Was in town visiting family and found out that Wichita had a Sugar Llamas. One of my favorite place to get desserts. There mini donuts are the best. Get you at least a dozen or else you are gonna regret afterwards. The donuts are a little bigger than a dollar coin and they have a ton of different of flavors. The donuts were crispy outside and soft inside. They taste similar to funnel cake. They also have ice cream and other treats. If you have not tried Sugar Llamas, you're missing out! Their donuts are freshly made and absolutely incredible. The flavors are endless and they even add a few flavors on that are seasonal. They have the best ice cream as well and you can even combine the two and order what's called "the summit". The menu is more extensive than I'm mentioning, but I'm stuck on two or three items that I can't get past :D They also offer hot and cold coffees. ALL 3 in one shop!?!? That's a YAY from me!! The shop is super cute with llama gifts and other items. In addition to these being the best donuts around, I must say the customer service is exceptional. I'm usually shy about asking to try the flavors of ice cream, but they'll offer you a taste before you even say anything. All of my orders have been prepared on time even when I pick up a to go order. A nice gentleman who I believe was the manager offered us one free donut on our first visit and we've been hooked ever since. There's also a rewards program and they will send you free stuff and discounts on the app. It's very dangerous that this place is only 1 mile from my home but try it one time and you'll understand my passion in this review! read more

We have gone here a few times and tried several different flavors. This time we actually ate our doughnuts there and got coffee. As usual the doughnuts were great. We have brought them home in the past but after a day the tend to get soggy. The cooler was good. The service here is always excellent and friendly. The place is always clean. There is ample seating. If you are looking for a sweet treat definitely recommend this little gem. read more

We drove across town to see what all the hype was about - we were not disappointed! It's a cute little shop in a strip mall just north of Central and Tyler. Well-staffed, clean (if not a little sparse), and welcoming. We went solely to get the donuts. I was a little confused, in that they don't have a donut case. All of their donuts are made to order - while that may seem unusual, the process goes pretty fast once they have your order. Which was really our only issue - you can order at the counter, or on the website. I'd recommend the website, as they have a large selection, and the menus in the store (to me) were a bit underwhelming. Additionally, pay attention to the website ordering process, as it default time in the future, and the store doesn't start making the order until that time. We sat there like idiots for 20 minutes before I discovered they were waiting to make them until a future time. Ugh. I'll chalk this up to (my) user error, I suppose. They have an app, I will try that next time. If the product was not too good, I may have let the ordering process sour me. However, these things are astonishing! Small, hot, fried donuts covered in a myriad of toppings. My favorite was the Reeses peanut butter, which was a donut covered in chocolate and peanut butter sauce. These were so good, like, eat so many you get sick good. All the flavors we tried were amazing. So good luck to this place, they seem like very nice people and are working hard to serve a good product. I'm glad they are on the opposite side of town from me, otherwise I'd be there every other day! read more

I was disappointed at first when I ordered on my app. It said pick up time at 740am. I got there at 740am and they said there were orders still ahead of me which I understand. 820am and still no order. I asked about it and they said they so far behind and they would refund my money. So I took that and left to go to work. Then they called me and asked if they would like them to deliver it with no charge. I said yes. The owner came and delivered them personally all the way on NE side or town when they are located on the NW side. She apologized like crazy and refunded my money and still gave me my donuts. I would highly recommend this place just for their excellent customer service that they provide. The owner is a sweet woman and I would recommend this place over and over again regardless if they were behind on orders. read more
