I've been coming to centric urgent for a few years. Raving from infections and dealing with bladder cancer (side issues). Each visit I was made to feel comfortable, calm and relaxed. I've seen a few great People there, one stood out. Kim hatton, nurse practitioner. This woman, went above and beyond yesterday to help my husband who'd been in an MVA the week prior. I wanted to give this urgent care a shot because it is new, really close to my neighborhood, near my favorite Mexican food spot, and takes my PPO insurance according to my insurance website. I had to pop in for a pretty typical urgent care need this week. They have a sign on the outside of the door letting you know to call in first, because I believe the waiting room is closed down for now as a covid precaution. The MA led me back to a room to fill out my paperwork. Ive been to clinics that use paper or apps, and I have to say I prefer the apps and online functions for getting medical stuff filled out. Its also way more convenient for paying the bills later, so I was a little bummed it was paper because my handwriting sucks but that is no big deal. Most places haven't upgraded that. I had to do some simple testing. Quick and easy. The MA was super nice and easy to talk to, which is cool because I have major doctors anxiety and I was also having a bad day so that cheered me up a bit and eased my clinic anxieties. The actual doctor I met with was very nice and knowledgeable and explained everything pretty well, and seemed very genuinely helpful. I have no major complaints. This was a good place to go for urgent care and convenient. The reason for the 4 stars for me is my experience was good but not great, like some of the other urgent cares in town ive been to. The clinic was a ghost town (pretty sure I was the only patient) so I was hoping it would be a little quicker, but it was about average time wise. I also was disappointed the hours are 8am to 5pm. I wanted to try this spot months ago but the hours shortened right now so I have never been able to use them until this week due to that inconvenience.. Overall, I would recommend this spot for simple issues and friendly, helpful staff and would have no qualms about using them again. Good experience overall. read more

I am loving all these urgent care locations that keep popping up around town! This location is fairly new, was a little confusing to get to among all the other driveways and medical offices around, and the wait time was totally ridiculous. My little one got hurt and we wanted her to be seen too make sure it wasn't anything more serious. We were the only people there and I waited about 5 minutes at the counter to be greeted. I completed the new patient paperwork and paid my co-pay. Let me remind you we were the only people there at this time. My sobbing baby and I sat there waiting for at least another 10 mins to be taken back for her vitals and to be put into a room. Then, my sobbing baby and I waited another 15-20 mins in the room for the doctor who checked her out and said they would give her an ice pack and water. WE WAITED ANOTHER 20 MINS FOR THE ICE PACK, then another 10ish for her to return and say we could go. Apparently there was an emergency where someone came to the urgent care and should have gone to the emergency room, so we had to wait because the doctor was attending to that. You guys, I am not one to complain too much about the wait in medical offices, but spending over an hour there with a hurt little and no updates as to why it was taking so long until the VERY end of the visit...I have better access at other Urgent Care facilities closer to home. Then they billed me because they didn't charge me correctly for my co-pay. facepalm. 0/10 will return! read more

Not an urgent care at all! I came here for COVID testing and I waited for 3 hours!!! After possibly 5 follow-ups on when I'm going to get called. They kept on giving you the "we'll call you as soon as possible" that never happened. If you can go to a different place to be seen, go somewhere else. I mean, go somewhere else. read more

Wife had flu like symptoms so made appointment with her Dr. 9:30 We get there 8:50 waiting room was busy, one hr.goes by then two wife asks why everyone else that walk in after her were being called. Her response was deferent providers. Ok but still irritating. So for a 9:30 appointment turned into a 12:30 appointment smh. And her dr. wasn't even there! Chose this place because it's right around the corner from my house and they are in network with my insurance. The girl on the phone said I could walk in but the last appt would be 4:15. I got there handed the sign in paper the lady in the front she looked at me in disbelief that I could possibly be there for a visit??? and asked" are you wanting to be seen?" I said yes she replied " well it's 4:15??" I said the girl on the phone said the last appt would be 4:15 she said she would go ask the Dr if he would see me. She came back and said no he won't see you today. So unprofessional and they should make adjustments to their closing time it doesn't make since for someone to tell you a time then the other lady tell you different ! So upset will never go there if it was the last Dr office / present urgent care on earth I will for sure pass this around. States open till 5 but doesn't stay open till 5. Told it depends which seems vague. I use this facility because they are affiliate with my primary as well as a few of my specialist. Service is great from the attending just very inconvenient to have set...NOT set hours of operations. read more

Poor excuse for an urgent care... don't waste your time or money going here!!! The first time I went, I had a sharp pain in my rib cage. The doctor freaks me out by immediately saying it's probably my gall bladder and if it bursts, I'll likely die. Of course I'm worried all night about it and they have to wait til the morning to get an ultrasound. They didn't send the orders to Kern radiology so I couldn't get my ultrasound. I was freaked out so I ended up going to another doctor the next day who confirmed it was, in fact, only a cracked rib that would be uncomfortable, but had no real threat to my health and would heal on its own. Fast forward a couple weeks.. my daughter comes home from school with a very painful foot.. in tears, hurting.. husband decides to try this urgent care again because everyone deserves a second chance (I guess).. they send my 7 year old home saying "it's growing pains".. two days later she can't walk so I rush her to the ER. Turns out she had a life and limb threatening bone infection that cost us 5 days in the hospital and $32,000 to save her foot from amputation. The hospital says if it was caught sooner it would not have been so serious. I cannot believe these "doctors" are still in practice. Absolutely disgusting "medical facility" read more

Visit took about 1 hr 20 minutes. Receptionist does not greet you so stand there awkwardly. The doctor spent only one minute with me. Prescribed antibiotics and left. No testing or anything. Just a visual. Took the medicine for a couple days and felt worse. read more

This was my first trip to this urgent care. I had heard lots of great things and was not disappointed. I got in promptly and all my needs were taken care of by Dr. Rodriguez and her friendly staff. Very modern, clean and nice facility. Waiting room is large so you can find a seat away from other sick folks. I highly recommend Centric Urgent Care. read more

I was there for a sinus infection, tested negative for COVID, blood pressure was taken, PA or doctor, never entered the exam room, PA stood at the door way,never check lungs for bronchitis or pneumonia, I do not recommend this facility, you would be better off going to a drug store for help, this is very sad read more

Horrible experience!!!! Left this Urgent Care in way worse condition. I went in for pain and was giving an injection by the nurse whom was super busy gossiping on the phone during my visit. She gave me a shot and told me to wait 15 mins and if I didn't have a reaction I was free to leave. She left the room, closed the door, and never laid the chair back. Well, apparently I have a reaction, passed out and landed face down. I had a hard time coming around so I was sent to the Heart Hospital to check for a brain bleed. Now, my arthritis, lupus, and three bulging disc or in the way worst condition and I racked up a $5000 doctor bill. I was in so much more pain after the fall I could not return to work. DO NOT GO HERE you have so many options! read more

I was so impressed they had my medical records from Central Cardiology and after my visit, my primary care provider was able to see everything on my next visit. 2020 gave me one final gift on NYE day, an awful and painful situation in a delicate area. I have never been to an Urgent Care facility, but being New-ish in town, I really don't have a local care GP or anything. I picked one from the internet- and hoped for the best. From the very very first phone call, when I called to ask, "Is this the sort of thing that you bring to an Urgent Care place?" to my follow up visit yesterday with Kim, the friendliness, the professionalism and the care provided exceeded anything I expected. And I am not sure what I expected- the chaos of an emergency room? I've watched too much television and kind of expected...the worst. Let me tell you how wrong I was. This is a nicer health care facility than my last doctor's office! Clean, modern, well run. Exceptional attention to screening and moving you quickly into a room for Covid-safety. They pre-checked me in from the car & settle you in right away. The nurses who work there were extremely friendly, good natured, good humored and helpful. I knew immediately that I had made the right choice to come to Centric. Resolving my issue was less than fun for me, but the ENTIRE time, I felt like I was in good hands. Dr. Rodriguez has an amazing bedside manner. She listened to me, gave me options, talked me through the pain (seriously, ouchie..) and honestly is one of the best doctors I have ever had. And I am really, really picky. She fixed me up, gave me excellent and easy to follow after care instructions- while the nurses were kind and supportive and responsive. They were quick, friendly and helpful. I can't thank them enough. When I returned for my follow up, they remembered me (with a glance at my chart) and were kind, attentive and had a good sense of humor about the situation I had been in (joking is my comfort mechanism!). I met with Kim, an NP, I think.. and she was just as amazing! She made sure I was healing up properly, reminded me to finish my antibiotics (trust me, I am!) and with some kind words about how well I was doing, sent me on my way. Honestly, I cannot say enough about the whole staff. I am not only SO grateful, but I am now comforted to know that I have an urgent care center that I know and trust. Excellent in every way. My daughters have been there several times. Last August I was extremely sick and had to go to the emergency room by ambulance. I was vomiting so often and so hard I became extremely dehydrated. The doctor in the E.R. had no idea what was wrong with me. I had to have 3,000 cc's of fluids by I.V. During my 12 hours in the E.R., my 17 year old daughter started having the same symptoms. My oldest daughter took her to Buena Vista urgent care. Not only did the doctor treat the 17 year old and stop the progression of this horrible virus, he also diagnosed it correctly. When my daughter called me at the E.R. and told me the diagnosis I shared it with the E.R. doctor and it turned me around in just a few hours. read more

I was seen by a doctor who was totaly thorough with my exam. I was in and out with prescription in 20 minutes. I would highly recommend this place. read more

Great facility!! State of the art with excellent staff working there!! They gave me a proper diagnosis for pneumonia after the idiot "medical professional" at Urgent Care in Brimhall/Coffee said it was asthma. These guys immediately did a chest x-ray, properly diagnosed me, and got me going on anti-biotics. All of if the staff I interacted with were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and caring from the receptionist, to the x-ray tech, the nurse, and the PA. All were TRUE medical professionals!! Seems like they have great health-team chemistry and really enjoy working with each other as they were all socializing and having fun together as I was the only patient in the entire facility. The staff during my visit last night was very unprofessional. I was greeted by a receptionist who was sucking on sunflower seeds and using her fingers to put her empty shells in the trash. Let's just say I was grossed out from the experience with her. Other than the receptionist, the facility is very clean and very new. The doctor took a while and was slow considering I was the only patient there when I visited. All in all I probably won't go back to this urgent care but was convenient for me to stop by for what I needed. read more

This place is a life-saver. I had the worst infected ingrown toenail and I could barely walk. My own primary care doctor was useless and just prescribed antibiotics but I still needed the nail removed. This urgent care was my last hope because I could barely walk while I was at work. They got me in the procedure room in about 30 minutes, numbed me up, and then ripped the ingrown nail out. The relief was immediate and they prescribed me ibuprofen and sent me on my way in less than two hours. Not too shabby! I can now walk and my toe is healing wonderfully. My only complaint? The chairs in the waiting room are uncomfortable lol read more

I tried......I really did. Centric is close to my house so I went online to make an appointment. It didn't work. After inputing all information and selecting a time I clicked the button to "make an appointment"......my information went away and a note came up saying essentially......"thank you for your inquiry, we will contact you soon" After waiting a half hour with no contact I called. The person answering the phone said "let me check" "yeah I see you here".......as if she was doing me a favor to answer the phone. I showed up for my appointment only to find a note on the door saying they were out for two hours. I guess it was too much trouble to call me so I could have gone elsewhere rather than waste my time read more

Don't go here. The doctors don't know what they're doing. My husband went in there the other day to get an EKG for a surgery clearance. They told him that it looked like he was having a heart attack. He's only 22. So they sent him to a cardiologist they referred. $325 dollars and an ultrasound on a healthy heart. The cardiologist said he looks fine. They cost me money out of pocket and a lot of stress and worry. It's clear to say they don't know what they're doing. I'd avoid going to this place. I seriously regret this decision.
