I wish I would've read all the reviews before choosing this place to cremate my family member. It…read moretook over a month for the cremation and then the death certificate, still hasn't been released. The employees here are very unprofessional and are full of excuses as to why a process that should be seamless is so complicated! In a time when I need peace, they just created more chaos in my life! I definitely would not recommend them to anyone!

If I could give Auxiliadora a negative stars rating I would!!! a hundred times over!!!…read more We lost my 11 yr old sons father very unexpectedly and were dealing With SO much already that the unprofessionalism and disregard for human life this funeral home displayed was egregious to say the least First and foremost they charge you a $10 fee for each floral arrangement you have delivered to the funeral home....HORRIBLE. They said they would provide us with finger food and coffee. They provided 4 muffins and 1 box of Fresco brand lemon cake slices. We brought our own spread regardless but as soon as they saw our platters coming in they pulled their 4 muffins off the countertops within seconds, saving them for the next service im sure. My sons father looked AWFUL! He was only 39 when he died but he looked no less than 60 yrs old in that casket. His lips were sewn together crooked the makeup was caked on his face and the plastic bags meant to hold his bodily fluids in were hanging out of his clothes. And to make matters even worse, he was an organ donor so upon donation the hospital provided my 11 yr old son with a ceramic heart necklace and a matching bracelet for him to tie to his dads wrist. It was ceramic so it could be creamated with the body and son would have a connection to his dad forever. WELL THIS FUNERAL HOME REMOVED THE BRACELET FROM THE body and NEVER EVER GAVE US ANSWERS ON WHERE IT WAS MISPLACED. Towards the end of the service the mother of the deceased and his son (my 11 yr old) and the grandmother of the deceased broke down crying hysterically, it was gonna be the last time they saw their loved one and it was sinking in...well the funeral worker didn't hesitate to barge in and remind everyone we had 20 minutes and not a minute more and we would be escorted out without any exceptions. DISGUSTING! Fast forward to 30 days after the funeral. We contacted Auxiliadora to find out why noone had called us to pick up the ashes and they said it was because they had made a mistake with the paperwork and needed another signature to continue with the cremation. OUR LOVED ONE WAS IN A REFRIGERATOR FOR OVER 30 DAYS AND WE THOUGHT THE CREMATION HAD TAKEN PLACE WITHIN 10 DAYS OF THE SERVICE AS PROMISED!! THEY LEFT HIS BODY IN A REFRIGERATOR ALL THAT TIME AND DIDNT CONTACT US TO TELL US THERE WERE ANY ISSUES...if we wouldn't have called to check the status we wouldn't have found out until even later WELL we did some research and it turns out this funeral home allegedly had an incident years ago where they cremated the wrong body and that persons ashes were spread by the wrong family. When we found this out we called the funeral hom and asked if we could identify the body 1 last time before they cremated him because we were scared we wouldnt get the correct ashes...CAN YOU BELIEVE THEY TRIED TO CHARGE US $300 TO IDENTIFY THE BODy BEFORE CREMATION??? They had the gull to tell us if we wanted to spend extra time with the body we had to pay!! WHAT EXTRA TIME??? WE JUST WANTED TO IDENTIFY and MAKE SURE WE WERE GETTING THE CORRECT ASHES??? When the deceased mother called to express how dissatisfied we were the OWNER told her to come pick up the body if we didn't like the way they did things !!!! OMGGG...I JUST CANT. ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS BEWARE !!! AND RUN!!!! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE HORRIBLE HUMAM BEINGS!!!

Peace of Mind…read more Getting one's ducks in a row.... I learned from an early age that organization of everything creates a clear perspective amidst the cacophony of our daily lives. Having experienced a loved one's passing [actually both Family and Friends] Self-Responsibility kicks in.... I do not want anyone to experience the untangling process for my own demise. Not macabre at all. A quote by Franklin D. Roosevelt, "There is nothing to fear but Fear itself." Many refuse to use or refer to the 'D' word, however, it is an inevitability in everyone's life.... sometimes when least expected. In fact, it is uplifting to take charge of one's fate as well as remove unnecessary stresses and decisions for others to deal with during emotional times. Neptune Society had been recommended by a friend who also pre-prepared. The website is informative. I submitted a form and within minutes received a text to schedule conversation with a real person in Customer service. Jerrie McKibben Perez listened to my questions, concerns, specific requests and directions. She did NOT push me into any package deal nor take advantage of possible grief/depression/emotions as I had experienced in past with several funeral institutions while organizing services for family. One phone call to Neptune Society and they take charge of EVERYTHING. No hidden extra charges. Thank you Jerrie and Neptune Society. Peace of mind. Today I celebrate Life.
