Robert and his team are amazing. Super communicative, sensitive to our scheduling needs, and they did beautiful work. Our yard was a total wreck and Robert patiently guided us through making choices about materials, planning, and the overall process. The team did tree removal, planting, designed and laid a patio (where before we'd just had gravel and dirt), created gates for our front fence, built us beautiful trellises, installed new irrigation and lighting systems, and even smoothed a cracked patch on our driveway. I contracted Robert Cruikshank for a complete landscaping job for my front and back yards. The scope of the project included retaining walls, custom woodworking, new fences and gates, irrigation, and much more. We started with an introductory call to determine whether the project scope and expectations on both sides were a good match. I found this to be a valuable aspect in considering a contractor - many of the others I reached out to had a more generic approach and didn't take the time to really listen to my vision for project. I am in their service area and the work needed seems to be in the scope of what they do, but I guess they are just not interested. we found Robert on Yelp to create a level backyard from a sloping uninviting mess. It was a big project that lasted 3 months and involved retaining walls and terracing. I wanted to recommend Robert Cruikshank's company. We had him tear down and build a new redwood fence and hand build a large redwood trellis. His work crew were professional and the most meticulous workers I have had the pleasure of working with.
