I really cannot scream loud enough from the rooftops how amazing this place is. The donuts are top notch, don't get me wrong. But the couple that run Mena's are just beyond amazing! Walking in and being recognized (after two previous visits only!) and Mr. Mena knowing what I wanted was pretty cool. Now, about the donuts. They're BIGGER than my face. And they will fill whatever you want however you want if they don't have it in the case already. I would die for the Boston cream and the plain glazed, tbh. The crispy coconut on the Ube donut is a whole experience you don't wanna miss either. And, their dozen regular donuts is actually 14. So that's fun! In conclusion, the entire store is a treat, from the donuts to the people to the service. My family and I were in town with a bit of time before our event so we made a stop at Mena's Donut House. I'm SO glad we did! The donuts are so tasty and huge! I had a Bavarian cream and my son had a big sprinkled donut. We loved them both. The inside of the shop is really bright and fun. And the service was so nice and helpful, especially as we were taking time contemplating our choices. Definitely recommend Mena's. We will be stopping by again when we are in Wichita! read more

Oh my god I'm surprised I never knew about this place. They are huge donuts. I bought them for my staff and they loved them and said they were the best generals ever. And I got a dozen for under 20 bucks, which was amazing. Most places want to charge 26 to 30 dollars. Must try these amazing huge donuts. Definitely, my new favorite donut shop now!! read more

I went in around 1030 today and they still had a good selection of donuts available. They were so light and airy and absolutely delicious. I've never seen/had a blueberry fritter before and this was outstanding, not only that, it was HUGE. The staff was friendly and they worked quickly. read more

I enjoyed my first trip to Mena's. I arrived mid-morning and many others must've beat me to the punch. The owner was able to snag a couple of the best apple filled bear claw that I've ever had. They also have banana bread, sold in very generous chunks! I will be back! read more

Be warned..these are not donuts, they are mini cakes! My big bro surprised us with Saturday morning donuts and boy was it a pleasant surprise! Taste/texture-wise they are what you'd expect a donut to be but size-wise they are in a league of their own. Pretty much 2 donuts in 1. Stick a candle in one and you have a mini cake for a co-worker or something. I had a crumb and jelly filled. Both were excellent. Since I didn't go with my bro to get them, I can't comment on service or the establishment itself but he had a good experience and plans to frequent this business.
