I would highly recommend them to do any landscaping work you may have. Their front office, supervisors and project staff are completely customer oriented. Shout out to Rachel, Daniel, Dorian, Francisco and Eli. I found them on Yelp and their profile and reviews gave us the perception of a high quality and professional landscape company. as such I felt their pricing may be a bit high. I used Yelp to contact and communicate with them initially. Rachel impressively returned my request for information the same day. I also reached out to 2 other companies at the same time. My initial request was for weed clearing and contouring the front yard. They in fact quoted the highest price for this work. I then asked the three firms to quote the entire front yard landscaping project and this is where Go Green Landscape won me over. I had a plan sketch drawing of the yard with dimensions and notes of what we were looking for. Daniel came out to review this with me. He was patience and knowledgeable to the point where I felt comfortable working with Go Green. (I suggest you have some plans prepared so they can quote properly.) I gave them materials and finishes we desired and wanted to match some existing work we had done. Their quote came back detailed and precise. Everything was documented and clear. Granted we went back and forth a few times to make sure all items, details and costs were accounted for but Rachel handled this like a champ. Dorian, Francisco, Eli and the Team came out to start work. Let me just say these guys know what they are doing. They cleared the front yard in the first day! Then area by area, section by section they worked with me to bring our front yard concept to life. We opted for a super low maintenance design. Retaining wall blocks, pavers, crushed rock, artificial turf and river rock. The quality of care and professional work they provided will impress you. They went back and forth to dump site to drop off waste and to vendors to pick up materials as needed. They shifted workers from job to job as the work progressed. Seems like a well oiled machine with good organization. All in all the work was done timely and we are very happy with the final product. Give them a call!! Check out our before and after images

Carlos and his crew were here on time, explained the work they would be doing and did an outstanding job. When they were done, they went above and beyond with the cleanup and even cleaned up the rest of my yard that had nothing to do with the tree trimmings! What a bonus!!! And their rates were $800.00 less than another estimate I got. Couldn't believe how much money I saved. Dependable, professional, cost-saving and friendly. I couldn't be happier with the service and will use them again when I need to. Highly recommended!!!!

When I reached out, I was eager and ready to act on a long overdue project. Out of a handful of landscapers I met with, Tsering was not only the fastest from design to quote to contract but more importantly he was the only one who gave me accurate timelines for expectations of next steps. There was trust building right away. Throughout the project, he was communicative, genuine, and gave honest feedback/advice to my questions. When surprises came up, he always presented it with options, recommendation, and cost so we can quickly come to a good decision. He and his team went above and beyond on multiple parts of the project to maximize success, utility, and safety for our family. It was thrilling to see our backyard changing day by day over two weeks to something completely different and beautiful. We've been enjoying our new backyard, thanks to Tsering and his team. I highly recommend Shambhala Landscapes!

Tsering took our small, weirdly shaped, overgrown backyard and transformed it into a functional piece of art--all in only four weeks! We are so happy that our son will be able to enjoy it for years to come. Tsering is not just a contractor, but an artist and a craftsman. He does everything from start to finish. He provides a glimmer of his vision early on, in a simple one-page design. Once he starts working, he refines that vision and brings it to life with his amazing team. At the end of each day, we were shocked at how much they got done and at the quality of the craftsmanship. Tsering takes incredible pride in his work. After designing and building a beautiful fence for us, he geeked out over some of special hardware he installed to make it extra secure (and we otherwise would not have noticed). Moments like that came up during each phase of the project. Tsering also used the best materials, even when left to his discretion. He purchased more Ipe wood, poured more concrete, and even bought a bigger maple tree than in the estimate. (He did not charge us extra.) During the course of our project, Tsering also found many ways to improve our backyard (and home) that went beyond the scope of the project. He re-stucco'd an old balcony, re-did the weatherproofing of an old door, sawed through several busted lockboxes, and added an extra little Ipe wall. Because he was ahead of schedule on the project, he didn't charge us for any of it (not even materials). We've attached a few before and after photos, but they honestly barely do justice to his work. Tsering is one of a kind. If you want a backyard that looks like his portfolio, you should hire him. We are hoping that one day we'll be able to get on his calendar for our front yard as well.

I first met Humberto when I opened a Yelp project ticket in January. He was not only quick to respond, (he came over within an hour, on a Sunday), he also was transparent in his pricing and had great suggestions. I could tell he knew a lot about gardening. Humberto and Alejandro came in January for the first visit, and as was right for the season, they pruned all of the bushes, weeded the mulch and stone areas, and mowed the lawn. I liked them so much that first visit we made a plan for the next visit in the spring, which happened today! Humberto brought just the stone I wanted (he knew it by name when he saw it the first time), to refresh the old stone and also brought the mulch that we had talked about- both in the perfect quantity. Today they also mowed and fertilized the grass (the right time of year for that now), cleaned up all of my pots, put new plants in huge heavy ceramic pots, replanted some outlier succulents from the stone area, and did a thoughtful cleanup all around. He advised me about "sunny plants" and "shady plants" too, which was very useful. The yard is beaming with Springtime! Humberto is busy for a good reason, so plan for that, but a shiny well thought out garden is a joy.

From the beginning, Brian listened carefully to our goals and transformed our ideas into a beautiful vision of serenity. He hand-drew his design, explained his ideas, and brought everything to life with a respectful, prompt, and clean crew. He transformed our backyard into a true Zenscape, exactly what we hoped for, and created gorgeous front and back gardens complete with irrigation and lighting. We have now worked with Brian and his team for five years, and what stands out most is that the relationship didn't end when the project did. He continues to respond to our calls and messages, offer advice, and help us care for and preserve his work. During a recent construction project, he even coordinated with our contractor and plumber to protect the garden and ensure the irrigation was properly connected. Our front garden now features beautiful plants, rocks, stones, and a Maple tree Brian planted and helped preserve during construction. The backyard has become a true sanctuary, with fire and water features, a birdbath, Japanese lantern, lighting, and a lemon tree--a perfectly balanced retreat for birds, butterflies, and humans alike. Brian and Noe are now helping us refresh a few overgrown areas (our fault!), and we couldn't be happier with their quality, patience, and follow-through. Brian didn't just transform our yard--he transformed our quality of life. Everyone stops to admire the front of our house, and it brings us so much joy. We are incredibly grateful. Thank you, Zenscape!

Paul is a good guy. He communicates well over text & phone and in person. He is trying to run a small business in a hard environment. I root for people like Paul. I like hiring people like Paul. Usually that works out; in this case, it did not entirely. I had Paul do some yard work for me. The main project was turf install. I'l get to that in a second. In addition, Paul also did some yard cleanout and some new plant install. Those things went very well. I'll add those pics later. The turf was the main project, and where most of the expense was. The end product is really not good. I've had many people --a half dozen --both from the trades and friends who have installed turf --take a look and all have pointed out the many ways it is subpar, which I've attached pictures of below. 1. The seam is in the wrong place. It simply is in the most visible place and unnecessarily. To his credit, Paul owned that this was a mistake placement, but didn't correct the job. 2. The seam is not tight --it's scrunched and pulls up anywhere you pull on it. 3. The edges are messy --see pics 4. The edges are not secure --see pics. 5. It's not at all graded --it has mounds throughout. I'm not sure how this is possible, as grading is a very basic thing one does before install. It's perhaps the most noticeable bad element of the job. To Paul's absolute credit, he was always responsive when I complained, but I knew it wasn't going anywhere --I was pushing a rock up a hill: he and I simply disagreed on what turf should look like when it's done, and I just grew tired of calling out problems when the fundamental problem is mine: I should have hired someone else. Win some lose some. To summarize, if I had to do it differently I * would not make final payment until I'm satisfied (not the first time I've made this mistake!) * would hire Paul for yard cleanup and light landscaping * would hire someone else for turf
