Ambiance was fine. I'm pretty sure all Bruster locations are walk-up windows. They had plenty of bench seating for everyone. Service is always nice and friendly. They are usually all high school kids. The kid at the window didn't seem to know a lot about the flavors I was inquiring about. They were quick to offer samples, though, which was fine with me. As for the ice cream itself, it was lovely as always. The ice cream flavors that have toppings inside are always jam packed with them, which a glutton like me really appreciates. Stuffing two huge scoops of different flavors into a huge waffle cone is my go-to method. Overall, if you like ice cream, you'll like Bruster's. New to the area and heard around this was the best icecream in the area, and to say I wasn't let down, they have so many flavors and the ice-cream is pretty good I can see why this place is always packed. Can't believe it took me so long to try Bruster's. Quick and easy service, limited seating is available, easy access parking lot, delicious ice cream (for humans and dogs). I got the dairy-free mint chocolate chip and dairy free Oreo in a waffle bowl and it was so, so good. My little 5Ib dog LOVED his ice cream, ate the whole thing and finished with munching on the dog bone treat. PSA: a "small waffle bowl" for $7 is actually two hefty scoops of ice cream. Kaitlyn was INCREDIBLY RUDE over the phone when placing my order and when I went to pick it up my order. She slammed my card on the counter as I was signing the receipt, also one strawberry shortcake was wrong so I went back to ask her to please remake it since my son is allergic to a specific preservative used in canned whipped cream. When I went back and told her the problem... she then, with an attitude asked if she needed to remake it, I replied yes and she walked away with an annoyed expression in her face and started smirking. When she came back I told her that she should change her attitude because she was very rude... She then says "I don't need any constructive criticism goodbye" with a condescending smile, waving her hand and slamming the window in my face as I'm explaining to her when it was she was being rude. My family and I have been coming to Brusters for over 10 years and have never had an experience like this... it was super disappointing to see this and i truly wonder how many people had to deal with her rudeness today. You can have the options of scooped ice cream, in a cup or waffle cone, shake or malt, ice cream sundaes, and create your own mix of the ice cream with candies blended together. There is only outside seating, but there is plenty of seating available, but if you rather sit in your car, the parking lot isn't far from the building, unless it gets busy, because there is extra parking located further behind the bank.
