The portion size was more than enough and came with a whole egg and 3 pieces of meat, which was very satisfying. Both broths were incredibly flavourful, and the black sesame broth was especially unique - unlike anything we've tried before. We also ordered the croquette and katsu, and both were delicious. Bonus I love how they served salad and radish. Definitely unlike other ramen places. The restaurant was very clean, including the washroom, which is always appreciated. Service was excellent as well, even though our server was managing several other tables at the same time. Overall, a fantastic meal and experience. I'll definitely be back to try their omurice!

I ordered the gyoza and tomato king. I find the noodles to be cold. The restaurant seems to be spacious but there were a few tables weren't cleaned so the sever had to look for clean table for us (even though it wasn't busy at all). The servers weren't attentive at all.

Newly opened ramen resturant in VMC area....we came for a weeknight dinner and were sorely disappointed. The appetizers were okay, but seemed like something that came from a frozen packet and then just fried. The main ramen wasnt bad....but was the same concept and seemed to come from a packet Overall okay for a cheap bite but definitely lacks quality

    Chicken Cutlet Dry King Aburao

This place was recently opened in the Vaughan Mills plaza, and I had a great experience here. Food was actually pretty good. The Original King Butao had a rich bone broth flavour, and it wasn't as salty as other ramen places, so it was great. The Chicken Cutlet Dry King Aburao is a dry noodle dish. The udon noodles were soft and easy to chew, and they gave a whole chicken cutlet, which was amazing. The chicken was meaty and tender, covered with crunchy batter. The whole dish was only $14.99, which made it even more amazing. The place is clean. I took a quick glance at their kitchen in the back - it looked pretty clean too. They also have a Cotti Coffee counter by the entrance, which is an interesting combo. Service was very attentive. They explained the menu to us clearly, refilled water and brought extra napkins timely. The staff was also very patient with elderly diners. The only thing was that the washroom wasn't working very well, but it didn't impact the overall positive dining experience. Hope they can keep it up. It is in the same strip mall across from Vaughan Mills. It's actually next to chatime. We went on a sunday near noon and we were able to park right in front of the restaurant. Ambiance - 4/5: small place. They have cartoon versions of ramen, soft boiled eggs, gyozas. Because I can read Chinese, I understood the writings on the wall. There are 2 universal bathrooms. One is big enough for patrons who may have a disability. There was no hand soap though. Service: 4/5 - we were seated quickly. They were going to ask us to sit at one spot and then the server realized it was still dirty and brought us to another table. The food took a little bit of time to come. They offered us a water refill near the end. But that's ok, we ordered other drinks with our meal. Food: 4/5 - we ordered: -tomato king: tomato forward, but the soup base taste a little ketchup-y to me or at least, it doesn't taste like a pure broth from tomato -dark king: black seasame flavour. I thought it was black garlic flavour. When it first came out, I got a hit of a strong roasted flavour. I added a little bit of money to get pork rib. They onlh give you 2 long pieces. It wasn't the most tender but it also wasn't the toughest, so somehwere in the middle. -in general, the of the ramen was cold, despite a lot of steam coming out. You have to mix it thoroughly with the bottom, where that is the hottest. It comes with a shredded nappa cabage salad (not all evenly chopped but the dressing is nice) and picked radish with a raw garlic chip. I'm surprised the pickled radish was actuallt spicy -gyoza: the wall says it's home made. It's decent but I can't tell if it's really home made -can of coco cola -mango pomelo delight: I chose 50% and it was very sweet. It's either full, 50% or no sugar. It's like the mango pomelo sago dessert as a blended drink. I will probably go with 0% sugar next time Overall: 4/5 - it's decent for a fast meal.

The pork char siu slices were very thin, and for the price, it didn't really feel worth it. Flavor-wise it was okay, but nothing beyond expectations. The chicken karaage was even more overpriced. $9.2 for just 4 small pieces - so basically ~$2.5 a bite, not worth it. Overall, it didn't really aligned with our expectations. We thought it was in a corner of the plaza so the price would have been reasonable, turned out that it wasn't really. Probably wouldn't revisit. Spicy white sesame shio (4/5) - I thought the flavour was good except the meat was a little lacking. Black sesame tantan (3/5) - This was probably the weakest out of all the ramen we got, not bad but also not too good. Stone bowl shoyu (4/5) - This one had the best flavour and there were lots of toppings. There's less broth compared to noodles though so if prefer more soup, then this might not be for you. Service was quick and food came out fairly quickly after placing the order. Not a big space but there's enough tables. We went during lunch and it was empty.

My rating is 4.5 stars. I'll round up…read more Kinton Ramen currently has a handful of BOGO (buy one item, get another for free) deals happening on Uber Eats. All my Kinton Ramen visits never consisted of a BOGO deal, so I was happy to change things up. I didn't realize that Vaughan had a Kinton Ramen. I know that one has recently opened at CF Markville Mall. However, I was running errands west of Markham and this location was on my way to them. I ordered the following items: - Golden duo with thick noodles - Yuzu cheesecake Both were BOGO deals. I got an estimated time as I was leaving Richmond Hill. I would get to this eatery a few minutes after the specified ready time. I had no problem finding a parking spot. A vehicle had pulled out of a spot steps away from the entrance. I backed into it. It was a good day. I walked in. There was a customer ahead of me who seemed nervous and fidgety. I stood in line behind him. It was trying to figure out why he was reacting that way that interested me. There were two staffers. The male one was nice and came over to me. I said that I had an Uber Eats order. I showed it on my phone. He nodded and headed to work with the male chef behind the counter and his female colleague next to him. The female colleague needed help putting together an order. The male one helped her sort things out. She had put the wrong noodles and broth in a paper bag with handles. She had to take the lids off the ramen bowls to figure out the contents inside. She had to bag two broths in containers. I have always been an observer. I'm also patient -- perhaps too patient for my own good. The man in front of me had every right to be nervous. She was packing up his takeout order and had messed up, which likely caused him to get all nervous and looked at me three times during this ordeal. I never made eye contact with him, as I didn't need his nervous energy extended to me. I did the fourth time when I watched her get his order right. Our eyes met and I smiled that he got his order right. He smiled back. It's always about context. It's the only reason why I'd give this experience 4.5 stars. The confused female staffer didn't exude confidence to two customers watching her pack up an order. There were two pairs of diners while I was here. It felt like a relaxed setting slurping ramen and conversing in this eatery. I should dine here next time. It felt comfortable. The male staffer, on the other hand, was competent. I saw him pack two ramen bowls, two broth containers, and two boxes containing cheesecake into my paper bag. He then carefully sealed everything with stickers and handed the bag with handles over to me. I thanked him and wished him a great day. He reciprocated, almost with a sigh of relief. I headed to my car and drove off. My next couple of errands were by my workplace. I decided to have lunch there. I had half my food for lunch. I had the rest at home today. The golden duo consisted of your choice of noodles (thin or thick) in a pork broth that had white sesame paste. The protein was seasoned ground pork. It had a marinated egg, bean sprouts, scallions, bamboo shoot, wood ear mushroom, chili oil, shredded chili pepper, white pepper, and a few crispy fried onions on top. I went with thick noodles. You can't customize any items in the ramen bowls on Uber Eats. I am frankly not a fan of bamboo shoot. Luckily, there were four strips that I easily removed from my bowl of ramen. The broth was still pipping hot. I placed everything in an insulated bag. Both broth containers were placed in a plastic bag. I appreciated that packing detail. I poured one of the broth containers into my ramen. I then loosened up my thick ramen noodles and chowed down. The golden duo was yummy. The broth was rich and creamy. The thick noodles were chewy and perfectly cooked. I loved the flavours in my ramen. The seasoned ground pork was perfect with the bean sprouts, scallions, and marinated egg. This bowl of ramen did have a spicy kick. My bowl at the office wasn't terribly spicy. The one that I had at home had a stronger level of spiciness. Both were great. I normally don't get utensils. Since I was eating at the office and didn't have the proper utensils, I said yes. The spoon from Kinton Ramen was gorgeous and deep, which allowed me to enjoy every spoonful of broth and more. I actually washed it out and stored in my locker at work... haha! The golden duo was equally as yummy a day later. I'm not sure if the spiciness elevated overnight, but it was nice. The cheesecake at Kinton Ramen tends to be on the smaller side, which I appreciate. I've had the matcha and loved it. I went with yuzu and it was awesome. I loved the citrusy brightness that the yuzu brought to the cheesecake. It was the perfect richness to end my meal. I look forward to getting more ramen from this eatery. There's a veggie immune booster ramen bowl that I wouldn't mind trying. It's currently a part of the BOGO deal. (105)

The noodles were cooked to the right texture and the meat was great. Everything was very flavorful! - pork tonkatsu: 5/5 stars. This was the best pork tonkatsu I've ever had. There were only two staff members on the floor at first, with a lot of people waiting and many empty tables that hadn't been cleared. It took about 45 minutes to get seated for a table of two. Another staff member came in later which definitely helped. We ordered the original ramen, which was ~$8 during the promotion, and shared the karaage, also ~$8. The karaage came with 5 pieces and was very juicy and tasty, though slightly pricey for the portion at regular cost. The ramen was good. I liked that you can add unlimited deep fried garlic and chili powder to customize your bowl. You are also ablee to change the broth but it costs an extra $2.50 (so I did not). The dried garlic was especially delicious and added a lot of flavor. The egg was good as well, although it was only half an egg. Overall, I enjoyed it, especially for the discounted price. At regular pricing, I think there are other ramen spots that offer better taste. But for a promo visit, it was worth trying.

The restaurant was at a busy location, which was the end of the driveway, everyone sees it before making a turn. The staff was nice when we walked in. After a few seconds, she came back and said only 1 coupon per visit. We were a bit disappointed, because we were so hard to dine out with a baby, and not able to come again with a long drive and a baby. We talked to their owner, he was nice to let us try both at the same time. Oh yeah! So we have 1 original ramen with black garlic oil, and 1 tomato base. It won't take long to wait. The fried chicken came first, it was not like the breaded chicken, it fried from original, but after marinated; it has taste, but not salty. The 2 ramen came at the same time. They both really rich, but not so salty, because the salt level could be altered; the noodle size could be chosen as well, we did 1 thick and 1 thin. They both looked similar.
