Highly recommend this urgent care! There is never a wait, the physicians are attentive and patient and the place is very clean. We try and see our primary care physicians for most everything, but occasionally we have a more urgent issue and this is the only place my family will go. Recently I had something going on with my heart rate and being that I've got some other stuff going on - I was worried. I felt silly going in to check my heart rate, since i was pretty sure it was not an emergency but I needed to make sure all was well. I was treated with nothing but kindness and professionalism even though I probably looked like a hypochondriac! We've also been here for a couple of nasty colds/bronchitis, an appendicitis scare and I believe a sprained ankle. Don't make an appt if you're thinking about it [[HIGHLIGHT]]I waited almost an hr and they prioritize their coworkers kids they had came in way after me and another patient.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They hadn't even finished signing in and they took them to a room immediately. PA Laura didn't even even analyze the area I needed checked just said "I think" or "it could be" I asked if I can get a lab order and or get an MRI order to be sure everything's fine she stated it's not necessary. I took My Son in Because he started breaking out on his skin with open wounds , I was in the waiting room for an hour. They call us back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the assistant doing the triage was very sweet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Doctor visit was a joke. I went in with a sore throat, achy bones, Listless, asthma flareups and headache. She did not even look at my throat. She listened to my lungs as distant as she could. And explained the difference between virus and bacteria. And therefore no need for antibiotics. Ok. that's fine. She was sending someone in for a pneumonia swab test. Well, I thought my lungs sounded ok according to her. A gentleman came in for the swab. But it was a nasal swab. Not typically used for checking for pneumonia. So, checking for covid? I mentioned my husband had the same thing before me and he had tested negative for covid. So was this done under false pretenses? Not a big deal, I suppose, but I was not advised that she wanted to test for this. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was very disappointed in this experience. The only issue is the wait times; I've experienced faster wait times at other urgent cares without an appointment, but this place is worth the wait. Little to no attention or compassion to care. We came in because my son seemed to have sprained his ankle and [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ruby, the front receptionist was extremely rude and disregarded the reason for his visit, completely cut us off mid sentence and told us to just check in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My sons ankle was blatantly swollen and he was in extreme pain, we came here for urgent care as the facility reads and is supposed to be known for. Yet, (after check in and being seen), my son was waiting for the doctor to come back into the room for a resolution. I overheard that same doctor and another medical assistant state "Yeah, they could've just gone to the ER most people come here thinking they can get away with just getting their drugs maybe he's pretending." Mind you they provided him crutches and a compression band, did not take any x-rays and told us to come back another day since he might have a tiny fracture, those same crutches broke as we got home. Completely disappointed and sad at the lack of attention to patients and stereotyping. This is my place to go if have an emergency always fast and efficient... However today 12/21/23 i was extremely disappointing in regards the lack of sympathy.. Dr was sarcastic, short and rude... phlebotomist was extremely short, rude and was ignoring my daughter's question... when we asked the forth time what "type of lab work" it was she ignored us 3 times.. then said.. wait.. the proceeds to say Never-mind... there was zero sympathy, she was very unprofessional and moved needle inside my daughters arm because the blood was too thick and it was hard to get her blood... she was not being careful at all... she removes the needle, then proceeds to let her bleed all over the waiting chair because she didn't put on a cotton-ball to stop the bleeding.. the phlebotomist had to change my dr's excuse for me and my daughter because they kept doing It wrong...(no date, wrong name, i didn't get mine, my daughters was only 1 day off instead of 2) etc.. phlebotomist said she will do the other arm then left... by this time.. we were over of the lack of Professionalism and decided to cancel blood work so we can go somewhere else... I work in medical field and I completely understand the stress during cold and flu season.. however there was no excuse to act the way they did.... I called this office 3 -4 hours after my cyst surgery and told them about the pain I was having in my arm, I mean it was hurting bad, I was told that the provider didn't think it was necessary to give me anything for pain. The provider was Marie the nurse practitioner.... I ended up pulling my own staples out. They told me they would refer me to a Dermatologist which was a week later.... I came here last year after having some pain in my upper right abdomen. At the time I was 6 months pregnant so the pain was concerning and this place was right down the street from my work. The check in was pretty standard. Lots of duplicate questions and forms to fill out before they will see you. I told them my concern and waited, probably about 25-30 minutes which was fine with me. They called me back and immediately wanted me to do a urinalysis.......okay? I figured it was standard since I was pregnant. After being put in a room, I'm told I have a significant UTI, in addition to my abdominal pain, which they could not treat and recommended I go for an ultrasound ASAP. Before I left, they treated me for the UTI with a shot and some prescriptions. I called my OBGYN to ensure I was okay to take the meds prescribed, and they recommended I come in right away to be checked (had I known that was an option at the time I would have gone straight to my doctor. Lesson learned). They also did a urinalysis (within an hour of the other test) and assured me not only did I NOT have a UTI, but didnt need the medication prescribed or the antibiotic injection. I was treated by this urgent care facility for a condition I didn't have.....while pregnant. Luckily my doctor assured me I shouldn't have adverse effects from the treatment, but I definitely didn't need the injection they charge me for. I will not come here again if I can help it. It's clear they try to rack up your bill so they can charge your insurance more for services. It's not about proper care here or quality medicine, it's all about how much they can bill. read more

Just keeping it 1Million... took my daughter for a physical made an appointment for 10:10am showed up at 9:45 because early is always a good thing, well at least not here . Wait about an hour and a half for my daughter to be seen, it took a whole 2 minutes for the physical from start to finish and then told to wait for a form that takes another 20 minutes to be copied and given to you. I got fed up after 15 minutes of waiting for a copy I opened the door and said" excuse me but I have shit to do and I just need the copy of the physical to leave!"... at that moment 3 workers who where just sitting talking reached for form that was right in front of then and obviously one of them grabbed it , made a copy and within 15 seconds I was leaving. Whats really infuriating is that they think people have absolutely nothing to do but wait and that's just not ok. I hate wasting time for any reason....Now I'm just trying to figure out WTF is the point of an appointment if I'm still made to wait a whole hour to be seen, Fukn disappointing when this type of stuff goes on. I normally don't give such low reviews, but I can't stand getting my time wasted. I called before I went and was assured they weren't busy and I would be seen quickly. Not true. I got there and signed in and was told to wait outside. Their program tells you where you are on line. Would creep up on the list then get pushed back down again. I was told that the list wasn't accurate and I was next. I started at 9:30am and received a call at 11:35am asking me what I wanted to be seen for. So they didn't even bother to read the paperwork I had already submitted. Due to other obligations, I had already left. I'll never go back. This was the worst Dr visit of my life. The Dr was very dismissive of my concerns. He wouldn't even listen to what I had to say. He seemed like he had no idea what he was doing. I payed out of pocket for a physical. As soon as they called me back they just sent me to a room. The doctor came in a few minutes later asking why I was there. I told him I was just there for a check up because I wasn't feeling well. I told him everything on why I was there and he told me that it was all in my head. I have brought my kids here each time they needed a school physical for sports and when they are seriously I'll or hurt. I never had a problem until now. The Drs are good and the staff as well however I'm disappointed that they are now stating they created a policy to keep a credit card on file. I fortunately have insurance and have always paid my copayment as well as any bills that my insurance did not cover. They proceeded to state that they are the last office to require credit card payment on file and if you do not want to you have to leave a 100 dollar cash deposit. I told them that neither is going to happen. They said that the reason they are doing this is because a lot of patients insurance coverage does not go through and they have many open balances. I do not see where that fits in to patients that do pay. I do not give my credit card information to anyone so they can charge it if it's available. Paying a deposit over the cost of an office visit so a balance can be floated into the account is not how business works. Being an accountant for over 30 years and this policy just does not sit well with me!! Do better office management!! Why don't you check the insurance before hand and you won't have that problem. read more

My son has been there twice now the front desk sent him directly to the back even without me finishing his paperwork because of the possible severity of his injury and my concern. This last time was last night. The staff is very calming kind and informative. My son is 18 but it didn't make the injury any less scary ( it was to his eye area as well as cheek jaw shoulder knee.) This is awesome. When I'm sick and don't want to wait for an appointment with my doctor I don't have to go to the west side anymore for an Urgent Care. It is located right next to the Rite aid, off Mt Vernon. It is a brand new building, very nice, clean, big comfortable waiting area, comfortable seats, check in was hassle free and the staff were all very professional and friendly. I'm sure depending on how busy they are, but for me my check in and consultation was quick. This is an excellent Urgent care with an excellent doctors and staff.
