    We bought Best Buy membership for Geek Squad for years. Used to buy $99 a year but now $199, plus you have you pay for the virus and Trend Micro software, so it is almost $300/year. What do you get? Horrible service and protection. But if you don't have it and got virus or problems with your computer, it will be expensive to fix it! Even with appointments, you have to wait forever. If you do an online service request, it will take forever to get an agent (sometimes up to 2 hours). And you don't really know who you're getting or talking with. They're looking through everything on your computer behind the screen once you allow them to connect (and this has nothing to do with fixing the computer issues). It's a very frustrating transaction. If you bring your computer to the store, they will keep your computer for a week to 10 days for just a normal "tune-up". Used to be just a day or two, then you can swing by to pick up your computer. We came by the other night for our appointment and waited forever. There was only one guy in the Geek Squad department serving about 7 customers. The list goes on and on. So hard to find a good and trustworthy person to fix your computer issues these days.

    Good experience. My wife needed a new computer to work from home, the iMac (since 2015) was still good, but not very compatible with her work's software. We went online on BestBuy, compared a few all-in-one computers, we decided to get one of them (HP). Ordered online, the order was ready in less than one hour at this location in Mission Viejo. This was a Tuesday afternoon (Around 5 pm), the store was empty, only had a very few customers so the pick up was very quick. Showed the email confirmation bar code, and it was done. In and out in less than 15 minutes. It was a very good experience overall. Great value for what we got. Lots of options.

    This is our neighborhood Best Buy, where we often shop or seek help from the Geek Squad. Today, I came to buy headphones for my sister. I asked four associates for help in that section, but most were busy after I waited 20 minutes. Luckily, Anton helped us choose between Beats and Apple headphones. At checkout, the Best Buy card I was using was in my husband's name and had expired. Anton explained he couldn't access my husband's account without him, which makes sense. Then, Kyle, another staff member, informed us about the store's policy on account lookups--though I was surprised because he hadn't asked if we needed help beforehand. We were talking to Anton, and no one had asked for Kyle's input. That upset me, but I was discussing storing our items with Anton, who said items can't be saved even for a few hours. When my husband arrived, we asked to speak with the manager. They directed us to Andrew, the supervisor. We shared our concerns about Kyle's rude comments and how they made us feel embarrassed. Andrew apologized and said he would address the customer service manners with Kyle.

    The installers dented the door and then dashed off to their next job taking no responsibilty for their carelessness. This is unacceptible.

I told him I'm still looking around and would approach him if I need help. this guys's name is Ahmed ( sounds like ) When I approached him and had a few questions about the water filter of a fridge specifically where the water filter is located on a certain model of the fridge. he answers back cockingly it should be here where every thing is placed. however when I asked him how to replace it he did not even know how to do it. so I told him I need to know how coz my old fridge I had difficulty changing the filter. he answers back it's not going to be much easier. Thats when I had to say something coz clearly he does not have good customer service. I asked him his name and if I could speak to his manager. His non verbal movement could clearly show he just wants to sell and not even entertain any questions about their products. He makes the excuse that I am new to this branch : department thats why he doesn't know anything about the appliances in that area. He said his only been there 7 months. That made me more frustrated, 7 months and you don't have any idea about how to replace a water filter on a fridge. Anyways , just to share my experience with this sales man

    I've had my PlayStation 5 since the console first launched, and up until recently it had been…read morerunning great. Over the past year, however, I started experiencing an issue where the system would randomly shut off while I was playing. The first time it happened, I assumed it was just dust buildup. I watched a few videos, removed the side panels, cleaned the fans, used compressed air, and thankfully that solved the problem for quite a while. Recently the issue returned, and this time cleaning it myself didn't help. After doing more research, I learned about a common PS5 issue involving the liquid metal inside the system Because my console had been stored vertically since day one using Sony's official vertical stand, years of use had apparently caused the liquid metal to shift enough to create overheating problems. I started calling around for repair options and was being quoted turnaround times of 7-10 days. Then I remembered seeing videos from InstaFix on TikTok where they specifically discussed this exact PS5 issue and showed how they repair it. I called their Lake Forest location and spoke with YZ. Right away he was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer my questions. Since the Fourth of July holiday was coming up, I asked about turnaround time and was honestly shocked when he told me most PS5 repairs like mine could be completed in about an hour to an hour and a half. I drove over from Orange County, dropped off my console, and YZ walked me through what they would be looking for and what the repair process involved. True to his word, about an hour later I received a text that my PlayStation was finished and ready for pickup. When I arrived, YZ explained exactly what they found, what they repaired, and what I could do moving forward to help maximize the life of the console. What I appreciated most was that he wasn't trying to upsell me on additional services. In fact, he told me my PS5 was actually in pretty good shape overall and that the repair they performed should resolve the issue. The repair also came with a one-year warranty, which gave me additional peace of mind. The total cost was $150, and personally I felt that was completely fair. Some people may look at that number and hesitate, but when you consider that a new PS5 costs well over $500, the expertise required to perform the repair correctly, and the fact that I got my console back fully repaired in about an hour, the value was obvious to me. In a world where it's becoming harder and harder to find businesses that combine expertise, honesty, fair pricing, and excellent customer service, InstaFix absolutely delivered. YZ treated me with respect, communicated clearly throughout the process, and got me back to gaming the same day. If you're dealing with PS5 overheating issues, random shutdowns, liquid metal concerns, or any other console repair, I would not hesitate to recommend InstaFix. This was one of the easiest and most professional repair experiences I've had in a long time.
