Been shopping here for years and it keeps getting worse and worse, for one 90% of the stuff they sell is absolute junk I've been there more for returns than I can even count, their plumbing, electrical and hardware department is in complete disarray. Almost every fitting bin has different parts in it than what the bin says so make sure you check every single part you grab odds are it's not going to be what your looking for. read more

This is a great location for us and we love this store. Menards has been around for a long time and for a good reason. They are the best! We stopped in the other day for some pavers for a little project of mine and to look at other items we may need eventually. What was great was all the possibilities they pose for you in the section with bricks and stone. We got a couple of different ideas just from looking at some of the examples. It really opened my mind up to the possibilities and the ease of building them, which was pointed out in the explanations. I just always thought I would have to hire someone but that is simply not the case. The options available really helped as well. I am going to build a little border wall around our front tree and fill it in. I just thought this would be nice and would serve as a place to feed the rabbits that have been coming by most nights. There were some different colored bricks there, they were made to fit into a circular pattern and look right, without gaps. That was a relief. Then I considered mulch or stone. They had many types of mulch of varying colors as well as stone. They even had, I believe, it was some type of fragrant, fibrous shell (cocoa?) as a filler. Whatever it was, it smelled really good! I chose the "white beach rock" with gray bricks, so when the rabbits stop in at night to eat, they will pop out in the dark. This store has nice helpful staff and is clean and organized well. Love this place can't get enough of it. The store manager is great guy! When I take long trips I just can't get back soon enough. Really like when they see there are lines to starting to form in check out they open another check out unlike fleet farm. I have save thousands of dollars shopping here over Home depot or fleet farm. read more

My elderly mother ordered a refrigerator from this Menards and was told it was on back order due to production issues (pandemic). She kept getting different ETA's for a YEAR AND A HALF! I finally called for her when I came to visit and saw she STILL didn't have a fridge. I told them she wanted her money back and was going elsewhere for a fridge. I was told that because her 90 days had passed she could not get a refund but could get store credit...for an item she NEVER RECEIVED! Kyle in customer service, was incredibly rude and condescending. We spoke to two other managers who told us the same thing! We fought and fought and the way finally relented and agreed to give her her money back. Crossing our fingers that they actually make good on their word. We will never give them our business again. read more

MENARD'S looses two stars because of the lack of help in loading. We had a trailer, asked for help with sheets of plywood, then worker pointed to green treated lumber area; of course, NOT ONE PERSON AVAILABLE OR IN SIGHT ... these boards are very heavy for two senior citizens to load. The 12-foot 2 X 4 were overhead, for gawd's sakes. If you need help with plywood, that worker should have stayed with us until our entire order was found and loaded. Customer help was almost non existent. The garden center has to undergo a revamping in how someone can get from A to B with out employees sending you all over the store to get what you need. For example 15 bricks 20 bags of mulch and 10 lawn timbers a hour late I loaded all myself . Very disappointed because I used to value the customer service at manards read more

I don't know why I punish myself and go here. I have literally never gone here and had good experience or smooth check out. Either the item doesn't ring up correctly or there is some other issue. Once that happens the cashier never knows how to fix it, getting someone to help takes forever. As bad as check out is, returning something is worse, don't even try it. Even if you haven't opened the packaging you will be charged a restocking fee, just keep whatever you bought and save yourself the headache. My other issue is with the requirement for customers and employees to wear a mask due to Covid 19, as a nurse I get it and appreciate them taking the precaution, here's the problem a large number of their employees wear plastic full face covers, these are completely open on the sides and the bottom. If you know anything about PPE, you know these are worn over a surgical mask or N-95 and without that provide zero protection from anything airborn. When I mentioned this to a manager the response was "it's better than nothing", no it actually isn't. I will stick to other stores for home improvement projects, even though it's close, it's not worth the hassle. read more

Went in knowing exactly what grill I wanted should have been an easy trip in and out. I stood around in the Grill section looking for someone to help me, ask one person to look to be a supervisor of some sort and pointed towards the empty hardware desk and said just ask somebody there and he'll get it for you. Stood there for 10 minutes until another person who looked to be a supervisor was walking past and I asked her how it would go about getting this grill to take home then she pointed at someone who was building a display unit and said that you can help me. He Houston puffs and asked me what the SKU number was and I told him then he ran off I stood around for another 5 to 10 minutes waiting for him to come back when he finally does he is empty-handed looks me in my eyes and just continues walking past me. Had they just had grills available on the same floor I would gladly put it into my own card carried it to the register and then on my way unfortunately they need to put everything on the second floor so that you can never actually take advantage of their sales going on because you'll never find somebody to get the product for you read more

This is an older Menards location smaller than the other two Green Bay spots. The staff was friendly and checked us out quickly. The lack of a star is because we bought a faulty light from their location and now have to return it. read more

I went to buy a stove on Feb. 20. Told I had to wait until Mar.11. Said they would call me on the 10 to set up a delivery.I would have to also pay extra for delivery and disposal. I finally called them on the 10 to be told that now it would be in "around" April 5. They said nothing we can do. I asked why I wasn't called, no answer. Talked to a general manager trying to get answers, no nothing he can do. It was also my fault about not being told because I left my phone not my email as they like to email delivery changes. Asked if they can compensate me with dropping the delivery and disposal fees and was told we can't give money away. Told him I wanted an answer with a firm date of delivery on March 13 or my money back with interest and was told they could probably give me a $20 dollar credit. Run away from this store not worth it. read more

Over the last year, I've learned not to shop at Menards. Their advertising is misleading, their customer service is poor, and their conflict resolution is non-existent and unapologetic. 1.) They often run an 11% rebate offer. We thought this was great and chose them to purchase materials to do some landscaping. Turns out in the fine print, this rebate is in the form of in-store credit where most rebates come in the form of a check. But I attribute this to me not reading the fine print and having a different expectation of what rebate meant since that is what most rebates usually mean. 2.) Purchased a grill from Menards. The type of grill I was targeting was better at Menards than a nearby competitor, but certainly not that much better. I knew a very nearby competitor offers free grill assembly. When I asked Menards if they would match this offering, they said no and gave me a BS excuse on why. Their response was a little off putting on why they wouldn't even though a competitor advertises they do this. 3.) The final straw. Saw a patio set that I liked and was on sale. Inquired about it and found out they were out of stock and would need to order more. That was fine with us so we agreed to pay for it up front and allow them to order it. They weren't sure when it would come in but expected it would be in by the following weekend. They expected us to call them by the next week. Usually one would expect the store to reach out to you when it arrives, but we agreed to check next week. The next weekend came and they said it had not arrived yet. They said check back on Tuesday. It was mid-week and I didn't have time to check back on Tuesday, but figured by the weekend I would check back. So I checked back the next weekend and found out that when it did arrive, they didn't put it aside for me but rather sold it to someone else. I was told they only hold items for customers for up to 5 days and ended up selling it. So they gave me what they had in stock, but they were going to have to re-order what they no longer had. I spent 1 1/2 hours in that store waiting for them to figure that out and get me a new game plan so they could get me what I had already paid for. I asked that due to my inconvenience of them selling what they should have put aside for me, not calling me when it arrived and me having to spend 1 1/2 hours in their store waiting for them to figure this out that the compensation I was seeking was simply for them to ship the ordered parts directly to me and waive their $50 delivery fee. I felt that was reasonable, but they refused. I asked to speak to the store manager (who by the way was the person who place the order for me 2 weeks prior) and he still refused to waive the $50 delivery fee. At that point I was so fed up with how I was treated that I asked to just return the items and get my money back. There are plenty of other places where I can spend my money and I decided I don't have to work with a company who doesn't care about their customers. I was shocked at how quickly he agreed to take me return. Then he asked for my receipt which I no longer had. I asked him to look it up in his computer system which he refused to do, he said I needed my receipt because that showed how I paid for it and how I would be refunded. He asked me how paid for it and I told him I paid in cash. Then he told me that in that case my form of refund would be in-store credit. There was no way I was taking in-store credit so I said just give me what you have, order what I need yet and I won't be coming back. He, the store manager was ok with that. So in the end the store manager made it clear to me he would rather lose a customer instead of correct the wrongs of what occurred in this incident and he would do so over a $50 delivery fee. Unbelievable. Long story short, I'm never returning to Menards unless absolutely necessary. I just found out that Menards has an "F" rating on the Better Business Bureau website and it all makes sense to me now.
