Let me share our experience with Go Green Landscaping. In short they are respectful, polite, communicative, professional, honest and trustworthy. I would highly recommend them to do any landscaping work you may have. Their front office, supervisors and project staff are completely customer oriented. Shout out to Rachel, Daniel, Dorian, Francisco and Eli. I found them on Yelp and their profile and reviews gave us the perception of a high quality and professional landscape company. as such I felt their pricing may be a bit high. I used Yelp to contact and communicate with them initially. Rachel impressively returned my request for information the same day. I also reached out to 2 other companies at the same time. My initial request was for weed clearing and contouring the front yard. They in fact quoted the highest price for this work. I then asked the three firms to quote the entire front yard landscaping project and this is where Go Green Landscape won me over. I had a plan sketch drawing of the yard with dimensions and notes of what we were looking for. Daniel came out to review this with me. He was patience and knowledgeable to the point where I felt comfortable working with Go Green. (I suggest you have some plans prepared so they can quote properly.) I gave them materials and finishes we desired and wanted to match some existing work we had done. Their quote came back detailed and precise. Everything was documented and clear. Granted we went back and forth a few times to make sure all items, details and costs were accounted for but Rachel handled this like a champ. Dorian, Francisco, Eli and the Team came out to start work. Let me just say these guys know what they are doing. They cleared the front yard in the first day! Then area by area, section by section they worked with me to bring our front yard concept to life. We opted for a super low maintenance design. Retaining wall blocks, pavers, crushed rock, artificial turf and river rock. The quality of care and professional work they provided will impress you. They went back and forth to dump site to drop off waste and to vendors to pick up materials as needed. They shifted workers from job to job as the work progressed. Very easy to do business with this company. I had to cancel my original service date at the last minute (the day of) and they were very understanding and rescheduled for a few days later. Carlos and his crew were here on time, explained the work they would be doing and did an outstanding job. When they were done, they went above and beyond with the cleanup and even cleaned up the rest of my yard that had nothing to do with the tree trimmings! What a bonus!!! My experience with Go Green Landscape was wonderful. Everyone I spoke with was very kind and communicative, from the front office to the hands-on landscaping team. I work for an elementary school, and the team was very flexible with the school's hours and difficult access. Ambar in the front office always emailed back quickly and with kindness and enthusiasm! Daniel came for a preliminary site visit and was very clear about the project possibilities and limitations. When Carlos and the team came for the actual project, they went above and beyond to deliver the project outcomes. I scheduled with them to have three trees installed the first day they didn't show up. The second day they were three hours late and when they did show up, said they could not do the work. For some reason, they keep billing me. I have spoke with someone in their office multiple times, but they continue to bill me. Buyer beware!!! I needed some basic clean up in my backyard (hedge trimming, weed pulling, gravel installation), and came across Go Green Landscape. I was encouraged by all the good reviews they selectively display, however, after receiving the quote, I was appalled! Charging thousands of dollars for these types of basic services for a small outdoor space (a mere patio) is unethical, and straight highway robbery! I was able to book the same services through Task Rabbit for a fraction of the quote, and I have been very happy with the outcome of my choice. The only reason I gave my review even 1 star is because their receptionist was very friendly and helpful in answering my initial questions, and followed up with the quote promptly following our preliminary phone call. We hired Go Green Landscape to demo our old concrete patio , lower the grade to address a siding clearance-to-grade issue, install pavers and re-face a retaining wall to integrate aesthetically with the new pavers. Retaining walls on two sides of our patio had no footings so Go Green retrofitted footings to keep these walls from collapsing during the excavation. They also installed an additional piece of siding (hardboard so safe from termites) to cover the part of our home's foundation that was exposed by the excavation. Lastly, they delivered a cherry tree to replace one that could not be preserved during the excavation and integrated it into the patio design at a better location. Go Green was always cheerful, polite and tidy-- cleaning the site well at the end of each day. They take pride in their work and clearly want to do the best job that they can. We called one paving contractor (who gave an estimate without coming on site) and we interviewed one other landscape company and a general contractor on site. The other landscape company's estimate was higher and included a questionable "difficult access" fee of several thousand dollars that Go Green did not charge. Having seen how expertly Go Green built the footings and installed the additional siding I was completely satisfied that hiring a general contractor would have been overkill for our project. Excellent service. Tree pruning and haul-off took two guys an hour. Price was a little steep but I needed them within two days.

We were looking to have our backyard spruced up and Daniel and his team did a killer job. The process was simple and they were quick to get me an accurate estimate which we altered just a bit making the lawn just a bit bigger. Work happened as scheduled and frankly was much more work than I expected with moving the dirt and brining in the base rock. We had a few hiccups around irrigation and plant selection but Daniel was very responsive and I was happy with how it all ended up. You can still see the seam and they are coming back out to work on that a bit more. But both baby and dog love the new yard as do we. read more

Really good communication from the start. I used Yelps project quote feature and got an immediate response back. We needed our back yard cleaned out after a year + of over growth and the trees cut. Go Green came when they said, completed the job to our satisfaction, and were easy to work with. I sent a video of the work that needed to be done but they only sent one person. Working with Go Green Landscape was the best experience my family has ever had working with a contractor. And we've worked with a lot of different contractors on different home improvement jobs. 1. They replaced our uneven and cracked backyard concrete patio with a level and beautifully built concrete paver patio. 2. They built a retaining wall to help us hold back the sandy soil, and a step so we can easily walk from the new patio to the back garden. 3. They built a concrete walkway that gently slopes water runoff towards my garden. 4. They discovered that a French drain we had installed years ago was improperly installed. So they also fixed that for us. This backyard remodel was pretty difficult and had a lot of challenges. So the project design and objectives were constantly changing. Throughout it all, we felt very comfortable communicating and coordinating with Go Green. It was effortless and a true pleasure telling them about our needs, project ideas/designs and scheduling appointments. Their communication tools are top notch. I would always get a text message about an upcoming appointment with them and a very professional email reminding me about the appointment. And they're invoicing software is very clean, readable, and professional. Rachel, Daniel, Dorian, Francisco and the whole team are amazing. Quality and attention to detail are lacking. During the quote process, they failed to capture the most important aspect of why I initially needed to redo my yards. That was weed control - the quote made no mention of adding a weed fabric at all. I thought for a moment that surely must be reflected in the estimate somehow. I was wrong - quote went up to add weed fabric. After job got done, the yards actually looked very nice. But 2-3 weeks later, weeds all along the edges in the backyard appeared. After a few months, I thought to reach out since the problem was only happening in the back. But company won't remediate without additional charges. I'd be very careful in using them. I started using Go Green at the beginning of 2024 for one of my clients in San Francisco. The backyard was in rough shape and had not been maintained for several months prior. They did an extensive cleanup and debris removal. They now visit monthly to maintain the property and trim the fruit trees. The office has been amazing to work with. Nice work, good people, I feel I am well served and that they care about my memorial garden.

We used Go Green for a backyard gut remodel. The project scope included lowering half the yard about 4 feet, removing a HUGE cypress tree stump, adding a cement retaining wall, an Ipe deck with handrail, a few stairs, drainage, electrical and irrigation. Our backyard doesn't have street access, so much of the work was done without large machinery. In total, the project took about 3.5 months which included the holidays and 2 weeks of heavy rain where no work could be done. We received their information as a referral through NextDoor. We spoke to a handful of contractors and decided to move forward with them due to their experience level and price point (price was in the middle, we had lower quotes but after viewing work weren't comfortable with level of detail, and higher quotes that were far beyond our budget). The quote was very thorough, the accounting team was always really helpful and they came over several times to discuss different ideas prior to booking. My husband designed the yard on his own so we didn't have detailed plans or a landscape architect to help. The work: The team is extremely hard working, incredibly nice, and all around great people. They worked so hard day in and day out, especially when it came to the demo work. Daniel cares so deeply about the work being done and wants to ensure they create a great product. The deck team specifically did a wonderful job cutting and laying everything perfectly. Of course there were a few minimal things that needed to be reworked along the way. Anytime there was an issue, Daniel and the team were very quick to find a solution and get it done quickly without extra charges. We appreciated the eagerness to make things right and deliver a top notch product. We had a very specific plan and aesthetic we were going. At the beginning of the project, they would start doing the next part of the project, but we found more communication and check-ins really helpful for us. We started syncing before work would begin which allowed us to call out specific details and ensure we were on the same page. I'd highly recommend finding a communication cadence that works best from the beginning to save a bit of extra time/work. We found it worked way better for us. In the end, they finished the project on a tight deadline and made it happen despite us adding a few additional items into the plan. We had planned a backyard project but it slipped due to the pandemic. There were a few old fashioned rose bushes that were overgrown and we lacked the equipment to handle it on our own. We wanted to quickly clear out our yard so that we could utilize it a bit better, so we reached out to the Go Green Landscape team. They got back to us very quickly, provided a fair estimate, and were able to schedule something the following week. When the crew arrived they were very friendly and got to work right away. The yard was cleaned out in half the time, and they adjusted the estimate to match the reduced time. The yard is now spotless and cleaned out while leaving the tree we did want to keep in-tact. I reached out on 30th May asking for a quote - they said they would phone me for more details. They didn't. I phoned them on 8th June chasing up - they provided a quote for part of the discussed work (initial clean-up), but not the ongoing maintenance. I emailed on 10th June asking for the second part of the quote, and was told to expect it "in just a moment". It's now 21st June, and another company has visited my property in-person to make an estimate (rather than relying on pictures), negotiated a price, carried out the entire initial clean-up, and organized the follow-up - and still no follow-up quote from Go Green.
