Went to Winchell's Donut House last night for some donuts. My bro said our nephew Julius took him to one in Cali. It's a popular West Coast Donut chain that even has 2 locations in Guam. I'm liking this place already. Donuts are made fresh and you can watch them make the donuts in the window to the baking area. Better donuts than Dunkin and Krispy Kreme. Winchell's is a childhood favorite of mine. They used to have them in Kansas City. And thankfully they're still down here in Wichita. They make their own donuts right in the store and they're absolutely delicious. They have a great variety and their breakfast sandwiches and coffee are great too! Highly recommended. read more

Just discovered my new favorite donut shop. Recommended by a friend to try and I was pleased. I tried their sausage jalapeño bagel breakfast sandwich and it was amazing. Also tried the pumpkin donut and that was good. So much option for donuts. Customer service was okay could been better. I think cuz it is a happening place so I felt like they are rushing. This place is fantastic! The breakfast sandwiches are real eggs cooked right in front of you. The donuts are great. I think the pastries at Winchell's are in the same league as the fancier places like Hurts Donut. They are better than standard quick serve. I've never tried their drinks. They're right next to a Starbucks, so I usually do Winchell's for a donut or a sandwich (or both if I'm hungry) then Starbucks for a fancy coffee and that's my breakfast. read more

My office brings donuts pretty frequent and so I decided I'd bring them in today. I came in and I had a google link showing some special listed under "Winchell's Wichita Menu" for 2 dozen donuts and a dozen Donut holes for $17.98. Turns out that this Winchell's was not running this deal but the cashier have courtesy and understood. He let me keep the donut holes as a comp and I was just charged for the 2 dozen donuts. Overall the donuts were great! Service was quick and that was kind of the cashier to understand how surprising the mix up was to throw in the holes for free. read more

Always open and always amazing donuts. My and I have tried almost every donut place in town and this is always one of our go to's especially because they are always open. And we can get our midnight donut fix plus some of the cheaper donuts in town. So win/win!! read more

I really love the pink frosting here. I prefer it on their yeast donuts as their cake donuts are a little too dry. Having the 24 hours option is pretty amazing for the crazy donut lovers like me. Best cake doughnuts I've ever had. Would recommend as a midnight snack. The staff are amazing and fast.

I like their food but their service us awful. Always takes over 30 minutes to make a few burritos and they always make it seem like a hassle. Went in today to order some food and the guy said no one was in to make any sandwiches or burritos for another 15 minutes, so we would have to wait 15 mins and then another 30 for them to make the food. By far the best donuts. I hate Dunkin as their donuts come in frozen and are thawed. Winchell's makes the donuts and you can watch them make them fresh. I've never had a problem with staff.
