You know, after reading the single-starred reviews, I just shook my head in UTTER disbelief. Complete, utter disbelief. The individuals posting these single-starred reviews ought to be out and out ashamed of themselves! I mean WTF? REALLY? Oh, wait, - I get it! It's all about THEM! Never once thinking about the employees and what patient load they have, their responsibility in treating patients within the "standard of care" and legally accepted protocols that govern damn near every single F*ing thing in this F*ing state due to Gruesome Newsome - as well as caring for illiterate people who know absolutely nothing about decency, respect, and consideration for others - let alone medical treatments for diagnosed, as well as undiagnosed conditions! Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS. OMG! WELL, all you single-starred reviewers, I got NEWS for you. Our experience was absolutely one of concern, caring, respect and consideration for our situation. We politely requested if the TV could be turned down, and the staff bent over backwards trying to help. They couldn't get the TV remote to work, and instead of giving up, handed it to my husband (who can fix literally anything just by looking at something) and indeed, he got the TV volume reduced. NOW, how is that rude? How is it rude to ask someone to not "throw up on the floor" when throwing up on the floor causes others to become potentially exposed (in medical lingo called cross-contamination...OMG!) to whatever virus and/or bacteria the individual may have causing hyperemesis, as well as causing a tripping hazard, AND maybe making someone leave the urgent care sicker than when they came in catching that damn "throw-up" virus/bacteria!!! Use your damn BRAIN. Oh, wait, that's right...no one does that anymore because their brains are all stuck inside their iPhones...or "where the sun don't shine" - which is far more likely. P.S. A really big THANK YOU to "Ana" for being so considerate, CALLING US telling that she would walk out to the car to give a card left behind to us (when we came back) so we wouldn't have to come in to get it. My 19 year old son had a visit here today with the petite Caucasian female ( he has been multiple times). He has finally established a PCP but decided to come here today for an RX, she has been rude every time we have went and definitely need to go elsewhere and definitely will. He had a private conversation with her about his insurance & father & this is what she wrote on his discharge paperwork. Petite Caucasian female you are very very up their in age & I'm assuming have been doing this for many years. When your patients are having private conversation with you i hope you don't make all of them feel as horrible reading their paperwork as you did my son. This place is the worst urgent care I've ever been to, I took my son in because he had a soar throat and was running fever, the "doctor" or PH. Was super rude not only to me but to my 6 yr old son, he felt like he was gonna vomit, he already had a vomit bag, and she said, do not throw up on the floor, I was livid, I will NEVER go back there again. read more

My experience was great! As have been every time I have used Memorial Urgent Care. My wait time was very reasonable, however I went earlier in the day, had I gone later, I would have EXPECTED to have a much longer wait. I sought care for a severe sinus infection. As nurse (unknown to any of them), I can tell you every protocol was followed properly as was the diagnosis and treatment. Everyone was considerate, polite and friendly, as was I to them. Also, I did not have the attitude that I was the only patient to be seen. Upon leaving, they wished me well and hoped I felt better soon . We have been here several times, most recently when my husband was in a motorcycle accident. From the receptionist to the medical assistant and doctor who treated him, the staff was thorough and efficient. Blood work and xrays were done quickly and Dr. Sorenson was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in explaining his injuries to both of us, and answering all of my questions. I was equally impressed last year when I brought my daughter in after running a high fever for days. Staff was compassionate and efficient with her as well. This is our go to urgent care. read more

I heard multiple people come out of their rooms to complain about being here for hours waiting to be seen after already being put in a room. I been so scared about this corona virus and went to get test she just shunned me for not knowing all the details of corona virus Then she made a remark about me getting my son tested and said it wasn't a good idea because The test are traumatic & if I have it then my whole family has it . I decided to give this urgent care a try and I am so glad I did. I did not want to go into an actual hospital due to the pandemic and I was surprised at how this urgent care follows the cdc guidelines. The staff was really helpful and patient with me from the get go. The wait was comparable to other urgent care facilities I've been to and if I ever have a future emergency I would not think twice about coming back. read more

My appointment was at 10:15 and they just put you in a room in the back I sat there for 2 and 1/2 hours before anyone came in to see me. It is literally I joke at this place they don't care how long you sit there and wait as long as they get paid which is ridiculous. We were there for APPROXIMATELY 2 hours and to top it off the doctor never return back to the room to go over my results or neither to finish his round. We are visiting from San Diego to spend Thanksgiving with my husband's family. Our 18 month old daughter developed red cheeks, warm head, ear pulling, and nasal congestion so we wanted to have her ears checked to see whether it was teething or an ear infection. Called ahead to see if there was a wait and the receptionist answered "it's not bad." I asked about how long the wait was and she answered "I can't give you a number." I wanted to go to Accelerated Urgent Care because they have four stars and were much more polite and helpful on the phone, but this place was closer. I walked in and looked at the waiting room. One person. So I got my husband and daughter from the car and checked in. Neither receptionist was warm, polite, or welcoming. I filled out the papers and handed in my insurance card and ID as requested. After a few minutes they called me back up and told me, "we can't see her here. We don't accept your insurance." While I stood there, perplexed, trying to understand how an employee, insured person could not have their daughter seen at an urgent care, they just stared at me blankly. I asked if EMTALA laws don't apply here, the super rude girl said "No, we're private." Ok So we left the crappy, rundown, rude, private urgent care and went straight to Accelerated Urgent Care. We walked into a beautiful lobby and were greeted by a polite professional woman who checked our insurance and verified that they do accept it. Seems this worked out for the best. read more

From the outside it looks like a run down urgent care center, but when you go inside its not surprising that it looks run down as well. The aesthetics of the center is made up with the level care that is given to patients at this center. I was feeling a bit sick and came here to get checked up. Got here at 9AM... the receptionist acted like I was bothering her... she gave me the paperwork to fill out and then walked back to the other side to watch some kind of show on the computer I put the paperwork on the counter and waited and waited finally at 9:30ish I called her over and she acted like a total asshole. If these females just want to sit here and talk like little girls about BS not pertaining to their actual job than its a problem. She called someone while "processing" my paperwork to ask if the child was MAD. Ask me if Im mad I dont expect my ass kissed I do expect whomever is stationed up at the front desk to do their job professionally in a timely manner. NOT THE CASE HERE... as Im writing this AND WAITING the only person here. She is on the phone acting like she works for the DMV letting who she is talking to know that in California she can walk in and get a sticker for her license plate... uhhh okay how about getting me to the back so I dont need to hear your ridiculous conversation... UPDATE SHE IS THE MANAGER what a joke. I really like the PA that works here but to get to her is the problem. Went in for a UTI to get a prescription. present to them all proper insurance cards (Medicare and supplement insurance). the receptionist call the insurance company and didn't get a response because of the weekend. She refuse service. a signed promissory note wont do unless it is cash. these people see $$ more important than the welfare of their patient. read more

My husband broke his leg up in Glennville so driving him down I was trying to decide which urgent care to take him to. I usually go to accelerated but it was pretty far from where we were coming from. I was recommended to go to San Joaquin but that place is usually very very dirty. So I asked Siri on my phone where the nearest urgent care was and she told me memorial. This place was extremely clean and super fast service! We were in and out within 2.5 hours. That was checking in, getting his blood pressure done, a dr seeing him, X-rays done, and his cast put on. I will definitely keep this urgent care always in mind! read more

I found the girls at the front desk friendly and professional. Doctors, PA's, radiology and RN's/LVN's all treated me extremely well. This is a Urgent Care facility not an ER. Don't expect to be seen like you arrived in an ambulance. Sit down, play with your smart phone and relax! Only issue I had was that my insurance card was declined/inactive, so I had to pay out of pocket for my procedures. I would recommend. read more

Omg this place is extremely slow! Came in around 7:50 and the door says business hours are from 7am to 7pm, but the door is locked? Common sense says to knock, but wait, there's a sign for that too that states if the door is locked DO NOT knock.. So I find myself waiting outside the door for about 15 minutes before I decided to go next door and ask what the problem is. The lady looked confused and told me, "no the door isn't locked". So I'm lying? Is what I replied, and yes the door was locked and they didn't even know.. I get checked in by 8:10 and now I'm literally writing this review from one of the patient rooms which I have been waiting in for about an hour now, not to mention the 20 minutes in the lobby.. So in conclusion I've been here from 7:50 to now "9:34" and still have not seen 1 Doctor. Good luck, this place needs a new owner,management and a mop.. Floors are disgusting and some rooms have spit on the walls, I feel like I might catch something just being here. I ended up seeing the doctor by 11:10 and was out a little after 12. Brought my sister in for feeling light headed and numbness in her arms. Hardly no wait times however, the doctor was not helpful at all. I would give them less than one star but yelp requires at least one. Never, never go during the week because they have two waiting rooms. One for the urgent care and one for workman's comp. The doctor and PA see patients from both sides. After I was there for 5 hours, I finally was done and went to my local pharmacy where the staff at the urgent care told me they sent my prescription. You guessed it, the prescription was not there. I called the urgent care and staff assured me they sent it. I tried to have them speak with the pharmacy staff but the staff member said no she would send it again. I waited at the pharmacy for about 10 minutes and still it wasn't there. I told the pharmacy staff I would be back when they texted the prescription was filled. After two hours, I called the pharmacy and the staff said they still didn't have it. I called the urgent care staff and she said she didn't know what was wrong. When I asked her what I should do to get my prescription, she stated she didn't know. ????? I told her I would have the pharmacy staff call her. Which I did. Really!!!!! Also, I worried about the infection control. The chair in the exam room had several cracks--how do they sanitize that ? The paper used to cover the exam table was in an open box on the floor. Several items in the room needed repair--torn rubber base board and hole in the wall. Also, a uncovered supply cart containing sterile supplies was in the hallway where patients were going by coughing and sneezing. The only good thing would be if you needed to be transported to the hospital; it is only a block away. You might want to go there, it should be about the same amount of time. read more

My elderly mother has been treated there quite a few times in the past, some were fairly quick (1 - 2 hours in and out), generally 2-3 hours which is less than waiting in the ER, but on Monday 7/9/18 was the worst ever - 4.5 hours in and out. She had a head injury - too bad she wasn't bleeding all that much otherwise she would have given a better priority. We were in early (8am) but they already apparently had a ton of people on the occupational health side waiting to be seen and was very short staffed. The rooms and overall interior of the facility is not very clean - dirty and damaged walls, stains on floor, and overall upkeep is very poor. The hospital should be embarrassed to be associated with that facility since it is so poorly cleaned and maintained. The patient care has been good all times she went there, with helpful staff and good care by the PA's, but we will not be using this place again! When you go there, you are not the only patients that are vying for the limited resources. Their moneymaker is the occupational health side, and that is where their resources apparently are focused. I guess they get paid to get hurt employees back to their job ASAP, but the general urgent care part is not a priority. With well over a dozen centers like this one within 10 miles, we will give another one a try. By the way, this is not really run by Memorial Hospital. It looks like Dr. Vernon Sorenson is the owner and probably pays a royalty to Memorial. read more

My daughter went to this Urgent Care facility on April 22, 2014 with a fever of 103. She got there about 7:30 just after they opened at 7:00 am and the waiting room was already packed! After a 3 hour wait because no Dr's started seeing patients of the Urgent Care side until 9:00 am two hours after they opened. The dr did give her antibiotics and cough medicine after seeing her in the hall way, she wasn't even put in a room. I guess patient confidentiality is not important to this facility any more then prompt urgent care service is. It has now been two days since her visit, while she is feeling better she is still not up to going into work (she is a waitress). I called them today to see if they could give her a note for work for two more days they only gave her a note for that one day. I was informed by the nurse my daughter would have to be seen again in order to get a dr.'s note for work. I told the nurse well that would not happen since she waited for 3 hours last time to see a dr due the fact there was no dr there until 9:00. The nurse said no we had dr.'s here however they see patients with appointments on the other side which is a clinic. You would think they would have enough common courtesy to inform urgent care patients there won't be a dr for 2-3 hours! DO NOT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE go to BFMC, Professional urgent care, Accelerated urgent care or any where but Memorial urgent care!!!!!! Have to give a star to post it doesn't even deserve one star read more

They should just close this place. I can not believe how long it takes to be seen...this is URGENT care, right? Someone should teach them the meaning of the word. We've been here for hours, including 1 1/2 hours in a room waiting for the doctor after over an hour in the waiting room. When we finally asked if we could just get our co-pay back since we have been waiting hours and are ready to just go home, they shrugged and said, "Sure."-no, "I'll check to see what's taking so long" or "the doctor is almost ready to see you" or "I'm sorry it's taking so long"-just a very indifferent, "Sure". The wait time is horrendous and the fact that the same women that were just laughing and talking about how tired they were today and blah blah blah about their personal lives could not be bothered to make any attempt to act 'urgently' or like they were in a professional setting with sick and hurt people is worse.
