Been in this waiting room since 710 am. It's now 8:29am. This place opens at 7 yet no one gets even seen the whole time they're open.

Got here at 7 am. Got put in a room at 715... Waited until 830am to be seen, mind you we were the first ones here. This place used to be quick but it's gone downhill fast. The staff is rude and I've never waited so long for the amount of people here.once I finally said something about the wait a doctor came in ten minutes later.

Been in the waiting room for over an hour!

It is very necessary to get there as soon as they open (7am) otherwise you'll be there for 5 plus hours.

Was referred to go here by P.A.L. I arrived at 4pm and waited 3 hours until I was seen. Horrible!

They hadn't even finished signing in and they took them to a room immediately. PA Laura didn't even even analyze the area I needed checked just said "I think" or "it could be" I asked if I can get a lab order and or get an MRI order to be sure everything's fine she stated it's not necessary. How would she know if nothing was checked just sat in front of me for a max of 5 mins and talked about the possibilities and said I was good to go.

It didn't look like eczema. He didn't even let me Explain, we told the nurse My son is a wrestler and they get They can catch different bacteria, and we thought it would be the impetigo because he wrestled with a kid that had it and the nurse didn't say nothing to the doctor. and the doctor was determined it was eczema Order prescription and cream. I recently went to this office for back and abdominal pain. Let me start out by saying that the…read moreonly reason they got 2 stars was because the doctor actually fixed my issue. Here are the reasons why they could not get a higher score: 1. The office is hard to find. It is located right behind Good Samaritan Hospital and is in a VERY run down building. I have pictures on my cell phone that I will try to attach later to this review. The building is dark, a little creepy and the wait times are crazy. 2. When I went in, there were no other patients. Zero. It was me, my wife, the receptionist and the Medical Assistant. I still had to wait half an hour to get back to the Medical Assistant and a total of an hour to see the physician. It wouldn't have been so bad if it had been packed but it was empty. Later on, I overhead the MA talking about checking her Facebook which didn't really make things better. 3. When I was checked in and placed into a room, I could hear everything the receptionist and MA were talking about. Everything. About 10 minutes into my wait in the exam room, the phone rang and it was clearly the physician. He asked the MA what I was there for (she told him). He also asked her if I was male or female and my age. Once she told him all of that (which everybody would have heard had I not been the only patient-the walls are paper thin), the physician took another 15 minutes to show up. I'm not sure if he works in another area of the hospital and only comes over when a patient shows up. 4. When the physician actually arrived though, he was very competent, polite, listened to my concerns and found out the exact issue that was wrong (that 3 other physicians had missed). He wrote me the right prescription and sent me on my way. 5. The doctor had said that I was going to get a call from the clinic to set me up for an ultrasound but that never came. I'll have to call next week and follow up on that after the holiday. At least I'm not in pain. Overall: 1. This clinic needs a severe overall in cleanliness, facility presentation, staff behavior and time management. 2. The physician was great but they should probably avoid calling it an urgent care unless the doctor is available sooner than an hour after you check in to an empty clinic. 3. On the administrative end, they should work on better follow-through from a nursing/scheduling standpoint. I should have received a follow up call the next day to check on my status and schedule my ultrasound. 4. If these things can be fixed, this clinic could make a lot of money. They are the only Urgent Care in Oildale. 5. Please, for safety's sake, light up your parking lot, put some better signage and make it a safer place to visit. Olive Drive and Chester Avenue aren't exactly the safest areas of Bakersfield.
