I would not trust this place to repair anything. I took my kitchen aid in for repair and had to box it up for a few months while moving. When I was able to unpack it and use it it still wasn't working. When I called them to tell them about it they said they could tell if I used it and would still have to pay. I had a Braun S9 electric razor that the power button top had broken off. The Mending Shed was the closest authorized repair center. The razor was repair within an hour of when they received it from UPS and had it returned via UPS the same day. Can't ask for better service than that. read more

This place is great! I'd been looking everywhere to get my Kitchenaid mixer fixed and got no response from other businesses. These guys fixed my mixer on the spot, he knew exactly what he was doing and showed me everything he was doing in case I needed to adjust it myself anytime, and only charged me $10 for the work he did! The same old terrible service. I go in for a part and the guy tells me I need something different. Wrong! I go back 2 days later with the part they said I needed to get the one I wanted to begin with. I was charged a 10% restocking fee. I asked why I was being charged when they made the mistake? I've been taking all kinds of tools, vacuums and misc to get repaired for years. They fast and reliable and friendly. This time my mom took in her vacuum in because she thought it was broke. It turned out she didn't have the clamps on the side of the vacuum on correctly. Yahoo!! They didn't even charge her. Who does that these days? Terrible business! We dropped off our vacuum two weeks ago for a repair. Right before they closed on Friday night (they are not open Sat/Sun or during the holidays), they left a message with my husband that they couldn't order the part needed to fix the vacuum. It took them 2 weeks to figure out that they couldn't order the item? Their hours are terrible. I highly do not recommend this repair shop. read more

I ordered a product on 11/28/2017. It is currently 2/17/2018. I emailed with no response on 1/20/2018. I called and talked to someone at the store on 2/1/2018. I was told that when they ordered it from a third party it came to them damaged and they filed a claim with that company. They were waiting for that claim to close before they sent me my product. I was told by the employee that they would order a new one and it would get shipped out in 3 days. I filed a case with PayPal 2/16/2018 so I gave them an entire business day to reply to that before I left a review. They took my money then attempted to ignore me and hoped the problem would just go away. read more

Abominable service. I ordered a replacement control board for my KitchenAid mixer. The part number and picture on the web site were what I expected. I received a different control board, with a different part number. They have ignored my emails, and there is no obvious way to return parts and get a refund. They kept my money and don't really seem to care about the rest. read more

Colleen was great...I ordered parts for my Kitchen Aid Pro 600 got the parts no problem, and fixed my mixer myself! Mending Shed was about $20 less than everywhere else and they were great! What would I do without this place? My dryer heating element went out. The Mending Shed had one in stock for a reasonable price. They have so many parts for the do-it-yourself person. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. I love to wander around and look at all the cool stuff they sell too. I don't know of another place like this, that is so handy and helpful. read more

10 days after my payment I still have no order status or tracking #. Attempts to reach out to this business regarding my order went ignored. It seems like they were trying to avoid me. Very unprofessional, they lack the ability to communicate, website says parts were in stock but they clearly weren't because they haven't shipped them after ordering. I'm cancelling my order and going with a more reputable company that wants my business. What a waste of time. I would strongly advise not ordering from them. read more

Ordered a part for my weed-eater via their website. The image of the part on their website did not match what was delivered. What they sent was useless. They took my money, sent the wrong thing, then ignored me when I tried to return it. (Well, they didn't entirely ignore me: they removed the deceptive image from the website.) We ordered a part for our washer when it broke, a simple housing assembly. It was a "special order" so it had to be shipped from china and we had to pay upfront and we where told it would take 4-6 weeks after about 2 months we called in wondering where our order was. We where only told its on a ship and cannot be tracked but we will get a call when it arrives. 3 and a half months later we go into the store to find out what in the world is going on? The manager calls her distributor and tells me that the part has been discontinued. We went 3.5 months spending hundreds of dollars at a laundry mat! Yes they did refund the cost of the part but they did not make things right! We could have easily bought a new washer with the money we wasted while waiting for them to notice their mistake. We didnt even get a call! I know people make mistakes but how do you order a part from your distributor when it was discontinued and not make this right. I will NEVER come back to this place because aparently they cannot admit when they make mistakes. read more

This outfit is great. Although I had little problem with their shipping department sending my order to another customer in Texas, the lady in customer service was very cordial and helpful. I placed an order on Sept 11,2015. It is now Sept 25, and no package. I could have bought all of these parts on another website or even Ebay with better customer service and speedy shipping. Their website says they pride themselves in gettig the shippment out quickly, well, 12 days and still waiting, is that quick? I called in a few days ago to see what the hold up was, and they said they were waiting for a part to come in for my order and that I should have recieved a phone call explaining that. I never recieved a phone call. They said they would get the shippment out on that day of the phone call. 3 days went by no package, and I called back. They said they were getting the shippment ready to be shipped and I should recieve it in a couple of days. Twice now, still no package. Quit telling me you shipped my order out when it has not been. Oh, and the best part is, I paid over $10.00 for shipping of just a few small parts. My suggestion... Ebay or Amazon will get your parts to you much faster, and the shipping will probably be half the price. 2 thumbs down for customer service. read more
