waterfalls. If you can snag a seat at the bar, that's a great spot to sit and dine. They also have outdoor covered dinning which is great for all seasons.

I found myself at Melzingah Tap House with one of my college friends for lunch and to catch up. We hadn't seen each other in years and this seemed like a great place to reunite and grab a bite. That being said, we booked an afternoon slot and made our way. The last time I was in Beacon was roughly 10 years ago, and wow it has changed a lot - so many cute shops and eateries along the main strip. I heard property prices have soared up here and I totally believe it. Melzingah definitely fits well into this - as the aesthetics fit the classic design of the area while still having a contemporary feel. The dining room is moderately sized with that aesthetic you find in most modern eateries that popped up in the 2010s. The menu is American fare - mostly apps, salads, and sandwiches with some mains. Since they are a tap house, they have a good variety of beer as well as some cocktails. I decided to start with one of their cocktails which was quite good - the temperatures were reaching 60 outside so I was manifesting Spring and got one of their lighter choices. I was feeling a sandwich so I went with that for my actual lunch - the BLT was speaking to me firstly because it's a BLT, but secondly because they used arugula for the L, added an aioli, and served it on a baguette. The sandwich was really tasty - the helping of bacon was generous but not overly salty and the baguette was substantial enough to hold the sandwich together without being too hard. The sandwich came with fries as a standard but I decided to get truffle fries instead - I'm not sure where the truffle was in these because it just looked like they were topped with grated cheese? Unless the truffle was in the cheese? I'm not sure, I couldn't taste any truffle. Service was good, food came out at a good pace and all the staff were friendly. Overall, I had a great experience at Melzingah - the food was great, as was the service and the company. I wouldn't hesitate to return the next time I find myself up in Beacon.
