I've been wanting to check this place out for a while. I am a chick that loves to Traeger, and I make everything on it. I wanted some bbq tools and seasoning blends. I was asked what I was looking for, so I said the brand name. The response was, "well that depends on how nice you are." That was a strange thing to say, and I should have walked out. At first, when I called to see what their hours were, Clint answered the phone and was very courteous. Then five minutes later, as I pulled up, he greeted me outside (the parking lot!) to see if he can help with something - he happened to be taking something outside and saw me pull up. I mean, c'mon, have you heard of better customer service anywhere else?! He then took me inside and took things off the shelves to get me what I was looking for - I didn't even have to look for them myself. Then we got to chit chat a bit, and told me tips on how to do ribs (the right way!) and even told me there's tips and tricks on how to get your smoker working correctly! First, choosing a seasoning, bring a second tongue because you are going to sample a dozen seasons before you get to pick which one you want. Good on the store for allowing and supporting taste tests on seasons. Thanks for the soda after, I couldn't feel my tongue. Second, you guys are very helpful with questions on pellets and smoking anything in general. I do not see any inflated prices and if they do not have it in the store, they will order it for you. My husband uses this place all the time and we absolutely love it. My husband bought a Traeger grill from Costco and is BBQing all the time now. Well, the honest truth is these guys help him to feel like a pro. They are so helpful and inviting every time he goes in.. They will let you try all the different rubs there so you know what you want before you leave. They also treat everyone that comes in the door like family. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to purchase a BBQ or looking for any accessories or even meat. We will continue to go back. Cool place to go and just check out if nothing elts! The staff give personal attention to every costomers new and long time! Me and one other person walked in about the same time and both greeted right away asked 8f we have ever been in, and a firm hand shake(you can tell a lot by some one by there hand shake beleve it or not) . The day I came in, I had my bbq smoking already with an irub that laked the flavor that I wanted, the guy that was there asked what type of meat I cooked and smoked. I told him I love the pork and kc style bbq (if you have had it you know what I mean!) The rub I had was good what he had me try brought me back to a better time as a kid and grilling with my uncle. To say the least it was amazing! Sweet, smoke a little heat a touch of this and that! It is now worm and getting hot quick I cook out side frome this time of the year till it gets cold. I live by the grill, charcoal, and a smoker so ya I know my bbq! To say the least come this week I'm going to cook something a little fresher! Yellow squash, mushrooms, chicken brest and going in there first and seeing what thay have for me to turn it from good to amazing! And yes I'm will be getting a smoker from them! I have to add some more to this! I have always been good on the grill and been doing it sence the age of 14 making chicken, steak and pork amazing but with a little advice on wood selection, a rub that fits my wants and needs wit h these few tips I have elevated my grilling and bbq to new heights and depths of flavor all done on a gass grill and yes you can smoke meat on propane just a little adjusting on temp and learning what works best for you!
