Stopped by the newest donut shop in town after reading some local blogs. While we were late (after 2 pm) for most of the donuts they still had a good selection of donuts to choose from. Let's break down our visit. I didn't get the name of the lady working the counter today. She is very nice & answered every question hubby had about the donuts. She has a really good vibe, definitely a good employee who enjoys her job. Please keep this gem! This location took over the former Taco Tico. There's a lot of room for any crowds so you don't have to cram in between people who are eating in. They have a few tables with comfy looking chairs, a little table for the kids & a foosball table. Like seriously, this brought back fond memories of playing with the cousins growing up. Having looked at the menu, they have something for everyone. They sell various decadent donuts (some are little works of art) but that's not all! They have breakfast sandwiches, sausage in a blanket, a few lunch sandwiches & different boba drinks/smoothies. So basically there's something for everyone. We both chose a sandwich for lunch. Hubby had the ham sandwich on the croissant with lettuce, tomato, cheese & avocado. For sandwiches you can add jalapenos & onions. He said it was good. I chose the turkey croissant with lettuce, tomato, cheese & onion. I loved how light it was even though it's a big sandwich. I appreciated that they used thinly sliced red onion. It's not too overpowering. Not sure what cheese was used but it added a creaminess to the sandwich. The only thing I would change is going from the iceberg to maybe romaine lettuce. Otherwise this sandwich was delicious & I will definitely try one of the other ones next visit. We picked up a strawberry cream croissant. The berries were sliced thin & added the perfect amount of tartness to the light & airiness to the cream. It was a great ending to lunch. We'll definitely be back to try more food!

My new favorite donut place!! Wow, the donut holes filled with Bavarian cream and dusted with powdered sugar and the glazed donut was light and tasty and somehow unique. Incredible. I have always thought a glazed donut is just a glazed donut but apparently I have been served wrong. Happy Nov 5 Donut Day!

Will the donuts ever end. So much to choose from!

Donuts are FANTASTIC!! The filled Donuts holes melt in your mouth. They do get busy but worth the wait.

Their doughnuts are amazing and my personal favorite, this place cares about the people who couldn't afford foods too!

Great customer service, donuts were fresh very yummy and they open at 4:00am everyday which is a plus if you have to be at work at 5:00am like me. $13.87 a dozen plus a freebie pretty good price.

    Great donuts!!

A very good donut but doesn't live up to all the hype. Nice people at the counter. Cute little place. Not your Krispy Kreme style.

It's not a knock on the city, it's just that it's a 9 hour drive from Houston! I found this gem on a recent road trip through the Midwest. I was making a drive from Dallas and used ChatGPT to find me the best coffee between Dallas and Abilene, KS. Reverie Coffee Roasters popped up and Yelp reviews looked favorable so I plugged it into the GPS. I don't know the area, but it seemed to be located in their downtown area right off the interstate. I found street parking right out front and unsure if they have a dedicated lot. This place was alot bigger than I expected. Walking in is like a storefront with coffee and merch for sale, as well as where you order. Then they have a huge dining area with lots of seating as well as a patio out back. It looks like a perfect place to catch up with your peeps, read a good book or study. It was busy so the staff was straight business but in a polite and helpful way. They started off as a wholesale coffee roaster. They source their coffee from all around the world. On my visit, I saw coffees from Columbia, Guatemala, Mexico, Ethiopia, and Nicaragua. They also offer every type of brewing method like pour over, drip, chemex, cold brew, French press, etc. The fact that they do all that different sourcing and preparation methods shows me they care about putting out a superior product. My original plan was to grab a cup of joe and keep it moving to my destination, but after walking in and seeing they had nice looking pastries, I decided to get my order and enjoy it there. I love all things s'mores and saw they have a s'mores latte. I had to get it. Another weakness of mine is cinnamon rolls. I saw it on display and had to have it. They heat it up before serving it. I was able to find a cozy corner of the restaurant. My order got called shortly after. The latte was amazing. I could taste the little nuances of a s'more. They even topped the drink with a marshmallow drizzle. I savored that drink. Now let me sing the praise of that cinnamon roll. Hands down the best cinnamon roll I've had. This was a brioche cinnamon roll. They heated it up just right and the icing was just gooey enough without running off the roll. It was soft and oh so delectable. The sweet icing didn't mask the delicious buttery brioche either. Bite of that, then sip of the coffee was a match made in heaven. I had no intention of finishing this generous portion, but I simply could not let it go to waste either. Needless to say, I was on the struggle bus driving on to my next destination. If somehow I could replicate this place and put one in Houston, I would be the happiest man. I will most definitely come back through next time I drive through Wichita!

The hazelnut option available was sugar free, but it did not have the weird aftertaste a lot of sugar free options do. Overall, a delicious latte and solid service. Lots of seating inside, the perfect place to set up and work for a while or catch up with friends.

She recommended one of their mochas with coconut (may have been the German Chocolate flavor, I honestly don't recall what it was called), but she swore it was delicious, and of course, that's what I got, but half sweet. My boyfriend always gets an Iced half sweet Mocha, and he enjoyed his as well. The reason why I gave 4 stars was that the drive-thru line was super long, and we decided to walk up. However, it was unclear where to order as they don't have an ordering window. But if you stand near the sliding glass door, a barista will come out to take your order, so that threw me off. But now you and I know for next time (you're welcome, lol). The barista, though, was very nice and helpful as I needed to also purchase a gift card for the boyfriend's step-mom as her birthday was coming up. They also gave me a coupon for a free medium drink, so I gave that to his step-mom too, as we were headed to NE and wouldn't be back anytime soon. This location is in the Lowe's parking lot, and it seems they only have one drive-up window. They only have one bench outside their sliding glass door, where the barista comes out, as they are primarily a drive-through, so the ambiance is outdoorsy. Not a place you sit down and catch up at, as it is in a Lowes parking lot lol. At least you can sit there and wait for your beverage to take a quick break before you go about your day. I do think they are better than Dutch Bros, but we don't have 7 Brew here in WA. But that (possibly called) German Chocolate Iced Mocha was sooo good. I'd be back when I'm in town.

Maybe cinnamon blast, don't recall the exact name, but I asked for it to be toasted with butter. My wife was in the mood for pumpkin spice so she got it toasted with cream cheese. This place did not disappoint. I got a regular coffee with my bagel and it was really good. The bagel flavor was spot on. It took a little longer than expected to get our bagels but that was fine. We weren't in a hurry and they were incredibly nice. Oh, one side note. Be prepared to pay extra for butter and cream cheese. 85 cents for butter and I believe almost 3 bucks for cream cheese. That surprised me. But hey. I'd still eat there again. I would say the place is a little unkept. It's a neat place but the decor as you enter hasn't been cleaned in a while. The tables were clean but the area isn't really clean. My wife said the bathroom was gross. That was my biggest complaint. They need someone to look at the place through the eyes of a first time guest and would notice a ton of small cleaning issues. Otherwise this place is great. As I mentioned before, I'd definitely recommend this place for a great bagel.
