We have met so many nice people, other campers, staff, and cute young families. We are grandparent age. When you call they have a warm cheerful way of greeting you on the phone. It doesn't stop at the phone. When you arrive you'll be greeted warmly and welcoming.

This is hands down the worst RV park we have stayed at. Here is a list of all the reasons that make…read moreit terrible. In short, AVOID. 1) the owners are not only rude, but all the long term tenants (and this place is mostly people that live here full time) are scared of them. It's so weird, we had the permanent folks approach us on 3 different occasions telling us we were doing something wrong and the owners are super strict and they just don't want us getting in trouble. We got approached right when we arrived. Again the next morning. And one of them approached us again in the laundry room. We are parents of two kids, we weren't partying at all or even at the site to just sleep. So weird. 2) since it's mostly long term folks, this is their home, I get it, they don't want a bunch of vacationers ruining what they have going on, but why on earth are you even allowing people to camp for a few nights. It's crazy weird here. 3) no kids at all, nothing for kids to do. Don't come here if you want a kid friendly place. 4) your neighbors are literally a few feet away. Their picnic table is directly next to yours. 5) you have to hold your sewage connection down with a rock (I'm not kidding) 6) the people who live here full time, their dogs can bark but yours can't. I heard dogs barking constantly but we were approached by the owner after being gone for 1.5hr and she snarled and said "your dog was acting a fool" (her exact words) so we were forced to board our dogs bc their is no way our dogs won't bark when there are other dogs barking constantly a few feet away. 7) site is not nice Photos attached of our neighbors picnic table next to ours & our other neighbors on the other side of us to show how close you are. ****update in response to "business employee"**** This is by far the nicest and most respectful I have been spoken to by an employee since I arrived at the RV park. I have to wonder if they have someone managing their social media or who this person is, because they certainly weren't speaking to my family this way at the site. Also we were not offered a site in the back initially. We were told that there was a long term tenant with a skittish dog and it would not be good for us to be back there with our kids & dogs. When I brought up the space issue again after I was rudely approached and was told my "dog was acting a fool" (this is exactly how I was spoken to) she told me that there were sites in the back that did not have full hookups. This was after our first of two very uncomfortable nights there. Also - most sites there have stones over their sewage connection, so a bit surprised by their response on that topic.

Our family tried to reach out to the owners and she refused to let us have contact to make a complaint. Then once she knew I wanted to make a complaint she put bad notes on my account and made up a bunch of lies. My family has camped here over 10 years but we have no desire to EVER do it again as long as this place is run by Melissa. Shes not honest and thrives off her rudeness and treating people poorly. If the owners had any idea... they would have a different choice of who is representing their place. The ratings continue to go down... Do your family a favor and don't stop here for camping.

She is such a kind and generous person. She allowed me to use her WiFi, her phone, and let me and my kids wait for hours while our tow truck came. While waiting we got to see the plants and items she sells at her shop. She has beautiful hand crafted items as well as plants that are clearly very healthy and well cared for. Each plant was in a unique mug surrounded by sea glass or tiny sea stars. She has very neat antiques and even handmade crocheted items. I got to see her building some of her artwork made of natural materials like driftwood and abalone shells. She gifted my children a book and other things to keep them occupied while we were stranded. She has such a beautiful heart and beautiful store. It's definitely worth a stop by.

What a wonderful plant shop!!! So many unique and and amazing plants and cacti! I went back twice…read more:) I love the special touch of stones and shells from the beach, in the pots with the plants. The lady who helped me was very friendly and had personally put together 10 clay pots of little cacti that was I wanting to bring home with me. This is one of my favorite campgrounds I've ever been to!!! Kelly and Mikal treat their guests like family. From the first time I called Kelly was so kind and helpful. I have been numerous times now and it feels like going to a little slice of heaven each time. It's clean, beautiful, quiet, and they live on site so if there's an issue they are there to help! The sites are spread out and spacious so you won't have someone right on top of you. The sites are kept up so nicely and the campground itself is simply gorgeous. The bathrooms are clean, there are several free showers, and there is firewood for sale as well. The town of Guerneville itself is only five minutes away, and there are tons of cute little shops as well as a major grocery store. There are darling little art galleries, clothing stores, bakeries, ice cream shops, coffee shops, etc. The ocean is only a 25 minute drive down the road. There are endless little beaches to stop at, as well as numerous little beachside towns with restaurants and coffee shops. You can spend a whole day exploring highway 1, then head back to your campsite to relax. I feel so lucky to only live 3 hours away and be able to head there any time I want. I'm so grateful to Kelly and Mikal for being so accommodating and kind.

Suggestions for improvements would be to just keep things maintained. Don't put a sign on something if it is broke, fix it. Way too many signs about everything. Make a disc golf map. Post the Skunk train schedule so we know when to go to the depot. Keep the mini-golf area nice. Make improvements. Actually put up a basketball hoop. Put up a volleyball net and weed the court.

Very tight space to get a 34ft trailer and a long bed truck to park thru. There were canoes on the side free to use for guests. Also life jackets for adult and kids. Kids spent the morning fishing behind our trailer by the fire pits. Picnic tables also for every spot. A cute little hang out area near the canoe. Games in the room by the office and also bathroom/showers available. There wasn't much space for kids to ride there bikes. Was a great stay still.
