It was around 7:45pm on Saturday, May 2, 2026 when I (Asian customer) stopped in to purchase a WiFi…read moremodem. It was not busy and there were about 3-4 younger guys (different races) standing around talking. It was about 3-4 minutes until a taller man (Caucasian) who greeted me and asked if I had some questions about a WiFi modem. I told him I did and (on his headset) asked if someone could help me out (since he was in the middle of helping a customer). No one came and the 3-4 younger guys were still gathered around talking. When I was within 6 feet of them, they all saw me, but instead of asking me if I needed any help, they asked the Caucasian customer who was leaving if he needed any help. I had the intention of buying a WiFi modem, but they refused service to me and I felt so belittled that I was about to leave. Luckily, the taller man - who just got done assisting a customer - came back and approached me and answered all of my questions. Because of his help, I ended up purchasing the WiFi modem. BTW, there was another Asian customer who did not receive any help, but luckily the taller man acknowledged the customer and helped him outs. Unfortunately I did not catch the taller man's name. I had to write this review because I believe this was a case of blatant discrimination based on my race and the way I looked, especially when they clearly saw me (because I made eye contact with them) and they refused to help me, but acknowledged the Caucasian customer who was leaving. I should have asked for the taller man's name because he was so helpful (5 stars for him) but because the blatant discrimination, I'm giving 1 star.

I have seen the giga lines for Micro Center during the graphics card boom. Horrifying, but I feel like that's what mostly contributes to the super low ratings here, and a LOT of them, mind you. But it also might be due to people malding at spending a lot of money on something that didn't work for them. I was here window shopping, we are not the same. Plenty of parking the Saturday afternoon that we went. There was staff everywhere in every section, 2-3 of them even, who were ready and there to answer questions or guide you to where you need to go. Definitely a tech nerd's paradise if anything. They have a Tech Bar there, a station to build your own computer, and I think the most unique thing that they have here is the extensive in person shopping for 3D printers and the different color filaments, if you're into that as a hobby. There's things for gamers (even a lot of set up for gaming racers - a lot of which I have never seen before then), people who like to build and DIY things, consumer electronics, and even figurines and toys, for kids who are there too, I suppose. Brenda was professional, friendly , knowledgeable and above all extremely patient. Brenda patiently waited for me to locate various passwords in order to transfer the data on my old iPhone to the new. If one option failed Brenda continued to guide me through other options so we could complete each task. After all was said and done all the data on my old iPhone was successfully transferred. My wife and daughter were in attendance and they were both impressed with Brenda. My daughter will return to purchase the next generation iPhone and she'll be requesting assistance from Brenda.

I like the bigbox stores but wanted to keep my business local this time. I remembered Dave's store off PCH in Dana Point where Stack's Pancakes is now. Sure enough the brick and mortar store is gone but Dave still runs a virtual store from the UPS store in Dana Point up the street off PCH. I gladly spent over $300 between the two computers that I thought were dead. All my data stayed intact and both desktops work better than when new. Dave not only earned my business, he earned my trust. That's a hard fought accomplishment. My next stop will be having Dave build our next PC. He helped me realize I purchased junk, but still able to bring both of my problem prone desktops back to life.
