I haven't had froyo in a while so I was excited to give Menchie's a try. It was really slow when I went in, which was nice because the kids could take their time choosing. They had a decent variety of flavors and the kids really loved the swirl option. There were also toppings galore. The customer service wasn't great and there was no toilet paper or paper towels in the bathrooms. But we enjoyed our Friday evening ice cream date nonetheless with plenty of space to sit and talk about the busy school week in a low key environment. read more

Very poor experience today...not only were several containers completely empty- the girl working had no idea of the fat content- not listed and she didn't know- the containers of add ons -many had no lids on them at all- (stale cookies- not appealing) - very unusual- not to mention unappetizing. I had to leave. Some of us have very strict medical guidelines- if it's not labeled non fat, I can't have it! And I surely don't enjoy candies & toppings that have sat open. Unfortunate... The FroYo was good and I always like going to Menchie's because they have new flavors to try. I was a little taken it back by how dirty it was and the dining area considering nobody else was in there. The staff were friendly... with each other... paid no attention to us whatsoever. I had a bit of trouble with the card reader meanwhile, the cashier carried on a conversation with another team member and I literally had to speak over them to ask for assistance. Owners were very accommodating and helpful with the whole party planning process and were very open to ideas I suggested for the party. My friend and I went in there tonight after dinner, and when we open the door, the smell of bleach smacked us in the face. I told the young man at the counter that it's not good timing to do this with customers in the building. He didn't really acknowledge it. My friend has severe asthma. We had to go to the front of the store to eat our dessert and look in the other room that was empty and he was spraying the tables with bleach. Whoever he is, needs to show more respect for customers, especially those who have asthma. We didn't tell him that, but it should be common courtesy. Who doesn't love froyo? It's healthier and delicious! Menchie's froyo is one of my favorites. I look forward to it every time I'm visiting from Tampa. They change out their flavors ever so often. This month they have dragon fruit and hazelnut which is absolutely delicious! FYI hazelnut is dairy-free for those who have dairy restrictions. Their spoons are super cute and you can take them home to re-use for your kids. I do wish they had a bin where you could put your spoons in to be recycled. I appreciate that they have the sample cups laid out for you to grab instead of you asking them every time you want to try a different flavor and run out of cups. Overall, this is one of my favorite places to get froyo. **TIP: You can get a 10% discount if you eat in the plaza and show them your receipt. They also offer a rewards program. read more

Not really many options in the area for ice cream (but why?), so headed here for our sweet fix on a Saturday afternoon. Walk inside and it's your usual setup of soft serve against the wall and a topping station to the side. Flavors are your regular selection to go along with a couple odd ones and some fruity options. Settled on a mix of "Ice Cream Sandwich" and "Peanut Butter" soft serves; topping it off with mini M&Ms, Butterfinger bits, Whoppers, and chocolate syrup (total $8ish). The peanut butter soft serve wasn't too bad - a balanced pb flavor that's very creamy. The ice cream sandwich flavor was a disappointment; mostly vanilla and not much else. The toppings on top were seemingly old and tasted the part. When we were there, all the employees were having a meeting in the middle of the floor (which is fine as you're doing most of the work here anyway). If in a bind this is probably your only option anyway, though store bought might be better value. read more

I've been a fan of Munchie's for a very long time. This location is just perfect because its location is near one of my favorite restaurants. I've always experienced happy and willing to help smiling faces and my favorite feature here is the ability to sample all the flavors before selecting which ones to purchase. This location is fairly busy, but not too busy and is well maintained. I always see the machines and setup cleaned often and the tables and sit in areas are fairly clean as well. I suggested signing up for the rewards program on their website and you receive points for every purchase you make. According to how many points you accumulate, the points are earned towards discounts off your next dessert available at any Menchie's location. I love all the melon flavors: watermelon, cantaloupe and honey dew melon, they're my favorite during the summer when its extra hot outside. I love how they off flavors without any dairy or sugars and each flavor is labeled with ingredients. This helps with people who have allergens or on a specific diet. Take advantage of the extra toppings but please be aware of how much toppings you use. The price of your dessert is charged according to the weight. read more

Menchies is an ice cresm place that has different flavors depending on the season or if they are out of a flavor. I tried all 12 flavors available in SAMPLE cups and ended up getting the banana flavor with sour patch kids...Delicious. Lots of good flavors available here, another favorite of mine was "Dulce de leche" one of my favorite and my grandfathers too. The service is great with friendly staff and they were in no hurry to kick us out at 10pm when they closed. They also have different toppings to choose from like nuts and gummy bears and even fruit,price is not to bad. The place is super clean and even has a kids area plus they have there own shirts and hats. Good place to grab some ice cream or sherbet. read more

This is the third fro-yo place I have been. I will not specifically name the others but Menchie's has thus far been my least favorite of them. Why, read on... 1. The flavors of yogurt were strange. Glazed Donut for example...it had no flavor. 2. The flavors in the machines to swirl were strange. Dulce de Leche and Lemon???? Root Beer Float and Reese Peanut Butter Cup???? Those so do not go together! 3. The flavors were hard to put toppings on. What do you put on Root Beer Float? 4. Their machines were a mess! It looked like people had been dumping their samples down the drain all day. 5. I did not like the spoons. They seemed awkward to me. Menchie's is my go to place for yogurt but i only like the tart flavored Im sure if the person who works there sees this they'll know who I am. This location isn't the best I won't be returning again they charge me twice the money for half the amount when I go there I usually want the pints they sell for $5 and I have atleast gone 6 times to get it and they never have it. About $$60 down the drain when I could of been getting double the amount for half the price. That's not what bothered me though. The owner saw me one night and personally asked me for my phone number to fulfill my request and it's been a month I've wasted my time going there about 4 times this month to check and see if they have any pints and there's none with that flavor. The lady who works there tells me today that because when they clean the machine is when they fill them and that flavor never has extra to fill pints up. Witch would be nice to tell your customer from the beginning. Not have them thinking you guys will sell pints & specifically ask for my phone number and name to let ''em know when you do and let a whole almost two months go by with no contact. Just think it's crazy to charge someone for a 8-10oz cup of plain yogurt almost $15 when pints cost 5$ & im a consistent customer. read more

I am a frequent menchies customer. Have never had a problem until tonight. My dad got a second degree burn when the hot fudge pump exploded all over his arm. We kindly asked to speak to a manager to address the concern (it could have been his face or it could happen again and we wouldn't want anyone to be injured especially a child!) they said the manager wasn't there but the shift leader, Zion, came out. He immediately laughed and questioned my father as to how it happened. He said it was impossible for it to explode yet his other coworker (do not recall her name) admitted that she saw and heard it happen. Again Zion kept laughing and had a rude smirk on his face the whole time. He did not apologize and should have called his manager without us having to ask. While on the phone with his manager he was not concerned about the pump and was seemingly inconvenienced by having to call her. He complained the whole time saying my dad was rude and it was absolutely ridiculous. Someone could have gotten hurt after my father and they did not seem to care the first time. Be careful here, they do not care if you are injured and will laugh at you if you are. read more

Yum yum! We went here for dessert tonight. It's one of those yogurt slash ice cream shops you serve yourself at. Then you add your toppings and it is weighed. Based on the weight of the cup is how much you pay. We got three cups. And by the way, all cups are the same size. Our kids got chocolate and vanilla twist with rainbow sprinkles. They are it all up. That's one yum for them! My wife and I split a cup. I filled it nearly to the top with peanut butter, chocolate and cake batter. All these flavors are delish! We piled on the brownie bites, the kit kats, mini peanut butter chips, cookie crumble and chocolate and Carmel sauces. Double yum! This joint is much cheaper than the Orange Leaf place out there.
