Many items have increased in price since the first time we visited this store, but there are still quite a few items at $.9999. The food and vegetables are reasonably priced and the selction is varied and pretty much covers the basic necessities. The people are eager to assist in any way they can. Also, if you download the App, the rewards are typically $3 off a $25 purchase. On a cople of occasion our totla was going to be around $22, so we added items to reach the $25 threshhold. It's like those last items are free!

I went on a Saturday afternoon and there were only 2 cashiers and a handful of customers. The fresh produce does not seem that fresh. I could visibly see mold on the strawberries without even touching/turning the bag. Most of the vegetables looked soft, dry, deflated, or soggy in their packaging. The produce that did look halfway decent had prices comparable to HEB or even more expensive! So at that point, I would just recommend going to HEB. They do have cheaper alternatives for dairy products, freezer goods, coffee, and other refrigerated items. There are some brands I recognize, such as Starbucks coffee and some freezer brands, but also some obvious knockoff brands that sell oat milk for $2. The ingredients for that oat milk seem clean, but I did not try it out. I like the pantry and canned goods section! It is annoying that some of the items don't have price tags, so I picked up a few things that ended up being more expensive than I thought. They have an extensive canned drink, tea, and chip section. They also have name brand sriracha/chili oil, as well as many other ethnic canned items! I got a 3 pack of the seaweed snacks for $1. I also got the name brand kettle chip honey dijon flavor for $2! Overall, this is a place I see myself going to a few times a year just to see what interesting items they have. Most things are a "dollar" (.25 + tax) lol but the majority of items are not. It's a bit frustrating that things aren't labeled as such especially since it is a "dollar tree" with very few things that are a dollar. The customer service is ok and the selection is decent. Every time I've gone in there the store has boxes all over the place and employees stocking for a new season. Overall, ok experience.

Each of the sections have items on shelves, bins or on a hanging carousel. You don't find stuff in your way. I got another cat tunnel ($4.50) for Sonic. He pretty much demolished his first one and I couldn't repair it anymore. Also found decent enough phone cases for the iPhone 14 Pro ($5.55 each). They have so many different items: books, stickers, jewelry, cat and dog pet toys, hats, candy, phone cases for the popular phones, on and on. It appeared all we had today was self checkout. Not a fan. I prefer dealing with humans. However, an employee was on hand to help you through the process, so OK. All the employees I interacted with were cheerful, helpful and friendly. This was a good visit. Go there.

I will say that their selection is not as big as some of the other stores that i've seen, but they still have some great deals. This visit, we got a pan to cook with, a phone charging card, some protein powder and even some beauty products. Service is decent, selection is quite varied in particular in bedding and dry goods. As someone else pointed out, you can get great discounts on food products but be sure to check the expiration dates on some of them! YMMV but for my dollar this is a discount chain worth visiting.

They have some Disney and Sanrio brand items as well. So cute! Their prices are posted with the yen conversion, throughout the store but if not marked, everything is $1.75, but recently they had a price change to $2.25. The items are still definitely worth it and high quality. Their bigger household items are priced as marked. I noticed recently their holiday goods went on sale after the holiday as well. A lot of fun gift items or ideas for favor bags. Nice service and clean, well organized store.

As a first time customer, it was very overwhelming, but the pricing is very easy to follow with signs posted in all the aisles. I was pleasantly surprised at just how much variety the store has and I found some very useful items for my house, including some cute coasters and a set of chopsticks with a spoon. Didn't regret that for a second. In fact, it has become one of my favorite shopping destinations (especially when I have a coupon in tow). Out of all the Big Lots I've been to in my life, this was one that I was extremely impressed with that it is clean and VERY ORGANIZED!!! Staff is always friendly and eager to help at all times which is very appreciated. The store itself is very organized and well stocked. I have yet to have a bad experience here and don't think I will any time soon! I highly recommend.
