    They just talking like we don't matter

    They have worker that are supposed to help you load they have machines and instead of helping us they set on the machines and let us load a entire garage package the customer spend almost 5 grand and we couldn't get help how lazy can you be

    I'm definitely a fan in comparison to home Depot - they are truly winning. Customer service is great in helping figuring out what you need for your project. Let me give you a sample example: (A) I went to home Depot and I asked where something was, then she replied and pointed. (B) I went to Menard's and I asked where something was, then he replied and said I'll take u to make sure you find the correct item. I also love their displays - there's multiple actual examples instead of a poster board showing a picture of the example. Please note - large pickup order can be retrieved from the rear of the building; either walk through or drive to the back. Make sure you have ur receipt and if not, customer service can pull the information up using your telephone number.

    I went to Menards today to pick up my nephews birthday gift. This particular item as well as the girls version was marked via the sticker on the shelf under the item from $39.99 to $34.99 in the clearance section of closet organization. We get to the register and much to our surprise it rings up at the original price of $39.99. We notify the cashier that the amount isn't correct and the front end lead comes to assist. First she doesn't listen to me about where we picked up the item and calls over to the wrong department and says its still on the shelf as regular price. I offer to go over there with the front end lead to show her the tags and she says "I can not leave from up here". Finally she listens and calls over to the organization department where the lady says that the item next to it was the one on clearance. How could that be when there was TWO stickers, one for the pastel and one for the primary version? The front end lead then says well the person is in the department and you can meet her over there. I walk all the way over there and guess what? BOTH OF THE CLEARANCE TAGS WERE REMOVED! I go back up to the front clearly upset and ask for the corporate number where the person at the help desk was also no help at all, and said "Just so you know the corporate number is an automated system". I will be calling first thing in the morning. This is the absolute WORST customer service I have ever received at such a large business. Who in their right mind REMOVES CLEARANCE TAGS?! This would have NEVER happened if the front end lead walked over there with me to the department when I offered! As pictured you can see this box as well as the others are in POOR condition which is clearly why they were marked down in the first place.

    Wish I could give ZERO stars. purchased HORRIBLE quality wood floors from them, called Great Lakes Wood Floors, Saddle Oak 3/4 x 3 Solid Hardwood Flooring throughout entire house. Bought it because of 50 year warranty. It's only been 5 years, and the floors are worn completely out. I've lived in homes with natural hardwood floors (80 yrs old house) , and Bruce brand hardwood floors (20 yrs old) and both held up BEAUTIFULLY. I chose Great Lakes because the warranty was better, and the price a little less, and I trusted MENARDS' to stand behind the stuff they sell. BIG mistake. They will not stand behind their warranty. Menards says all they can do is forward my claim to GLWF. (Thanks - NOT helpful). GLWF won't even send a rep out to look at the floors. I have had 2 experts out and both said it's just worn out from poor quality. GLWF says they're worn out from water damage. How can they say that without coming over to look? And, btw, there has never been water damage on my floors. Again, I've lived with wood floors for 40 years total, and I know how to maintain and clean them. BEWARE - horrible quality, you WILL be sorry - and Menards will not stand behind them, nor will GLWF (manufacturer).

    I had the opposite experience at Meijer and mixed results elsewhere so I think Menards is my choice for some of my in-person shopping trips for a while.
