They allow you to sample flavors prior to committing to one (or 3), loads of options in flavors including sugar free and vegan options! The topping bar has literally everything you could imagine and more! Friendly staff!

Standard self-serve and DIY frozen yogurt shop. If you've ever been to yogurtology, it's the exact same concept. Multiple flavors to choose from with a selection of toppings. Your final price is determined solely based on the final weight of what you get. Admittedly it's an expensive sweet treat, buts it's really good and fully customizable to your hearts content.

Cute little frozen yogurt shop! They are enforcing social distancing and masks for customers. They no longer offer self-serve, and weighing your yogurt. It's a one stop shop buy now. I didn't mind, I actually preferred!

YUMM YUMM YUMMM! My group came here for BOGO froyo day! It was packed (due to the promo). All of the people made us realize there wasn't a lot of seating available...only enough for like maybe 6 ppl total. They have outside seating as well but when we were there it was raining.. They always have sample cups out for you to try on your own.. this iss slightly different from other froyo sample cups bc menchies allows the e customer to get their oops sample, thus, I try more samples. vs other places, where the employee fills samples for you It's pretty creamy and really good but it does melt much faster than I'd like. They have a pretty decent toppings bar but sometimes they change toppings without you knowing like one time I was craving the cookie dough pieces but didn't realize they didn't have them that day until I already filled my cup. They also sometimes have waffle cones, which might cost extra...but sometimes their waffle cones are chewy... once I asked if they had any fresh ones coming and they just made me a new one.. Their froyo choices are pretty decent and seasonal. Idk how they choose which froyo flavors to put out when but they've always had a chocolate out and a vanilla out,, regardless the season.. Every time I've been there they've always been nice! They have a chalk board and they let you write anything you want on there.

Menchie's is a new family friendly frozen yogurt location in butler north. It has name brand yogurt flavors like Dole Whip pineapple and Oreo cheesecake, along with the typical flavors you see at yogurt chains. They have quite a few toppings for you to choose, and they are all neatly kept in boxed containers. I like this more than the open concept that Mochi has. I feel like there are way less germs getting into these toppings this way. I really like this store because they are not stingy with the sample cups or hover over you when you are testing flavors (like Yogurtology). The location may be small, but it's not cramped. There is plenty of parking. They have deals like free waffle cones on Wednesday and a reward program. This location also has a freezer section where you can get pints of yogurt to take home and frozen yogurt cakes. I've never seen frozen yogurt cakes before, but they looked a lot like ice cream cakes. I'm guessing they probably taste a lot like ice cream cakes as well but may melt faster. Before you go download the Gift Certificates and More app becdause it has a $2 coupon for this place.

For whatever reason, Menchie's is now making you weigh your toppings in a plastic cup?! The person working the cashier was really rude to my friend because he didn't read the sign that talked about this weighing rule? He said "can you not read the sign", super rude. At first we thought the plastic cups was for COVID, but now it's a part of the weigh in for your froyo? Awkward situation.

I want to start out by saying I love Menchies, but the toppings are a ripoff. I was charged $1.50 for fresh strawberries... and got four thin slices.

I'm in love with menchie's! They sponsored dessert for a meeting that I recently attended and it was delicious. Tonight I stopped by to personally give them a try. This bar is clean and compact and customer-friendly. A sampling area is set and staged begging the customers to feel free to figuring out whatever you would like. The yogurt was delicious yet again and when I saw the little children's artwork and coloring book contributions on displayed on the wall it touched my heart. The menchie's spoons are so much fun.

Tried menchies for balance after Bolay. Friendly staff and got to try all of the flavors including Cinnamon Toast Crunch dole whip Nutella. All were really delicious. Best part was the magic shell sauce station. Reward club gives you $5 off after spending $50. 5 people ordered and spent $22 and got 10% off for fb check in

I've only ever come for the ice cream before, but this time I tried the ceremonial matcha with oat milk and the Turkey Pesto Sandwich, and wow... I was genuinely impressed. I'm not vegan by any means, but I didn't miss the "real" turkey at all, which completely caught me by surprise. The sandwich was exactly what I was craving: creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Seitan Turkey, vegan provolone, cilantro walnut pesto, tomato, lettuce, and mayo on multigrain bread came together beautifully. The bread was soft but nicely toasted, and every bite was and satisfying. The matcha was smooth, earthy, and delicious one of the best I've had in Gainesville. Even though the place was packed, the staff was quick, kind, and on top of everything. Overall, such a great experience. I'll definitely be coming back for more than just ice cream from now on.

The chickpea salad was okay, more from a subjective perspective because I'm not vegan and my tastebuds were prepping for a chicken salad sandwich with each bite. Granted, I was trying something new with the matcha and the sandwich, so nothing inherently wrong on their end, just not a fan. Notwithstanding, all of the ingredients tasted fresh, which was a bonus. The monkey bread is really why the rating is on the higher side with consideration to the other 2/3 of my meal not being my favorite. My boyfriend would have gotten 2 or 3 more monkey breads if we had known it was so good from the get go

I settled on some boba tea instead and had oolong but unfortunately they were out of boba balls so I had it without. They added a replacement for the boba balls which was a little off and like a jelly texture . Almost like aloe Vera texture . I still loved their boba tea flavor which I got brown sugar. We also tried 2 mochi. The mochi had a great flavor but the texture was too hard for me. We had the strawberry and coconut mochi but they had other amazing flavors like habanero coffee, expresó , lychee , passion fruit etc. I appreciate that they had so many unique flavors you don't see often. Before I say yes to boba tea, though, I ask the waitress for their dessert menu and they sent me to BC Boba Tea & Ice Cream. Apparently Swamp Boil doesn't serve dessert. Anyway, this cute little tea shop also sells some snacks and ice cream. Given my friend wanting some boba tea, the desire was contagious and I wanted one, too. I also figured it made more sense for the road as I had many hours until I would reach South Florida. He ordered an oolong milk tea with boba while I ordered a strawberry green tea with boba. Both were refreshing, but I think I'm happy I stuck with the strawberry green tea. Milk and long car rides aren't good companions and that's with me not being lactose intolerant. Anyhow, the service was fine, a bit cold perhaps, but it is what it is. They have a lovely mural on site and I'm generally curious if this and Swamp Boil are owned by the same person. At any rate, I would go back if in the area.

The bread was grilled perfectly, buttery, golden, and exactly the kind of crisp I love. The flavors were unreal. The crispy bacon added that salty, smoky crunch that hits immediately, the muenster cheese brought this smooth, melty richness, and the sweet onion and carrots added the perfect fresh bite. But the real surprise was the honey mustard. I'm a honey mustard lover, but I was honestly skeptical about how much they'd use or whether it would overpower everything. Instead, it was beautifully balanced, but just the right amount of sweetness to bounce off the savory bacon, the creamy chicken salad, and the buttery toast.
