Ordered for delivery and the food arrived on time. Get the lamb adana platter! The meat was well seasoned and very tender. The complimentary Turkish bread was really good. I just wished they had sent more white sauce with the platters.

Mixed cold appetizers. A lot of eggplant but that was the best part

Recommended: Adana, Calf's Liver, Doner to an extent I went to this Turkish spot with one of my groups a while back having been prior to their other location. The place is pretty big and is pretty casual and the service was fine. Food also was similarly fine with pretty reasonable prices and some good dishes and some just okay dishes. It's nice that they have small and large options for most dishes also. They gave us some bread which was warm and tasty. The best of the appetizers was the Calf's Liver/Arnavut Cigeri served with the obligatory onions topped with sumac. Perfectly cooked with a good mix of spices. I've had better from a couple spots but these were notably good. The Large Mixed Cold Appetizers/Karışık Meze Tabağı consisted of hummus, babaghanoush, eggplant spread/patlıcan salatası, white beans/piyaz, cracked wheat/tabule, yogurt/lebne, "mixed eggplant," and grape leaves. In short, it was mostly a mix of eggplant and some other things with the best thing probably being the spiced eggplant spread and the baba. It went well with the warm bread of course. The last of the smaller plates was the Sigara Boregi or filo stuffed with cheese and herbs. These had five pieces and were lightly salty. The texture could have been better but they were fine. The best of the main dishes was the Chicken Adana or ground chicken flavored with bell peppers and paprika served with rice and salad. The adana here was particularly tender and well flavored being one of the few dishes that I thought was better than at Taci's. There was also lamb gyro/doner. The portion size was generous with plenty of sliced lamb though some pieces were a bit dry. The piece that were tender were excellent however but I definitely have had better. Last was the Kaşarlı Sucuklu Pide. Pide refers to a flatbread and in this case it was topped with Kasseri cheese and sausage (i.e. the sucuk.) Salty as expected and there could have been a bit more sausage but it was pretty good. We got a few desserts after. The brown top pudding/Kazandibi was my favorite as expected with a good texture. The rice pudding topped with cinnamon was OK though lighter flavored than most. The pistachio rolls were unfortunately cold but thankfully not overly sweet. I also got a Turkish Coffee which was OK. The food here was fine. A couple notably good dishes with a couple OK ones. If this was in a place without good Turkish food, I'd let it slide a bit more but there's steep competition in this part of Brooklyn. Low/mid 3.

We really liked the food and service. Everything was delicious, especially grilled chicken wings. The restaurant feels like you're in a traditional Turkish restaurant.

Nice, casual seating area. Lots of space between tables. Good service. A bit expensive. Ordered the Special Memo Shish Kebab. The meat was delicious, tender and juicy! I was impressed! The salad and bread that came with it was good, the rice was just ok. I would return just for the meat and the bread!

Solid generically good Turkish for Brooklyn. That said, it had to be eaten fresh. We ordered delivery and by the time it arrived the meat was already cold. The salad with feta was fresh and very good, as was the hummus. The bread is best warm. Prices are reasonable. If ordering from here, pick up the food yourself.

Something about Memos really always shines. You can tell that when you are eating the food that it was freshly prepared for you... It's always a treat when I order. I never once was left feeling disappointed. This place is highly recommended by me as a must try. My go-to is the Grilled Chicken Kabob Plate. I always add hummus to it :) their hummus is a must. I also really love the lentil soup. It's outstanding. Something about this meal gives me all the warm fuzzy feels of eating a home cooked meal. The Baklava also ridiculously amazing.

Food was a little dry, even with extra sauce. It was pretty average food. I liked how inside is spacious and felt clean. Parking can be hard during weekends considering it's on kings highway. I would come back

Service is good, nice location, but my shawarma was really dry and tasteless, for $20 I would expect something better taste

I just finished my take home dinner from Memo and it was delicious. Usually when you eat at any restaurant, it's the food you're more focused on, the tastes quality etc. This review is different for me, don't get me wrong, but the highlight of tonight was the service. I wish I caught her name, maybe I will stop by and thank her next time. While their entire staff are very sweet, this one particular lady went beyond and helped me bring me order to my car across the street! She put into consideration my 2 year old with me and what I had in my hands to start with. She asked me if I have a car and grabbed my bags and lead me out. With such a busy place, services may sometimes go unnoticed but it's the little things that mean the most. Thank you for making it easier for me tonight!

I ordered dinner to go. I got one of my usual orders, a large mix gyro with the salad on the side and a bread. I thoroughly enjoy the food here. The staff is always nice and quick to help. The restaurant is always clean and well kept whether its empty or full of people. The food is always good and fresh. Todays was no different. They were able to assist me quickly. Though when eating the food today it was a little bit on the greasier side but still very delicious. Overall 4.5/5

Memo Shish Kebab is still my favorite spot for Mediterranean/Turkish food, after all these years. The portions are big, the prices are reasonable, and the food is good - what more could you ask for? My favorite is still any of the adanas (although this time the chicken was a bit dry but that wouldn't keep me from ordering it again next time). I've been here many times since my initial review but this time, I finally got to try the lahmacun and I loved it. In my mind, it's like a Turkish version of pizza but without the cheese. It's a thin piece of flatbread with minced meat (in this case, lamb) and fresh herbs. It was a bit soggy but that was due to it being piping hot, stuffed into a pizza box, and us not eating it until half an hour later. We had some leftovers the next day that we popped in the toaster oven (and of course I bastardized it by adding some mozz, but I'm not mad at it) and it was still amazing. No leftover lamb taste or anything, and it crisped back up very nicely. Thanks, Memo for introducing me to lahmacun! I'm just sad I don't live in the area anymore, but I'm sure my bank account would be happy about that.

Coffee was good. Our app was not the best babaganoush I've had - very middle of the road, in my opinion.   For my entrée I went with the malawach. My first time having this and I was amazed. It is such a buttery and flaky flatbread - outstandingly delicious. I think the accompaniments gave space for the flatbread to shine - but I do wish there were alternative offerings. I would've loved something more indulgent than some crushed tomato and boiled egg.

Glad we did because it was definitely a surprise hit. Tahini (7.5/10) - Portion is tiny, but flavor was good. Their pitas are pretty fluffy Green Tahini (8/10) - Same small portion, but I enjoyed this version a slight bit more. Babaganoush (7.5/10) - Quite smokey, but not as creamy as I prefer. Once again, puny sized. Original Hummus (9/10) - One of the best versions of this dish I ever had. This is a must order. Chicken Schnitzel Plate (7.5/10) - A well prepared, crispy and tender piece of chicken. Chicken Shawarma Plate (8.5/10) - This is a fantastic platter. Great sauce. Delicious chicken. Moroccan Fish (7.5/10) - Chilean Sea Bass covered in a flavorful pepper sauce. Owner Chef/owner Itai spoke very confidently in his food and we can see why. Everything was very tasty, albeit prices are somewhat high. This new restaurant deserves some love.

The quality of their food has always been top notch and honestly is my favorite spot for a Turkish meal. Their hummus and basically all their skewers, kababs and grilled meats are simply amazing. Fast forward, I haven't gone to Taci's Beyti for over a year and I just recently went for our anniversary dinner over the weekend. Place still felt the same, so I ordered my hummus, mixed grill and the chicken kebab for the misses. When The entrees arrived, I was a bit disappointed. They seem to have changed what use to come with their main entrees. Gone is the bed of thinly sliced onions under your meats, so is the roasted pepper and also the roasted tomato. Three items I actually enjoyed having with my entree. They also changed the pita under the meats as well but they replaced it with a very sad salad instead, with no dressing or even a vinaigrette at that. Just plain dry leaves with some red onions. They also have two prices now, one for cash and one for credit, the cost has gone up (which I understand) but they've also cut the portions and what use to come with it. Yes the food is still good but after that last trip I am rethinking about ever going back. I am disappointed that either through choice, greed, or whatever they decided to cut back. Time to scout and try some other Turkish restaurants in the boroughs I suppose, and no I am not leaving a one star review, their food quality and taste hasn't changed. I am just very disappointed.

It was a bit warm at our table, and the friendly staff moved us to a cooler area. To drink, I ordered the Wolf's Fang for $18, a blend of rums, falernum, arak, passionfruit, orange, and oat milk. As described, it was their take on a milk punch, and wasn't too sweet with a bright hint of citrus. I would recommend it. The hummus was good, being thick with a strong tahini flavor, though I have preferred others. Outside of the hummus, the daily salatim included a mix of mostly pickled items. First, there was some pickled cauliflower and carrots with a bit of turmeric. The second salatim was a more unique and spicier pineapple slaw, which was refreshing, and had some herbal flavor from parsley or something similar. The third was a cabbage slaw, which was alright, as I found it a bit too lightly seasoned. The last was a mix of cucumbers, olives, and other pickles, which was standard and tasty. Alongside all of this, the pita was warm and fresh, and the staff refilled everything when we asked. For the main course, I chose the Steak Shashlik, which they spell as shishlik, for $46, which came with tahini and some pickled onions. The steak was tender and well seasoned, and the tahini added a distinctive nuttiness. I especially enjoyed making a mini sandwich with the steak, tahini, pineapple pickle, and pita. Others at the table ordered the Spicy Lamb Kofta and other shashlik options, including Chicken and Trout. In terms of sides, someone got the $15 Fries with tahina ketchup, which they enjoyed. Overall, everyone enjoyed their meal, with no one ordering dessert as a few walked over to the tasty Bertoni Gelato nearby. This place is a tad expensive, but I wouldn't mind going back. Even as a fan of pickles, I wish the salatim were a bit more varied, such as including an eggplant or bean-based mezze. I presume the dinner version is a bit more varied, as there are many more salatim, but they should put a bit more effort into the lunch one as well.

A server finally came by to ask my order but since it was my first time I asked for suggestions. I settled on the vegan platter ($24) so I could try a variety of items. I also got the Labne and Shay Ma Na Na ($8) (mint tea).. They also provide a complimentary pita, olives, and zaatar. The platter is large enough to share between two. The dawali (grape leaves) lacked flavor, thin in size, and not much rice inside. Typically they have a nice tang to them and have more rice filling. There is a salad of just greens and large onion rings. I'd suggest using the olive oil as dressing. Falafel and dip was basic. The labne felt like something was missing, maybe needed more salt/zaatar or lemon. The tea was decent but the traditional pot it comes in leaks. I mentioned this and was told yea it does. I was given paper napkins. The traditional pot looks cool, but leaves wet drops of tea every time you try to pour in a cup. I'd suggest something else to avoid a wet table. My table was also wobbling. While the server tried to add paper to even it out, it still wobbled. Ended up moving to another table. There is a restroom downstairs. No elevator. Overall, loved the artwork and look of the place, but the food and service could be better. Perhaps I'll return to try the desserts someday.
